Anybody on here play PS3 online? If so, whats games?

thats pretty much it. A lot of games are coming out later this year like Socom and COD:WAW so I'm sure I'll be playing them as well

ok so i really like pc gaming, i prefer 1st person shooters, i hav a lot of games but kinda ran outa games
the last 6 games i completed recently:

cod 1-2-3 are ****, 4 (modern warefare 1) = was ok.. 5 (world at war) = great game but completed an nazi zombies gets boring after a while..

I wish they would just invest the money and come out with Counterstrike 2. I played CStrike so hardcore back in the day and everyone eventually just migrated to Halo and eventually MW and MW2. If they really want PC gaming to be back in style, they need a Counterstrike 2.
(and not a goofy Team Fortress 2).

You're thinking of Source and Source wannabes. They were going to revamp CS and release a version 2, but they ended up putting in resources to develop Team Fortress 2, which is basically the same goofy crap as Team Fortress 1 with updated graphics.

I love team fortress, but its nowhere near the level of counterstrike. And don't forget about doom 3 and the quake series, they're old, but good. Same goes for both the half-lifes. And as mentioned about, counter strike 1.6 and source

Counterstrike just really takes me back. There's so much nostalgia for that game it's incredible. I was a map designer back in the day...

fy_marsworld - iceworld-like map with a mars theme, hit the red button and the map floods with water
I loved that sh*t so much. I wish it came back better than ever. But instead we're left with it's hair-lipped brother Team Fortress 2.

If you have stalker -cop, you need to get the original, its much better. Just avoid clear sky, or pretend its a side mission for SoC

I definitely admire all of that!

Of you haven't played them yet you owe it to itself to play the entire halflife series.
Positively epic and that will keep you busy for a good 3 months, unless you're unemployed, then maybe 3 to 6 weeks.
Also... Portal!! Too short but also a fantastic game.

I've been meaning to ask. I have the game CD sitting in my car. I was going to donate it, but then someone at work and I started reminiscing about it. Do people still play? Are the games still awesome? Is fy_iceworld2k still around? Should I reinstall it?

I never completed the original Half-Life. Maybe I'll get around to it someday...
That being said, I got HL2 free with my ATI AIW 9650 quite a few years ago, and beat it in like 3 days. Got home from work one day, ate dinner, started playing around 6pm, and then looked at the clock and saw 3am looking back at me. HL2 is easily one of the best games of ALL time.

Yeah... missed the GT days... I was playing Gt1 and GT2, but stopped after moving out of my hometown for university... since then it was PC all the way...

I used to be pc gamer but due to my marriage 2 years and the responsibility that came with it I suffer from a constant lack of funds. Therefore I downgraded to a nintendo wii What I miss most on consoles are tactic shooters like Ghost Recon. They simply do not exist on consoles. Yeah there are Ghost Recon games on consoles but the gameplay is completely different.

I was for a while... i got really into rts' more specifically the total war series. Rome total war is still my favourite game of all time.

That's kinda sad... I swore to my GF that even after we are married, my first love is my PC. AND SHE UNDERSTANDS.

Yeah... I lost my calluses after I started working...all my guitars and my bass weren't touched for years... it broke my heart when I saw the strings rust... I just had to change them... so sad...

I really enjoyed Half-Life 2 and the expansions. Last PC games I played were MW, MW2, Crysis, and GoW in a fit of nostalgia. I'm gonna buy Black Ops!

Hmm.. my history of gaming goes something like this:
Pong -> Atari 2600 -> Intellivision -> (Quarter Arcade Games) -> Sega Genesis -> Nintendo -> Super Nintendo -> Dreamcast -> N64 -> then off to PC Games
Quake -> Quake II - Unreal Tournament -> Half Life -> Counter Strike -> Team Fortress -> UT 2002/03/04 -> Battlefield 1942 -> DC Mod -> Battlefield 2 -> Ultima Online -> Wow
Used to LAN and was able to get all sorts of free gear etc.
Nowdays.. playing on the PS3 casually - just started playing Black Ops - and oooooo boy do I suck at it Dunno wth happened went from MW2 to BO and its like I might as well be playing with Oven Mitts

Yea, a big time gamer from WAAAy back (I even have 5 classic full size arcade games incuding a Ms. Pac and a Star Wars cockpit).
Got em' all PC, PS3, 360, Wii, DS, PSP, and a bunch of other older and cool systems.
I prefer my games on a PC when I can, Just went through Black Ops about 2 weeks ago. Got a Kinect for Xmas, so have been screwing around with that, but, before that, was playing Super Mario Galxay 2, Epic Mickey, Read Dead and a few others.
I'm in the middle of about 4-5 games right now (not finished yet). My wife does not care for gaming and sometimes gives me a hard time but, she understands it. My 2 year old is just too little to grab a controler but, I figure by 3 and 1/2 I'll have someone to play with besides on-line.
Any shooter GTA, COD, or any game of the type, I will only play on the PC, I even waited the 7 months for GTA 4 just to get the PC version.
I have a Core2Quad @ 3ghz(Q9650), 4gb, GTX460 1gb card running Win7...runs almost everything at max that I dump at it.

i forgot to metion Deus Ex and Deus Ex invisible war, anybody played this series? its an unforgetable game, i feel like playing it sometimes these days

Best Video Game Ever

Comment the best video game you have ever played!

Here is mine -
Witcher 3
It's GOTY 2015, massive open world, great storyline, awesome graphics.

Dota 2, played over a thousand hours of it.

Can't tell, I played many games that are great. It's impossible to choose only one.

I like the look of the Witcher 3 but never played it. I love Left for Dead. Awesome game if you like zombie apocalypse stuff and shooters. It's fast paced and IMHO it has great team building exercises. LOL

All time favorite is and will be Fallout. Playing Fallout 4 atm - i love it!

My favorite game is Final Fantasy VII. The music and story in that game is amazing.

Goldeneye for the Wii. Nostalgia and very simple online multiplayer.

Fallout 4 should be the best game in my opinion with the most attractive plots and visual effect.

Half-Life series.

Mafia on Pc , the best

Need For Speed Underground 2

Borderlands 2 or Gears of War 2 lol

Grim Fandango - adventure the best in the world!

Bloodrayne. I never got to play anything but the first one, but it was hella fun. Got to use weapons and be a dhampire.
