Hi i have been using TB on my mi 410 for sometime now. But the problem i am facing is that when i try doing the batch restore of few apps i have to press install for each app and after the installation is over again it prompts and i have to press Done for it to install the next app. I Had an Iball slide tablet on which once if i select the apps to be restored, TB would simply restore all the apps i have selected with out having to do anything more. But here the problem is when ever i change the Rom i would be using TB and if i have to restore about 30 to 40 apps i have to sit in front of the phone and keep pressing the install and done buttons for all the apps which is so painful. So just wanted to know if there is an alternate. Thanks for any help.
Cheers,
Shri

I am using pro and i am able to restore in a single click ....

Hey guys!
First off I'd like to thank all of the people on the forum for letting me do so many awesome things with my phone.
To the question. What is the easiest way to restore application settings once a kernel is flashed? I just went from root to unrooted stock and then to the SuperRooterExtreme and am trying to put everything back in its place.
Thanks for any tips/suggestions you may have!

Hi Alec,
I'm kind of a noob here, but from what I gather the best way to restore applications + data is to use titanium backup. BEFORE YOU FLASH A NEW KERNEL OR FIRMWARE, go into titanium backup and do a batch backup of all apps plus data. This will save all app data to your internal memory in a folder called Titanium Backup. Once you flash a new firmware and use UltraSuperRooterMegaExtreme, then reinstall titanium backup and do a batch restore. This will then reinstall all the apps you previously had. Batch restore is only available through the paid version
Thanks for the scoop! How much is the pro version?

I have the paid app. Just wondering how to do the batch restore, I can't seem to find that option.
Edit: meant to answer your question, Its up to you how much you'd donate I believe. I think it [email protected] $3.99 us

Open Titanium Backup
click on menu key (bottom left button)
a screen will slide up from the bottom click batch
Then choose from the menu what you want to do. There are many options.
I'm a noob too, I hope this helps.
Also get ROM Manager if you are going to flash to a new ROM and back up your current ROM.
Thanks to all for the Titanium Backup advice. It'll save me sooo much time.

Agreed! Great app, I thought all I could do was use AppBrain market to sync my apps. This is better, thanks!

I've been running CM7.1 off the sdcard for a long time and everything works great, except for one thing: I cannot run titanium backup pro. The free version works fine and I can do one backup, but every time I try to change the number of backups it says that that feature is only for the donated version. I paid for TBP for quite sometime and it worked on two other android devices, so I'm puzzled as to why it's not working. Could the problem be caused by the fact that I'm running CM7.1 off the sdcard?
Possible tell-tale sign: On the other devides where TBP does work, when I first fire up TB it says "checking for license", but on my NC it never did that.
Is there anyone else who can run TBP under CM7.1 off sdcard? I was going to email the developer but I thought I could check with other users on the forum first...
Thanks!
You downloaded your license from the market?

I can confirm that TB off uSD CM7 does work.
Are you on the latest version of the key?

Uninstall & reinstall solves my problem... should have thought of that... :-(

Hello
i swichted from stock rom to custom rom, but i recognized that everything was deleted.
So how can i Backup the apps and other data in order to put it back after installing a custom rom.
Titanium backup from the market.
Widgets position on the homescreen will not be saved unless you use a custom launcher with a save setting.

galaxy s3 backup problems !
can you guys please tell me how do i restore the apps, contacts and everything i recently backup (on the phone storage) while installing a custom rom wipes everything?
that means i have to backup everything to the PC to be able to restore them after installing the rom
also samsung kies won't detect the phone as it has a different rom
Hi, a small question.
As some of you here that uses Rocket rom and has been flashing every new update by Eybee, i have settings made for apps that i uses, i usually do a fullwipe, and it's tedious to redo all settings from ground up once i flash and redownloading apps. Are there ways i could save the apps and it's settings at the same time, hence i do not need to redo everything for every fullwipe/flash?

Yes. Redo backups for new data. Some apps won't hold it no matter what.
System settings is something I don't do a restore for just to be safe. I can have all my regular settings loaded in no time now.
I'd Suggest mybackup pro as a better alternative

TB doesn't back up system apps by default. You can have it backup whatever you want though. Years ago I paid for it so I still use it. Can't comment on the other as I haven't felt the need to try anything else.
Hi Guys,
So I've been using my HTC One for a few months and now decided to finally root it. The problem: Rooting it will wipe all of its data and I've got a lot...
So here's my question:
Is it possible to perform a Full Backup with Apps, App data(savegames) , contacts, messages, call log and maybe even all the files on the internal storage.
I'm not rooted and got Android 4.2.2. It doesn't have to be a All-in-one tool, the important part is that I don't lose anything
Im looking forward to your response

As per my knowledge , unlike earlier android versions .... there will not be any data losses ....try this rooting video tutorial
https://www.google.co.in/url?sa=t&s...twIwAA&usg=AFQjCNEyLasgV81Bd5chhgwCOochHUjDCA
If you really want to backup your apps try 'App backup & restore' or similar apps .... but they can only backup the apps not the app data
To backup an apps completely as you see it , you need apps like Titanium Backup ... but it requires root access
Hope it helps...

if you're going to unlock using HTCdev, then it wipe EVERYTHING off your phone, just installing root doesn't wipe.
Since you're not rooted TiBu won't work, so check out Helium
also check
SMS Backup & Restore by Sashu
Call Logs Backup & Restore by Sashu (when restoring, first restore logs, THEN sync contacts, otherwise the names won't get resolved)
