[REQUEST] Transparent Icon Label Backgrounds

Is it possible to change the icon label backgrounds on sense ui to transparent?
Specifically for sprint hero?

Yes, it is possible.
You can recolor all Icons of Hero.
But it's lot of work. I'll try it some times, but still didn't like it.
If you can play with Gimp and 7-Zip and have any time, you could try it.
The original Icons are black at background. You can make the black background transparent.
But then it looks awful.

this gave me an idea, but i was wondering when you say alot of work, are you saying you have to do each icon seperatly? or is there a common one in the framework and then the widgets to add on?

I think, we talk about the Icons above at the Bar with WiFi, Network e.g.
Or? If not, i must say sorry.
This icons are very very small *.png
Man of the icons are in the framework-res, some others are in the apps, too.
I want to do it, did about 20 icons. Now, I don't feel like to do it.
It's an awful and tiny work.

oh lol wow sorry, well yes its possible, iv seen 1x1 wigets with the transparent background, but the rest of the icons had the grey/black background...
im assuming that every app developer doesnt have to make it or add it in so it must be in the framework.. il look through quickly see if i can find it

This is definately possible.
Ahome is a program that allows you to do this and even change to any colour you want.
Just a simple process I beleive, it's a shame we couldn't take the Ahome application without having to use the whole program as it replaces your desktop a bit lke GDE.

Anyone have any custom Icon's they'd like to share?
I've searched google and haven't come up with much but maybe I'm not looking in the right places.

ADWLauncher help

Hiya guys & girls!
The latest update to ADWLauncher has made me sad They have replaced the Nexus one style button for the App draw with there own icon. I much perfured the nexus one look.
I've spent most of last night (Much to the disaproval of my other half) trying to find a theme that still includes the old style 'row of dots' icon.
So my question is does anyone know of a theme that still has the old style or knows of an icon pack that still includes it?

Well, makes me sad if you spent most of last night, trying to find a theme that still includes the old style...
Fix in 5 seconds:
"If you want the old icon design, download this to your phone and select it as icon when creating your custom shortcut."

It´s really hard to find in the Market, at least for me..
Search for "anderweb" you find ADW Launcher easier

change icons
maybe thats more then dumb. but how do i change the icons with the ADW-launcher. i used launcherpro till now

Menua > Add > Custom Shortcut > Make Shortcut > Clock Icon > Choose image from gallery/icon pack (In themes) > Ok > Drag to where you want it.

[Q] HTC Sense dock and status bar on CM7?

Im running CM7 and i love it for the speed but i'm not a fan of the dock or status bar, as a previous user on Sense on my HTC Wildfire i loved the UI and really want the dock bar and status bar on CM7. (note i'm not bothered about having any of the icon pictures changed).
1) If there is a mod to install that is cool with me and id slightly prefer it than a theme because from my understanding themes are less than perfect.
2) If i have to have a whole theme (i imagine i will) i'd prefer it to be for ADW but launcher pro is also fine. Take note the status bar and dock must be included and work, i don't care if the icons have been changed to the HTC icons or not.

(Ps. Before someone comes along and says have you tried searching the answer is yes however, I only found poor themes without dock bar. Also i am very busy currently so didn't have a lot of time to look in fact i barely had time to write this out. Anyway sorry if this is a easy thing to find but iv'e told you why i havn't found it).

You could try LP sense UI. It looks just like sense dockbar. It is a launcher pro theme. Just look for it on 4shared. I don't think it is available through the market. It won't change your status bar. You will have to look through cm7 themes and find one close.

The best way to get a Sense notification bar is probably to use the Ultimate Onlline Kitchen. Use the empty theme Mendozinas provides, add the Sense notification icons, and cook. You should be all set.

Thanks to you all I chose to use LP sense UI which works great and especially like that it brings the fake sense widgets with it. Will probably also use Ultimate Onlline Kitchen to gain the Sense notification bar. (Assuming that they don't interfere with each other but im guessing they wont.)

There is a link to it in my signature, if you do try it out, could you give me some feedback? I stopped working on it because nobody responded and I assumed nobody downloaded it. htc flip clock widget in sense 3.5

hi .. been searching a lot for this and was unable to find any answers .. Where is the flip clock widget in sense 3.5 . I have tried htcclock3dwidget.apk, worldclock.apk, rosie.apk com.htc.resources.apk , framework and SystemUI, Weather widget . I cant find the flip clock pngs in any of these. Can someone please help me out here. thanks

Those pngs will be in fusion\default\drawable\shared.m10 file. You will need to use m10editor to decompile/compile m10 files.

hi i checked it out.. thanks a lot for the hint .. i used your m10 editing script .... veerrryyyyy handy especially the separating dat and png file part. Really Nice. Anyways coming back to the point .. couldnt find the pngs for flip clock there too.. I found the pngs for the quicklaunch clock over there, but still no flipclock :-(
EDIT: In the fusion file after decompiling shared.m10 ... i got like millions of dat files and very few pngs.. 25 to be exact is that normal??

Personalize, more htc widgets, then weather clock.

Look for 0x000083b7.dat.png into shared.m10 file. If its not there then m10editor is not decoding m10 file properly. People are already facing this issue while decompiling m10 files of 2.3.5 base ROMs. This tool needs a fix.
