You don't need to but for the best performance and stability I would recommend you to perform a Factory Reset.

I'll try to do that, which hosting files do you prefer ?
For me I had a lot of problem when updated without a factory reset, after a factory reset the phone became stable.

I just flashed it in Greece and its working smooth and fast...I also did a clean install...I didn't have to backup anything because i had everything even the apps synced with google so my phone is downloading everything again on its own...It was about time samsung released it...Let's hope it will fix certain bugs of the previous GB version

Well my GB is rooted with rooted apps. Any way i can root ics or can i keep my Gb kernel? i want to try but worried about bricking my phone.

confirmed working on I9100G Malaysia.

Just be patient I am uploading the ROM I am about 82% right now

my odin stuck at SetupConnection almost 10 min now, is it normal? Afraid to unplug.
Update: I just end Kies in Task Manager and reflash.

Chinese firmwares are for Chinese phones with Chinese bootloaders

what about rooting can the phone be rooted after installing this rom

only english and china. Can be rooted. First look chinese version is faster and newer than lsr. So waiting next from india eg something else.

i dont know, i just downloaded Chinese 4.1.2 and uploaded via odin 3.07 after formating all cache,data,system,emmc in recovery mode with
GT-I9100G_ICS_ClockworkMod-Recovery_5.5.0.4
my phone is from Europe. And older Chinese version i couldnt upload with odin 1.87 i tried before.

is this version got SOD or bootloop bug in stock rom?

How to add others languages to localize main ui in this rom. This rom doesnt support to make easy switch eg. via language enabler app.

One remark: i made a clean install, after I had some problems with the notification bar and with my NOVA launcher (coming from XXLSZ).
After a factory reset, installing DDLSC and restoring only my apps with data everything is ok.
And now I will make the usual slim version (I wish it would be so easy to make a slim version out of me again).

He based on Samsung Official ROM and is deodexed, rooted, ZigAlign and BusyBox is installed. So the ROM supports the S-PEN and all Samsung Applications... the ROM is unbranded without any Provider Logos or Ringtones. Full Samsung Stock

Now a few TIPs!!!
A full wipe is absolutely necessary
If you are coming from an Odexed Stock ROM a full wipe is absolutely necessary!!
Then please make a BACKUP!!!! I can not test any ROM or MOD for the N8020 because i have an N8000! So please make a Backup !!!
How to make the FIRST flash:
ROM downloaded
N8020-xxxx-MultiCSC-deodexed.zip push to your Note 10.1
boot in the CWM
MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP!
a full wipe is absolutely necessary
Cache and Dalvik Cache wipe
install ROM over CWM (wait a few minutes)
make a full wipe again!!
you dont needed to install any GApps (all GApps included in the ROM)
reboot your Device (the first boot can take a little bit more time)
If it not work... full wipe again and reflash the ROM! Please give me me Feedback!

Just came to say thank you for Darkaman's work, even though i dont have this device

Would love to try but can't get it to flash. Have redownloaded twice and confirmed md5, but when I select the zip in CWM I get "Error in N8020-XXBMC3-MultiCSC-deodexed.zip" "(Status 6)" "Installation aborted."
Any ideas?

VNZ is for what Country? I will look for it....
Modem and Kernel is from Schweden ROM... if someone have trouble with that i can post other modems. But i think it must work.

Allcast-Share do not Work

Good work! But i must return to rooted Stock ROM XXBMA7. I can not connect to my Allcast-Share Dongle to morroring my Screen to HDMI Display. I can not Reset the Flashcounter and Custom-Status with Triangle Away App. This is importend for Allshare.

Mine is having problems as well. The APN settings refuse to connect, and as bearer I have undefined, Lte and ehrpd. None of these work at all.
Will re-flash and report back, but looks like there may be some bugs.
I have a gt-n8020 on Hi 4g in Amsterdam. The settings are all correct.

DO you think this will work on Verizon SCH-i925?

Reloaded the stock rom and all fine. Double checked the settings in there. seems that the 4g APN isnt being read from somewhere.
I have the screenshots of the settings though. Will re-load later and insert that APN to see if it works! now i dont have SU, but can easily remedy that!
I also have the extracted modem bin if that helps?

First lets take a look at the different sections in Odin where we can insert files and what these sections represent:
• PIT This is for .Pit files you will just need to utilize this if a firmware redesign needs to change your partition layout or on the off chance that you mess up you partition table.
• Bootloader This is for new bootloader, be that as it may I have never known about this being utilized or ever needed to utilize it myself so again allow this segment to sit unbothered
• PDA This is the file where the system is really actually and its name alludes to the version of the software.
• PHONE This is for the file that contains the modem.

Note: To Upgrade/Downgrade/change Modem we will use Phone Tab.
Flashing Guide
Modem:
Battery should be charged at least over 60%. Make sure that your battery is charged enough to complete the flashing process.
Download Modem zip
Extract the Zip folder
Enter to Odin Mode (Note4)
Launch Pc Odin
Click on Phone select the Modem.bin
Click on Start
Wait till the status shows Reset and Device gets Reboots
Device rebooted- All OK
Goto About device confirm the baseband to see if the modem has changed.
Bootloader:
1- Very very very very important, you must go into download mode by hardware buttons (turn off device or pull out and in battery just to be safe, press Volume down + home button and power it on) please do notgo to bootloader from reboot menu i warned you.
2- Open odin, unthick Auto reboot, click on BL, and add sboot.tar.md5, plug your phone in download mode and flash, IMPORTANT: wait till it write all threads completed and port color became GREEN with PASS written in it, it will take about 2-3 minutes be patient.
Note: PLEASE DO NOT PUT .PIT FILE AND DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT TICK REPARTITION.
Refer to the below screenshot.
You may request for other models I shall full fill the request in 24hours.
I have created this thread keeping in mind you don't have to download the full firmware to change the modems.

So i'd say no - these are NOT for the note 3.
