No stock rom is rooted i think. So you will have to root it yourself.

If you are on a stock ROM and want to root this is the closest you can get to a stock ROM with root.
Read this thread and download the relevant root kernel which you will flash with Odin. All instructions on this thread.

[Q] how to root without cf-kernel

Hi guys,
I want to flash latest stock rom available in my country but chainfire didn't release the relative kernel to make it rooted.
Can I root it flashing Notecore kernel instead of chainfire's?
Thanks a lot

Which stock firmware are you on presently? Could you post details from Settings > About phone?

Download PC ODIN and the desired stock firmware from dr.ketan's thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
The thread explains how to flash a stock firmware using PC ODIN.
Do not forget to thank dr.ketan after you have accomplished your task.
Thanks mate but I know how to flash a stock rom by Odin. I just want to know how can I root it without chainfire's kernel

After successfully flashing the stock Ice Cream Sandwich firmware of your choice, flash a safe custom Ice Cream Sandwich kernel such as SpeedMod K3-9 or K3-11 and flash it via PC ODIN. After this, you should be rooted and have CWM and Superuser installed on your device.
After your device reboots, a yellow triangle may appear, but do not worry! Download the app Triangle Away from the Google Play Store and it will help you get rid of that dreaded image!
Refer to the kernel development thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1673072
I hope this helps.

[Q] Stock Rom for Samsung I9070

I recently installed cocore kernel and flashed a custom Rom without backing up the stock Rom. now I want to revert back to stock Rom. where can I find the stock Rom? I don't want the stock kernel. I want the stock Rom.
thank you.
Download it on sammobile.com and flash it with Odin. Unfortunately you will lose everything on your phone and will have to root it again and reinstall CoCore kernel.
Or, you can try to flash a deodex rom (there are links on Frapeti's thread) using CWM recovery.
Good luck!

[Q] which one 1st? (C5303)

Hi,
I have stock ROM (ANDROID VERSION UP TO DATE) and stock kernal, and I want to change it. So my question are do I need to flash custom kernal first then flash custom ROM or other way around?
Just read the op of the Rom, normally your dev gives instructions.
But in most cases first flash the recommend kernel via flashtool, after that your Rom.

[Q] Do I have to root before CM?

I want to flash one of the Maclaw's Custom Roms.
I saw there were download links for Odin. So I thought I don't need Clockworkmod Recovery.
Does it mean I don't need to flash Rooted Stock Firmware before flashing CM with Odin?
You don't need a rooted device for flash CM because CM is after flash already rooted
