I can't download and install mobile odin. It's saying that it's not compatible with my device everytime I try to get it.
Now, my main objective is to get the LA1 on my device but I got more confused with the multiple files contained in the stock LA1 file I downloaded.
Using ODIN to flash LA1, which file goes to
BOOTLOADER
PDA
PHONE
CSC
Thanks!

Just use code* file with pda
No other needed, n don't select re partition in Odin
Just to inform if you do this with PC Odin, you won't get root later.
It should do with mobile Odin

Yes, You can use Odin to flash any Stock Rom safely.
A link on my signature " N7000 Stock Roms" are all stock ROMs
you can use it with Odin.
Edit : Myself have flashed Indian ROM(KL1), in a UAE purchased Note of my friend.
I can confirm whether he can see Mobile Odin on their Note or Note. I will mail him, if you want to confirm
how can i chech my flash counter? not that i really care.. but for curiosity

Actually, I believe that the reason why I can't see mobile odin is because of some imposed restriction where I am now.
Not required to send an email to your friend. I will just discover for myself. I'm downloading the KL1 and I'll will flash it to my device using Odin. Then I'll use the method 2 (Root + CWM) to see if I will finally meet Mobile Odin.
If all goes well, then I'll be having an LA1/LA3.

Yes I can, I tried to downgrade to GB but it failed as well :/
I don't really clearly understood your issue.
But if you want to flash a Stock ICS Rom, start ODIN PC, start your SGNote in download mode (button volume down + home + power), then connect your SGNote to your PC and flash via ODIN PC.
If you don't know exactly how to use ODIN PC, check tutos on the forum.

Reinstall your ADB/USB drivers, make sure you're using USB2.0 port - for me USB3.0 always results in failed flash, ultimately switch USB ports.

The file you download from dr. Ketan is a .rar file, unzip it once and you get a .tar file. Flash that file with Odin in pda section. So don`t unzip the .tar file again.

To start with - you need root to flash this custom ROM, so unrooting your device was a mistake, you have to root it again.
Now, i've never flashed Criskelo's ROM, but from what i've read in the thread, you need to root your device, flash Chainfire's ICS repack via mobile odin, and then flash criskelo rom via CWM. Do not unpack the .zip file, you need to point CWM to that file.

Yours looks like already damage some partitions due to the EMMC bug, wiping under ICS buggy kernel.
So you should look for help from warranty service if you can. Or do repartition using custom PIT file or manual method, although will loose some space of sdcard. The guide is in the thread below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1661590
Hope it helps.

You can install custom roms which is packed in .zip format as suggested in the guide. If one rom not wirk, try a secobd one. See how it goes. Btw, it always useful if you post partition table so we can see if it looks right.
About kernel. Should use abyssnote, search in the forum you will find it.

If possible you should give the source where the PIT file is from. If it is custom PIT file from hg42 you should mention it, or from someone or you made it? Using a blind PIT file is dangerous and can lead to hard-brick.

There's a guide in the Dev section (stickied).. a little reading goes a long way!
Basically it's gonna look like this: Stock KK4 w/o BLs with Odin -> Corn kernel with Odin 1.85 (go in recovery to get root) -> Flash custom ROM as per their instructions -> Enjoy!
So yeah, little rundown but you have some reading to do to make sure you understand what you are doing.
Since u r runnin android 2.3.4 then u have gb bootloaders so u r good concerning that.
Simply Odin flash the .tar packaged KK4 Corn Kernel version 7.0A , afterwards reboot into the cwm recovery and install ur rom of choice that u should have copied to ur internal sdcard by now, per said rom's install instructions. (u will have to select to install it twice) Success.
--- Option is there, in the advanced cwm recovery menu, to gain Root access. But the big unrealized fact to a lot of users is that u actually don't need to have Root in order to flash a Developer's Rom. If u follow the method i just laid out.---

I'd say to retry flashing Corn kernel with Odin 1.85 (don't forget the .pit)
If that doesn't work, flash stock KK4 without BLs, then reflash Corn kernel with Odin 1.85.

The .pit file.
When you use Odin 1.85, you need 2 files to flash a kernel: .tar and .pit
Your flash most likely didn't work cause you didn't have the .pit file (hence why I said a little reading goes a long way).
It can either be found in here (little search) or on the samsung website.
EDIT: here it is: http://www.droidevelopers.com/attac...752561-[download]-ops-pit-files-s1je4.pit.rar
If you don't know how to use Odin, there are plenty of videos on youtube. Please take time to really understand what you're doing otherwise you'll end up with a paperweight in your hands.

No, when using Odin 1.85, you put the .tar file in the PDA and the .pit file in the PIT.
Flashing Corn kernel will give you a cwm recovery and you won't need to root, just flash the ROM you want to as per their instructions.

this is what my looks like now after applying tar and pit file :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
Hello hopeless android users!
There are some threads about unbricking, but some phone has been bricked massively, and we can't do a normal flashing (I mean the samfirmware and other pda roms).
For example when you get one of these massages in odin:
http://pastebin.com/byiC7D2v
or this:
http://pastebin.com/f6Wh1J7x
When we got in this king of trouble, we can do another method.
What do we need?
Odin 1.85
And a multi-package firmware - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1822109 (by Domnic79)
Unpack s5830idownloader.zip
Open Odin (If windows 7, than right click -> Open as administrator)
Do not check repartition!!! Do not use .pit file!!!
Boot your phone in download mode! (Press Vol. up + Vol. down, than press power)
Connect your phone to your PC (Don't connect to the front USB, if Desktop)
Unpack firmware.zip
Put PDA to PDA, PHONE to MODEM and CSC to CSC
Press start, and wait...
When you connect your phone, you should see, that odin recognise it!
I hope it was helpful!
Don't press thanks just for me! One for Domnic79 too!

S5830i OdinDOWNLOAD
I recommend adding [GUIDE] to your post title
If you want a current firmware, use splitfus2 with command "splitfus2 -w <firmware tar file>", it will split the package for you. Then flash without repartition and without pit.
When I bricked my 5830i I would still get bootloop after flashing a completely new firmware, so I flashed the rafaelbaugis CWM kernel, formatted /system, /data, /cache and flashed a custom ROM. That unbricked my device.

Some brick isn't as hard, that you couldn't solve it by a simply wipe, or a rom flash.
Your guide didn't help.
My phone is rebooting and rebooting.
The other guide also didn't help!

Sometimes it happens with me too. Just go to recovery and factory reset and wipe cache. It helps in my case.
