[Q] help!!! Main Version is Older

i used AlphaRevX to change my htc IS to S-OFF
afterthat i use hboot1.13.0000 to install to my HTC IS,
but my htc IS became S-on,
i tired to use my goldcard to install RUU_Vivo_Gingerbread_S_HTC_WWE_2.12.405.7_Radio_20 .2804.30.085AU_3805.04.03.22_M_release_187295_sign ed.exe
but hBOOT display "MAIN VERSION IS OLDER"
what can i do???????
Main Version is Older
VIVO PVT SHOP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.13.0000
RADIO-3805.04.03.27_M
eMMC-boot
reboot, GO TO SAME PAGE!!!

And to give an educated guessed answer on a question I don't know its a question: goldcard fail or try misc version trick which is explained in the downgrade guide.

Mate reuse Alpharevx Again and S-OFF your phone !!! will work then !!! then upgrade/downgrade !!!
Do not flash a higher H-Boot version other than alpharevx..... it will become S-ON Again !!!

Once you use alphax to s-off again your hboot will change from 1.13 to 1.09. From there if you're flahing a custom rom the hboot will not change. If you flash an official gingerbread RUU (official gingerbread Rom from HTC) then the hboot will change to 1.13 and you be s-on again.

And I would like to update radio but I dont know which radio am I currently and which I should update to ?
Also does HBOOT need to be downgraded ?

You have radio version 6.03.03 and your HBOOT is the Revolutionary S-OFF version so you don't need to worry about upgrading it.
Which radio version does MikRunny ROM recommend in the original post?

Well I'm kinda getting low signal coverage on this radio so I thought updating it would help ? Is there a list of radios somewhere? And how do I choose ?

Be careful when you flashing radios!
If by chance you flash a radio which is not suited, you may certainly brick your phone..

The 29 radio is good. Through fastboot method details are all in radio threads in dev section.

You need Blackrose for a reason.... and this can only be obtained thru having an unsecured boot image and Revolutionary S-OFF or Blackrose beta.

is there a Hboot 0.97.0000?
my friend just got a incredible s, she wants custom roms in it, but when i see the hboot its .97?
its S-off
soo can i flash roms right away ( after installing 4ext recovery ) or i gonna consider some things first?

If the HBOOT screen says VIVO and not VIVO_W then she has a IncS and with true S-OFF, then you can install a custom recovery and then will be able to flash custom ROMs. If the HBOOT screen says VIVO_W, the it is a Droid Incredible 2 and will need to go to that forum for a custom recovery and ROMs.

VIVO_XB PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
Or does it say ENG instead of SHIP?
In either case, I don't think it would be safe to try and flash the ROMs in this forum.

Is it possible you post a picture of the hboot screen (white screen) so that we can confirm a few things? If it is not a vivo then it probably won't be safe installing anything in our dev section

its VIVO_W XB PVT SHIP S-OFF RL ( she's a girl, sent me a wrong line )
i managed to flashed a rom using CWM Manager and installing recovery for HTC Incredible 2
then i flashed ViperINC_1.3.1.zip, a team venom rom
were a GSM country so in settings > more > "somewhat i dont remember" ... there are select list, i choose "gsm only"
everything works fine thanks guys!

HTC One HBoot 1.54 S-On and CyanogenMod11

Hi guys!
I have problem with my HTC One.
At the moment I have on my phone:
CyanogenMod 11
M7_UL S-ON
HBOOT 1.54
RADIO 4A.17
CID: HTC_032
VERSION: 2.24.401.1
INFOmodelid: PN0710000
I would like to return to stock. I was trying to use rumrunner to get S-OFF but it doesn't work.
htc1guru.com doesn't work either!
Can somebody help me and thell me what to do?

unfortunately this isn't going to work out with your configuration. you have 2
options:
1.) flash an unsecure kernel that's compatible with your ROM and retry rumrunner
(preferred and most reliable method).
2.) flash a different rom.
NOTE: No amount of messing around with su binaries and apk's is going to fix thi
s issue for you!!!.
