Now the phone has stuck at bootloop and i can get into recovery mode....any ideas??
forgot to mention..
all night it was on bootloop.....also tried to pull of battery....it starts all over....
How can i get in recovery mode....????
maybe...
i think i have cleared the boot part but not kalvik cashe and now it is on an continious bootloop and i can not get to recovery.....
Take off battery, take in battery, hold power and volume down till you see the second LG bootlogo, the blue one. Reinstall rom with non wipe, if you still get a bootloop reinstall rom using full wipe.

I have done that
I have already done that...I have changed many roms. This is the first time that something like that happend...If only i can boot on recovery mode...I have 3 roms with me...When i take off batery and i turn on the phone with volume dowm it keeps rebooting with ics on bootloop. It is not booting on recovery mode!

[Q] I need immediate help boot loop+CWM problem

I dont know too much about firmware, but my LG Thrill 4g is boot looping and staying on the lg logo screen and the homescreen buttons will illuminate. I can get into the Clockworkmod recovery mode and Ive wiped everything but the phone still won't start up. It isn't in usb debugging mode, and the hard reset is not working at all. Please can someone help me?

Yes I have, but removed it thereafter, okay it isnt bricked anymore, it starts up now. But since i factory reset it and am now trying to redo everything on the phone, it looks a little glitched, the text messages dont come through, i cant see the text on the menus and it looks to me like the phone itself is glitched, anything i can do? Maybe I didnt fix it prperly?
Are you trying to flash a rom? In your first post you said it isn't in USB debugging mode, is this correct?

Phone only boots into fast boot mode

I just flashed latest trickdoid rom on my ATT HTC one and it paused in recovery. I then had to go back to fast boot mode. Now I can't boot into my cwm recovery or reboot my phone. I can only stay in fast boot mode. I tried flashing using computer and fast boot mode but still nothing. Any ideas. Thanks in advance

Did you try re-flashing CWM from your PC? I had a similar problem a few nights ago. The CWM logo would flash up for a half second then reboot continuously. I could only get it into fast boot also.

Ya i reflashed from computer twice still nothing. And now it doesn't go anywhere. No fast boot. It just keeps rebooting. Trys to go to recovery than doesn't work.

What happens when you try to flash with cmd? Does it seem as if it worked or does it return a fault?

[PROBLEM=SOLVED] Unable to flash ROM in CWM

Here is the problem: the phone is only able to boot in to cwm. I dont know what happened, but the system got wiped. The process of flashing a ROM goes well but when i reboot the system is wiped again and it boots into cwm.
Is there a way to solve this problem with the phone only, because i dont have the necessary programs on my laptop to solve this problem in a different way, and i wont be able to download them for another week. I do have adb on laptop but i dont know if it could help the situation.

Try removing the battery then put it back in. Turn it on pressing power and volume up. In recovery choose reboot system.

Already did that, but the problem is that after reboot there isnt a system to boot into. So it boots in cwm.

It might be different with this phone, but the phones I've had with a blank system didn't boot into recovery, you'd either get a boot loop or just a blank screen.
I've had the recovery boot loop before and the only way to get out of it was to boot into recovery manually (rather than let it boot into it itself). Which meant removing the battery for about 10 seconds, then making sure when you boot into recovery you initiate it before it does itself.
If it is a blank system then I'd suggest just trying to somehow get a ROM on your phone to flash.
Did you not make a nandroid?

I tried to boot into recovery manually, but instead it booted into OS

Recovery limbo solution should be stickied.
How many times will an unnecessary full wipe etc. be advised?

[Q] Stuck (while doing a factory reset). Help needed.

I don't know if it takes this long for XperiaZ to reset. It has been more than 15 minutes but it is stuck at the screen I have posted below. Should I wait and if it's really stuck any workaround to the problem would be highly appreciated....
Bump. Sorry for bumping but need a solution.
Just wait. Phone is repairing itself. Must be some file corruption. Can take minutes, or even hours.....

Has it happened to you. If it stays the same even after hours is there a workaround? One more question, in what mode is it right now?
I'm rarely on any firmware long enough to develop any file system issues - nothing like a good flash with a full wipe to clean everything up
But I have read that it will eventually sort itself out.
Has it finished and rebooted yet?
Edit: It is in some sort of repair mode. Not sure if it has an official name.
If you cant wait, you can try flashing an ftf with wipe data unticked in flashtool.

Nope. Will Sony update service help. By good flash you mean flashing via Flash Tool?
Update:-
Guess What, I connected the USB and than pressed Volume UP + Power Button and than pressing Volume Down key and Sony update service detected the device. Will update the post soon.
Good luck, lets hope your data remains untac

Update:- It finally booted but it's too long for a factory reset. Thank You @shoey63.
No problem. If you have dual recovery, try TWRP next time. Cwm has a habit of corrupting cache partition on locked bootloader.

Noted. But I have a locked bootloader with no root. Will try TWRP only as dual recovery doesn't sound promising (I might be wrong).
