Root Loses warranty
So is it possible "to lose warranty without losing it?" got it ?
yeah you can always unroot it to regain warranty.
N your ROM is non rootable, directly, you have to downgrade first.
Do what Zamboney said you in previous post.
Dont be afraid, you will not use warranty if you respect the treads of cds dev, they are very good, and the gnote is strong !

Sorry, I want to say xda dev's, not cds.

I know that root -> no warranty, but...

Couldn't there be a way to port this "no counter increase" root method from I717 to N7000 though?
Download root guide from last link on my signature. N follow it to the letter, it wont raise counter dont worry.

Rooting your phone means giving yourself root, or superuser (think...admin) access, giving you access to system files and the ability to change things that normally are marked read only. This allows you to change all kinds of things that normally you wouldn't be able to, along with install custom versions of Android.
. If you root your phone and something happens while the phone is rooted and you go with it to father samm, your warranty is voided, unless you unroot the phone. As for how to root your phone here is a very usefull link with guide on how to root unroot: http://rootgalaxynote.com/
u can customize ur android with rooting ur fone!
Thankssssss buddyyyyyyyy

You'll be confused by the instructions...
If you do something wrong your note may brick badly.
I recommend you to update your note to ICS via Kies and don't root your note unless you have much knowledge about rooting and flashing ROMs cauz it bears your own risk.

You got a 'Thanks' because I hit the wrong button.
You have posted a question in Themes and Apps, and your question shows you have done no research by, for example, reading the sticky threads at the top of General or Development.....also by using the 'Search' function. Do your research before you flash anything.
Is there any method of doing it without unlocking bootloader?
have you searched google properly ? if you are good at it then first post from google will tell you how to do that ?
you were htc user before? there is no bootloader locking thing samsung doing on phones

Read the op twice. He is talking about the ace plus. There is no cfroot for the ace plus as of now..
Don't be a noob. Be a newbie..!!
Details here.
Hi,
I flashed my Galaxy note with CM9 and my phone stuck at samsung logo.i couldn't even flash Stock Rom using ODIN. Then i used PIT file and successfully flashed but the problem is my 3GB of internal storage was damaged. It is showing 8.24GB of total space. Now i want to claim for warranty . I used Triangle Away to reset flash counter and flashed stock Rom without Root .Is it ok now for claiming warranty?
Thanks in Advance.
Depends in your country. Some countries still accepts warranty eventhough you're rooted

What exactly does it mean to trip Knox? Does it cause any problems in the future with updating the firmware, etc...?

No. Just means you void your warranty with Samsung.

Also there was talk that Samsung Pay might not work in the future. No way to tell until it comes out
That is the only reason I'm not rooting yet.

I have used iroot on other phones. Never tried it on s6 but im pretty sure it would work. Just install the app. You might have to go to a chinese sight with no english but just dowload it. The app has english so your good. It install its own su app which works well. Open the app and follow the instruction they are easy the app does qll the work.

You might want to tell everybody in the op that as of right now flashing a custom recovery will trip knox.
So quick question guys:
If I root the S6 with the new tool, it won't trip Knox?
Once its rooted, would I be able to replace the lock screen with the one from stock android and replace the dialer with the google dialer? I love stock experience but I wanted a premium device so I went with the S6.
Thanks.

Unrooting.
Is it possible to unroot at some point after using this method? Lets say I need to use my warranty for the phone. Is unrooting possible?

No.. Your warranty is gone forever.
Why do people keep asking this silly question, you root your phone you kiss your warranty goodbye.

You shouldn't answer unless you're sure. This root method can be reversed by used ODIN to completely go back to stock.
