Hello all as everyone know the stock HD2 battery has a horrible life. As I have been looking for a replacement and seen alot of threads here trying to find a nice battery so I came to ask few things I want to be clear about so post away if you can help.
1) I want normal size battery that is not extended battery as it fits in the original cover for TMoUS HD2.
2) I want the highest possible mAh that fits in the original case, which is what 1500-1600 mAh? if anyone know any other let me know.
3) I seen alot name these 3 companies Andidas, Galilios, Mugen. So name them which is better.
Keep in mind that to me money is not an option as I am welling to spend whatever long as it meets my requirement as I want quality and durability also don't want it to blow up as safety is also a concern, thanks looking for good product review and advice.
Anyone? any take on this? thanks.
i m interest with this too
Well I took HD2 of charge at 8AM when I was getting ready for work and now its 3:46PM and I am at 63% battery power. So I need a real solution as I use my phone for work, hope someone who tested other battery can respond as I need it urgent.

Have you been using the phone? If so, this is not bad! You only lost 37% battery for almost a whole day of work!
And you will not find a battery that fits like the original one, and has more capacity.
Just buy a second one, charge it, and take it along...
Thanks for your reply man but are you sure? As I seen in this very forum battery that is 1300 mAh and I'm not talking about bulky extended battery packs. Also carrying around two battery and changing it is not an option. Also that's like only 6-7hours and already that low ATM I have to keep my charger with me at work fearing that ill lose battery power as it happend once. I can Google some results but ill take feedbacks from user here any day as they tested it and used it thus they can compare it and it would have a fare product review.

dude if you can get your phone to mid after noon with more than 60% charge, you really shouldn't be complaining lol....
Its 8:30PM EST here and i am at 34% as device has uptime of 47hours and connected to 3g tmobile network for 36hours. I need 1500-1700 mAh but i seen 1300 on this forum as they say its same size.
The best battery you can get is a momax 1100 mah yes the mah is less than stock. But the reports are very good and it should go longer then the stock. It will give you about 20% extra. There are no good 1500 mah or more batteries. For example HyperNode would get with that momax battery instead of 34% 49 or 52 something like that.

The higher the mAh number, the longer a battery will last.
If your phone needs 1000 milliamps(1.0Ah) to work, a 1000mAh battery will last 1 hour continued use, if the phone needs 500mAh it will last for 2 hours and so on.
So going from standard 1230mAh to 1500mAh will not give that much more battery life.
Easier to carry a charged spare standard size battery if going to be away from charger for a long time.
I've also taken a different 'strategy' Charge all time (in car with Navi and BT anyhow) and use cheap secondary batteries (as with this charging strategy they wont last too long)
Apart form the Ah of a battery, it makes a huge difference in how the battery is engineered. It is indeed possible that a lower Ah battery provides more rela life power....

Jan thanks for that useful reply as ill look in to the product. But is there any battery that you know from same company with higher mAh? From what you said this is better than stock one and lower mAh yet better performance due to higher quality.
So ATM two candidates for possible same stock size battery.
1) Momax 1100 mAh
2) Mugen 1300 mAh
I hope people who used any or both can compare it with stock battery and post the finding here so others like me can make easy decision and order it.

I want a new battery with more power to my phone, i am also not apposed to getting a Extended Battery.. Any suggestions, or info i should no about?
Check out the Hero CDMA sub forum, there are several options for batteries there.
You can pick up two extra batteries and an external charger for about $12 on Ebay. I went this route and don't regret it. I keep a fully charged battery in my glove box and another in my back pocket.
I never worry about killing my phone during the day from overuse. That said, since I've been using Zen's newest MT3G slide ROM, I haven't been able to completely drain a battery while at work.
Check out my sig (the TP2 batteries) for ideas on batteries...
in a nutshell unless you want s really big battery. The best choice is to get a 1500mAh OEM battery or the cheap 1500mAh no-name ones (which are pretty much as good) Don't fall for the mugen and Seidio ripoffs

sadly I had to look for as low as 2600mah but it still is a much better bargain, and to think I just bought one of those 3200mah's I even donated it into the battery reviewer guy
will that g3 3200mah fit in cdma hero with that 2600mah battery cover?

no but it will with one of these "covers" It's skinnier (from left to right) than the normal battery but taller (out the back)

The Mugen batter cover looks nicer imo. The replacement covers that look like someone glued a battery door on it like kinda retarded...I do wish they were a bit cheaper though.

the seidio cover is basicly junk.. so what i ended up doing was getting the oem htc extended battery door.for the hero ( basicly just like the stock door..etc ) and took my siedio 3500 mAh batt. and took that apart etc. to make it fit under the door..
Worked like a charm.. and looks stock.. cept for the slight buldge.. now most will be like bah this bah that. who cares..lol best 100 bucks ive spent..etc..

The new OEM TP2 2100 batteries...Are you considering them the best for the Hero..? If so where's the best place to get them ?
Mac
for what it's worth, i was hesitant to spend the money on the 3500 mostly due to everyone saying that back cover looked like poo. after getting it though, i can honestly say that it is of good quality. obviously, it's black, and that will bother some people. to me though, it's kind of cool when other Hero owners (there are a ton of them, too) comment on it. they can't believe how much better i tel them the batery life is since that seems to be most people's biggest complaint (for smart phones in general). The cover is rubberized and doesn't fall off like some people say.
As for battery life, i unplug and turn my phone on at 4:45am every morning and usually turn it off around 10pm and plug it in. in that time, my email is pushed every 30 minutes, my bluetooth stays on, i stream shoutcast or pandora for about 1.5 hours (to and from work), send and receive on average 15-20 text messages, talk maybe 45 minutes, and surf the web (gotta check engadget and xda, right?) for at least 30 minutes. the gps stays on the whole time and i only use my task killer once about 15 minutes after my morning startup when all the crap is running in the background. when i turn the phone off at night, it has usually just dropped to the 50% mark. well worth the $53 if you ask me...
2000mah battery
If I'm not mistaken, isn't this the battery that fits the stock back. Previous posts lead to dead link or relisted after relisted, on and on? If this is it, it's back on ebay. I had read somewhere on this site that it was worth the long wait.

Apart from the OEM HTC Extended Batteries. Were can US users find a working Extended Battery. I have an eBay one but the battery life is similar to the 1200mah HTC battery.
Does anyone know if Leicke sells batteries in US?
And also... For anyone answering this. What kind of battery life do they actually give when compared to the original?
is no one using any other extended battery apart from OEM, Mugen and Leicke?

I think only Mugen makes an actual extended battery that fits the TMOUS HD2, which is larger than the Euro version. That battery is around $80 and has a "big hump" battery cover included.

Interesting because the seller is a US seller.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the 1600mah Andida Battery for HTC HD2; mine lasted less than one month and now I am trying to get a replacement from the OBOstore
ugh... really need a good extended battery that's gonna give me more than 24 hours and doesn't cost like 60$ like Mugen
I get a good 20 + hours, With Moderate to Heavy Usage. Wifi on and or 4G.
WITH the original Battery.
i currently get about 20hrs with moderate use with stock and 41hrs with the ebay Chinese extended that doesn't get a proper battery level read. It gets stuck on 15% for like 10 hours which i didn't realize before.

I think there is some kind of Android thing where it won't charge unless the OS is running. I don't run Android myself on my HD2. But in any case you are going to need an external charger to get it going, or to flash back to WM to charge the battery.
hi, well, I have android OS running..
I have the OEM 1200 mah htc battery which charges and works perfectly fine...
Its the extended one that has problems and doesn't charge...
If anyone's interested, this website has extended batteries for $13.91.

Title kinda says it all...
I believe it is the Seidio 1750 mAh battery but some people are saying the OEM 1500 mAh HTC battery gets as much or more life. Both will fit.
i have an 1800mAh battery from HTCexpress and i can tell you that your not gonna fit anything bigger in there. i cant believe I waited so long to get this battery. 2 batteries and a charger for $35. thats a steal in my book

Without having the 1750 to compare against, I can tell you the 1800 will last me all day. The stock would be dead by lunchtime
With moderate use after 12 hours, I'll be between 65-55% left. I can easily go all day without even thinking about charging it. I'm on CM7.2.1 with chads incredikernel and voltage tweaks. This thing is tweaked to get the max battery life so thats a factor as well but even if you don't tweak the bejesus out of it I still recommend the 1800 battery from htcexpress. The phone shouldve come shipped with this type instead of the crappy stock battery it comes with. Like broken said I cant compare either, Ive never used the seidio 1750.
I just got a 2nd Incredible today. It came with a couple of batteries.
Total I have the following:
HTC 1300 mAh Red OEM (original with my first Dinc)
HTC 1500 mAh Black OEM (came with the 2nd phone) 35H00123-00M 5.55 Whr
HTC 1800 mAh Red (not sure if this is oem or a knockoff?) RH0D160 4.07 Whr
Seidio 1750 mAh
What would be the best battery?

In that case would the HTC 1800 mAh be the one to go with? The lower Whr rating had me a bit thrown off. It is a fatter battery that I can BARELY get the back cover on when it is installed.

i use the 1800 from htcexpress. it isn't oem, so i'm sure i'm not getting the full 1800 that is spec'd, but i can say with confidence that it performs better than stock. i have yet to have my phone die on me since switching over, and it used to happen every once and while with stock.
So far the 1800 mAh seems to be draining quicker than I expected but I will try it out a few more days before passing judgement.

Mine was a little disappointing the first few days but it definitely lasted pretty well after that. I've had mine since mid December and I feel like it's starting to lose its ability to keep a charge.
My 1750 felt the same way, I had that from June-December, which is about the same amount of time. Probably happens because I bump charge - apparently that can reduce the life of the battery. I still think it's totally worth it though because I can honestly have the battery last for hours longer if I bump charge. It seems to drain slower for the whole day if I bump charge compared to if I don't.
I have not been bump charging but the 1800 mAh is now out of the phone in favor of the Seidio. It was just draining like it was the 1300 mAh stock battery. My experience with the seidio had been much better for the last few weeks before getting the 1800 mAh.
I have had a 1750 Seidio since they came out last year (I got my Incredible just over a year ago). Eventually, with regular bump charging, it stopped holding a charge even as well as the stock battery.
I just picked up via ebay the two-for-one 1800 OEM's and they *just* fit inside the stock door, and hold a charge far better than the Seidio ever did, although for most of the first 6-7 months of the Seidio's life, I was unrooted and running stock, and since December I've been running better kernels and ROM's.
As an update for my Seidio vs. 1800 mAh tests, I just realized this weekend that I had forgot to do the *228 option 2 update for roaming since getting my 2nd Dinc and that has of course helped out my battery life.
I am going to try both out again this week and see how I feel about them now.

You cant. They are great batteries. If you woulda spent $4 more you coulda had a charger too, which charges it WAY better than plugging the phone into the wall charger.
http://www.htcexpress.com/batteries...-battery-sprint-verizon-incredible-droid.html
I usually plug my phone over night while the charger has the spare also charging. In the am I swap batteries. No more need for bump charging.
I've currently got a Verizon Galaxy S3 with the Qcell extended battery. I've got the Note 2 on preorder and have already begun looking at extended batteries for it. Of course, the Qcell 6200 mah is going to be good: http://www.amazon.com/Extended-Comp...52674262&sr=1-2&keywords=galaxy++note+2+qcell
But, I was browsing ebay and noticed that there is a 7600 mah available. Has anyone tried this? Thanks.

There's a decent chance it's actually a 760 mAh battery lol. I'd go with a reputable brand (who still often advertise more mAh than they actually use)
Holy crap those batteries are huge!!! O.O
You must be on your phone 24/7 if you need a battery like that. The Note 2 can easily get through a whole day with the stock battery.

Well I'm a student and plan to use the phone a lot for a whole day, including reading pdf's and stuff on it. It will basicaly be a dual use phone and tablet. Therefore, I really need the battery.
I had the original Note before returning it because its battery life was so short. I could literally see the battery % draining while using it.
I am gussing those back cover replacement have no NFC, so be warned.
