ok someone help me understand please.

so let me get this straight, the leak is the official, and the rom still is broken, lol what was the wait for, just the kernel so the devs could just get their hands on it and make certain features work. damn they sure made everyone wait for something crappy huh, i guess thats life, the hero is prolly near its End of life then, they could care less they have evo to worry about. So what should we expect from this new RUU. I mean the ones who arent rooted and just use the RUU. If i do it to try it out will i lose root for now?

Yes, you'll lose root, possibly permanently.

I also doubt it. I think there is still gonna be some heavy community action for awhile. Heck, most people don't even come up for an upgrade till September at the earliest.

well im running damage right now i was thinking about unrooting then flashing the official ruu just to test but i wont anymore, i will just stay where i am at now. thanks guys

For what it's worth I doubt it'll be permanent too. However given that no one currently has any idea how to do it, it is a definite possibility.

Yep. I live up in Jersey Village and work down towards the beltway and I-10 West side and it was HOT today. Had to stand outside my car for 5 minutes while it cooled down after work before I left.

I certainly hope people don't just ditch the thing, I'm not due for an upgrade till april of next year now and I am not laying out buku bux for that EVO. Phone tech moves too fast to keep this crap up lol. I just hope we can get root back so I can get rid of this F'in sprint 2.1 ruu. I didn't want it, didn't ask for it. I tried it on the previous phone, this is a warranty replacement due to trying to go back to 1.56 without a backup. It was a "favor"...mmmhmm. I want DamageControl back damn it.

Am I crazy for taking a train ride from D.C to Sacramento ?

So I have never been on a train, but I like scenery and all. Am I crazy to ride Amtrak from Washington D.C. to Sacramento. It will take me a lot longer than air ride, but is train travel worth it ?

I'd rather travel by train than air, as long as you can get some mains power for your phone/laptop. The only thing that sucks is the money they expect you to pay for wifi....

Hey that's not an option and u think I havnt tried that? We've been going out for 3 years and half and we live together and she birches and complains.I don't give her enough attention or spend enough time with her.

It's not like redbull or amp or any other energy drink that's chalk full of caffiene. That stuff has tons of vitamins and niacin and other goodness. A girl I work with buys a morning drink from GNC, powder stuff you mix with a bottle of water. That and monster have dam near the same ingredients. Show me any proof that it's bad for you, please do.

I didn't mean it like that... what I WAS TRYING TO SAY... was if Sparky works all nite (usually does after a carnival closes as He must supervise the dismantling and packing up of the rides and game and food trailers. Also, He is only one of a few who work there that carry the necessary permits to drive said OVERSIZED TRAILERS). Did I clarify myself?

Sunday is one night I actually get a whole night's rest. Normally take a few benidyl and tylenol pm's, maybe a couple beers. Try to wind down at least by 9:00 pm. Wake up at 4:30 am and start my week. I really do have a problem with sleeping, I can't sleep, and it drives my wife nuts. She always wants me to come to bed with her and I can't sleep.

well ours do and they will use them and ours have tasers which i have been shot with twice in one go round lol! my teeth hurt for a week

Glad your away from it but unlucky, I guess most are on benefits anyway so no jobs, they're free stuff, and the adrenaline I guess , also to increase their 'rep'
