[Q] A newcomer with a P970.

Greetings. I have recently acquired a LG Optimus Black P970, and managed to root it with the superuser thing (V20C). A friend of mine recommend ed me to use the CyanogenMod 7.2 (CM7,2), but he wasn't able to explain me all the advantages that doing this would bring me. So, could someone explain me what are the advantages on CM7.2, and how may I get into Recovery Mode without connecting the phone to the computer? Much appreciated.

My P970 Stoped after upgrading

Hello,
My Lg p970 dont working know,
after upgrading the android from 2.2 to JellyBam 12.20.11-p970-Full edition with cwm, without any problem,
but when i restart the phone, the phone stoped after starting, and nothing work (in the pic of jullybam) !!!
please help

Search for unbrick, or look in my noob how to.

and next time be a little cautious, look well before flashing
the thread said that it was causing bootloop(and may have auther problems)

Need help for rooting.

I got my hand on a LG Optimus 2X and I updated the ROM to ICS 4.0.4 using some LG soft,but now I wanna try other custom ROMs but I just can't root the phone.
I want so badly to try another ROM because I just dont like the Official ICS 4.04,but I`m a bit new to Android phones,I have spent many hours on finding a way to root my phone but without success.

I am a new in this forum but one thing I came to know that you should try search button before starting a thread...

[Q] How to install official 4.1.2 andorid on lg p880?

i have cyanogenmod 10.1 on my lg optimus 4x hd and my games lag...... i want to return everything to stock android rom 4.1.2, but dont know how. Can someone please explain how to do that. Thanks

Secondly, I suppose you didn`t make nandroid backup so flash kdz..

You DIDN'T search at all. Searching involves looking through the forums and opening your eyes. Don't be so lazy - everything you need is already documentet many, many times.
XDA is not a helpdesk for noobs - so stop acting like one and put some effort in.

I have been dealing with a problem on my lg optimus l90.(d415)
I have been reseaching for months but have not found a soultion:crying:
I can still go into download mode and facrtory rest, but when I try to use the lg flash tool in download mode , it fails.
Also, it won't boot into android 5.0.2. it just stays on the lg logo and doesn't do anything eles.
If anybody has a posible soultion, please let me know. I am very desperate.

I dont know best solution for u but I had several conection issues using flash tools under windows 10.. If thats your case a reboot on PC may help phone conect.. At least it worked several times with me..
