What is there to ask for? Use Google (or your favourite search engine) and search for pictures with the size 1440x1280.
I recommend http://www.wallbase.cc. There you can type in your wanted resolution and can search for wallpapers with at least these dimensions.

You also have an app of wallbase. Personally i like the app called backgrounds hd . Search it in the play store.
Install Zedge app. It help you find out many cool walls, excited ringtones, game...

Has anyone been able to find a website that has proper QHD wallpapers? The images I found look to be lower resolution pictures stretched to QHD resolution. Are there any good collections of true QHD wallpapers floating around?

i use zedge because it have a lot of wallpaper for free and even paid also.
also checked zedge
My app has some dark (and some weird) stuff included. And it's totally free, adfree and open source. There is not a huge amount of dark wallpapers, but maybe I'll add some more if I find the time.
