Success in ROOTING GT-S5830i

I recently bought GT-S5830i.. i am very curious on rooting my phone! But scared from bricking it!!
I jus wanted to knw if it works fully in case of CM 7.2Z

If you flash a custom ROM other than the retribution ROM, your phone will be bricked

There is no fully working CM7.2 for your Ace!
The only rom which is available for you is retribution rom!

So? Your main aim is to upgrade to upgrade to 2.3.7 or what?
Retribution Rom will make your phone faster than stock 2.3.6 anyway!

I can't get it. Im using kingdroid v7 and i think that rom has an snote but in my note it doesnt have it.

Try searching the ROM Thread for users who have had the issue, That's the best place to get the advice IMO..
I've had issues before with custom ROMs and Sammy apps..

Use framaroot
Use framaroot. You can find it on xda-developers.
I have rooted and unrooted my n7000 running ics and jellybean without issues.
I did not write it so thank the author.

Stock firmware

Anyone has samsung galaxy s gt i9000 stock firmware namely DDJVD and indian kernel????
