German & Russian Lite ROMs

Hi everyone, who have HTC Jade or also known as HTC Touch 3G!
Introduction: I glad to introduce my first modified ROM for this model. It will be "Lite" version of ROM, which contained minimum standard software. This gives us free place and improve performance. So and you install software which you want instead HTC vendors choice =)
Many thanks to udk for the Jade-Kitchen and OliNex-Team for Hard-SPL, cause without them I can't do these ROMs.
Why 2 ROMs, are they different?
No. At first I start develop only Russian ROM, because am natively from there, but right now I'm in Germany and, as I know from my friend, there are "deficit" with German ROMs =)
So, I decide make ROMs in parallel for 2 localizations. They are completely identical in content point of view.
Russian ROM v1.* based at 1.40.411.1 firmware
German ROM v1.* based at 1.40.407.2 firmware
Russian ROM v2.* based at 2.32.411.1 firmware
German ROM v2.* based at 2.32.407.2 firmware
There are little announcement: I want release also another one version "Sterile", which contained nothing 3rd party or OEM software, except Windows 6.1.
My strategy is not fast increasing version and build number, but stability.
So, right now many monstrous HTC components like Manila 2d, Office, Windows Media Player are in system yet. In general I a little bit learn about inside structure of ROM. I'm newbie in WinMobile and PDA devices. Jade is my first one.
I want receive more feedback from you about bugs, request some features and so on. It very important for developing and improvement.

Achat, this ROM based on ROM Without branding.
So, my ROM contained ALL origrnal stuff exept list of removed stuff, which i write at first post in this thread.
ROM contained melodies, just only which set as default:

2) - Likely no because no reason to do it. Jade work without it and if you need this tool - you can install it separatelly. Try to use search. For example I found ready packet here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=17203. Or I can send German package from ROM

Are there evident improvements in your ROM?
I have one certain problem with my Jade/Toch 3G:
Incoming call, the ringtone lasts a bit until I can hear it (see the light of the screen going on before), and when I pick up, there is about 1-2sec delay until the line is connected.

Still have the official one... Am wondering if I should give it a try... Mostly it would be because of the ringtone delay, this wake-up-delay...
Can you try yours please? Put the phone into "sleep" mode by pressing the off button, wait a bit and then call it with another phone. Hear the dailing tone in the phone and check the jade... I have a delay of about 2-4seconds... And as well the acceptment of a phonecall. I press the green button, but it lasts about 1sec until the line is connected.

Taking the plunge and trying this ROM build now... will report back with usability and benchmarks
EDIT: uh.... looks nice, but app compatibility with older WM apps is screwed in this build - SPB benchmark wasn't rendering correctly in places. So either this ROM build is crap or WM 6.5 build 23025 is crap... or both. Anyways raw benchmark figures (sorry too lazy to format ).. pretty much same as what I got with Dutty's R9, nothing special.

have used most of the roms to date and found them to be very good
working without having to load cab after cab
windows 6.5 may be crap but this chap puts a lot of work into his roms and after trying a few others Ill put pdaviet roms at the top of my list to try.
I know Ill not need to read 101 pages of fix this and that to be able to use my phone to make a call.

Yes the UC works - but I have quite a few cabs and the process is SLOW or hangs, even with multiple restarts and eventually Hard Resets
I ended up changing the folder name from Cabs to another so that it wouldn't work. Then installed my cabs manually.
The ROM is fast and so far no issues ....

Well I tested the rom on my phone for 24hrs and it is working fine. I changed the manila version and packages.
I have mailed the download link to all the users who were willing to test the rom. If you haven't received a mail from me, please pm me.
Base Os: W6.5 (24006)
Manila: Manila 2.5.20121412.
Packages: T-mobile Leo 2.10
Tweaks: Manila flip clock fix and Lock screen fix (The first time you lock the screen you will notice some lag, but after that every time it will be instant.)
Well as I said, with this rom, you can choose what you want.
No themes, applications, graphics driver (neo)…

1. Footprints does not work. You need to install Mort script for which the cab is attached in Post #9.

1.The rom does have the htc keyboard, but you said you will only have stock keyboard?
With the testing of beta v1 of the rom, there were some issues with installing other keyboards. In order for the rom to function properly, it was required for me to cook the htc keyboard.
2.Rom does not have any theme?
Choose the one you like. I recommend Condor GT black. Search on the forum you will get the link
3.Rom does not have any performance drivers?
Choose the one that you feel works best for you.
I highly recommend installing one of the drivers available from here,

I suggest neo_2007_3, but the roms works well with other drivers as well.
GFX boost is also great but it also drains battery a lot faster.
4.It does not have browser apart from IE?
You choose, which browser you want to use. Opera is highly recommended, but you can also go with sky fire, bolt, etc.
*** W6.5 & Manila 2.5 is not a supported OS for our device. So have some patience when operating them. ***

What about a pure, nice and clean 24001 rom with an always-updated and ready-to-be-installed .cab collection along?
This way, apps can be installed just as needed, and the overall performance could be way better.
Just my two cents.

Yes, i made a hard reset after flashing. I am from Czech republic and my provider is Telefonica 02 CZ.

I lost all my data on my laptop and it took me some time to get back to speed with the rom.
I have updated the rom to latest 24006 sys as well reduce memory a bit more.
I achieved that through deletion of some wallpapers,album_sample,ringtones,etc...
I mailed everyone the download link.

I would like to ask the guys who downloaded and installed the ROM to tell me what they think about the ROM, because I need some feedback so I can improve next ROMs.

This rom is good but can 7.8 (lite) full nokia apps

sorry but this is BAD rom
1st - it's 7.5 (no resizing of tiles....)
2nd - after flashing it hides the FORMAT/MAGLDR screen..

1st - it was released BEFORE there where system files for WP 7.8
2nd - flashing a custom rom can't block MAGDLR only if you updated something trough zune, or you ust did something wrong
