My first set of icons. These icons are inspired by several other icons out there (ex the shading from
iPhonious and several alternate icons). Many thanks to all for the inspiration and in some cases
the icons. I wanted something that would simply unify the size and shape of app icons.

Excellent icon set. For your first try its amazing, considering I rarely see tasteful minimalistic/stock icon sets this nice. Would definitely suggest/request adding Dolphin Browser and the App Drawer icon from Nova Launcher.
I would love it if you released psds with layers in tact. I've been working on a similar icon pack. Kind of a mix of ics and miuiv4. But was getting stuck on how some icons should translate. These are perfect! Save the gloss and squared edges. If you'd rather not release the psds to the pub, I'd really appreciate it if you'd consider pming me a link .

I am new to the whole changing icons thing. Is this only usable with a home replacement, or is there a way to flash this from recovery, or possibly an app that allows you to change all icons in one go?

The icons are to be used with a home replacement. Most 3rd party launchers have a function where you can customize icons on the Homescreen by long pressing the icon and following the menu that pops up. This is what this icon set is meant for.
ADW, LauncherPro, and GoLauncher (arguably the 3 most popular launchers) do have the ability to theme all icons at the same time, but a theme apk (app) must be created and installed, allowing for the user to select that theme within the launcher options.
I have zero coding experience so the zip here contains only the icons - for manually editing homescreen shortcuts. And the zip is not flashable.

If you are on stock launcher, you can try the app Desktop Visualizer. You can only change 1 icon at a time. Just make sure you know where u extracted the zip to.

open up theme chooser from your app drawer
Choose Linear and apply (please note you will get a pop up saying missinf assets for your screen size, dont worry about that its a non issue for the theme!)
and lastly REBOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you must reboot for the changes to take place!

There is alot that can be done with the theme engine, but there are still a few areas that cant be modified with it. So that why we decided to and a Framework add on. This optional! the theme apk will them 85% of your phone.
this will change your system framework for good so to get it back to stock you will have to reflash the rom or at least the framework again.
what this zip will do.
Theme your lockscreen, your slinding tab lock will now be transparent. your rotary will be transparent for the most part minus some Linear images. and there is a new image for the minimal Lense lockscreen.
added some pop up images. your volume slider now flows with the theme.

I was wondering if you could standardize your lists a bit more so they're more-easily readable. For instance, the app picker in Beautiful Widgets is perfect, but the Power menu is incredibly difficult to read.
P.S. It looks incredibly nice between this, ADW Theme, and BW Theme!

The skin/theme app is also very BETA and you should see a update by Sunday if all goes according to our plan.

Yes I will be working on both sets. Typically, any requests for one set will also be made in the other.
Where is the file .PSD? And the .mtz?
IMHO, the icons are very nice but they are smaller of the "sisters" and lack of the little three-dimensional effect highlighted.

Sorry, I'm not releasing the PSD as yet, mainly because I want some feedback. I agree, the icons do look better with the shadowing. I will likely updated the pack today or tomorrow. As for the size that is intentional.
As for the MTZ another member was creating those but I may add one myself. For for the time being I'm focusing on the icons. An APK is likely however.

For now the icons are only for downloading and extracting to your phone and then using a custom launcher that allows you to customize an icon on the desktop. Alternatively if you are on stock you can use Folder Organizer or Desktop Virtualizer to change an icon on the desktop. Icons in the drawer will not be altered.
An APK theme pack for launchers that will change icons in the drawer and desktop automatically should be coming soon.

Keep in mind if you are a rooted jellybean user, you can fix paid themes by backing up, and restoring the theme with Rom Toolbox free or ti-back up free.
Currently at the moment only Apex Paid BETA works 100% with icon theme'ing. Apex Paid Stable and Apex Free, Will show duplicate games, angrybird icons, etc.
Nonrooted users must contact me to get a direct APK, as the market APK will not work with Golauncher, Apex Free, or Apex-Paid-Stable

Loving them on my xhdpi screen. Made a quick mtz of most of the icons from the zip if anyone is interested. Also attaching a zip of some icon requests
Edit: Updated mtz with uploaded request icons as of 14 Aug. Some icons I couldn't find ID's for but are in the file. I've used MIUI 2.8.10 for GNex Toro to lable. If an ID doesn't match the one your phone is using, apply the icon theme. Then using a file explorer navigate to data/system/customized_icons. In that folder are the icons not themed with there ID's. Then it's just simply matching up the icons and copy/paste the ID's.

I'm a pretty busy guy, so I've attached a PSD so you can make your own icons. If there are any current icons that you don't like for whatever reason, let me know, and I will TRY to fix them...
Here is the PSD so you guys can make your own icons. Also, the fonts I use for these icons are : 8Bit Wonder, 04b-03, and Feast of Flesh. I'm pretty busy right now so I'd love all the help I can get with these icons. I'll post some screenshots tomorrow to help those who don't know how to use photoshop...
Now time for the PSD tutorial:
Step 1: Open the PSD
Step 2: Design away!
Step 3: Merge layers
Step 4: Resize image to 128x128 pixels
Step 5: Save as a .PNG

I've created an icon for Airdroid. I don't think it I can create an icon that would suit your icon pack so I stopped there.

The icon looks pretty good nice job. However, the stroke of the item isn't supposed to be totally black. Its supposed to be the same color as the border, which is 1b1b1b. Maybe when enough community icons surface I'll add an extra zip to the op. Thanks again for contributing.
