Thanks you two.
Any suggestions on how to get the stock boot animation back on here? Im not rooted anymore so i cant download ROM Toolbox again.
I went into the stock file explorer and deleted the pink swirl animation files that were savedthen powered off. When it was booting the damn pink swirl popped up again. Grrrrrr

try odin one click stock jf6 by designgears description. there are 3 ways to get in download mod. one should work for you if you follow to the letter.
With the phone off, hold the volume buttons down an plug the USB cable in. You should see some yellow sign/icon...that is download mode I believe.

I have a rooted US T-Mobile galaxy tab that was running a stock ROM and I was following the instructions on the installation guide page ( http://p1000.teamovercome.net/?page_id=64) and everything seemed to be going well through step 5 (I even received the green "Pass" box). And then on step 6 when the Tab started to reboot itself it got stuck on the recovery screen and did not reboot itself like it was supposed to. (I attached a picture of the recovery screen that it got stuck on).
At this point I really do not know what to do? I have tried to use the power button to select the "Reboot system now" to manually reboot but the power button does not respond. I can use the volume up and down buttons to scroll through the list but the power button will not select any of options. At this point I am afraid of letting it power off as I an not sure what will happen?
Can anyone help, please? I am going to keep it connected to the power outlet as long as I can to keep it from powering off.
Thanks for your help!

i get it...you're panicked so you posted in the dev section and not the q&a, but seriously, this should not be here. download the safe files and restock via odin and follow the tutorial. Read it 3-20 times through before you do anything so the steps stick in your head.
edit: it's been a long time since i was stock, but i'm pretty sure you didn't follow the directions if you have that recovery
Here is the info you should be reading.
So i upgraded my phone to KJ3 the first time went fine and everything was perfect...
Then i flashed Circle battery theme from I9000 because i didn't find any for Captivate then i reboot the system but the phone kept restarting on AT&T sign and then galaxy s sign and that's it so i entered to Download mod and tried to upgrade it again like the first time (KJ3 Odin one click) then all of sudden it gave me "fail" and every time i tried to go to Download mod there is non... like the image below
I tried holding + - volume buttons and plug USB = Nothing (Image below)
I tried holding + - volume buttons and power = Nothing (Image below)
I CAN NOT enter Download mod or Recovery mod
Where i live i can't find any JIG USB so it's not a solution for me
Is there any solution or did anybody have the same thing and solved it?

that probably is download mode
I am not sure, if this will help you as I cannot see your attached image (blocked at work)....
But if you cannot get into DL mode..but as you are saying its wierd, so I assume it colorful phone and colorful desktop computer? with a line " try using recovery mode"
than just plug your phone to your computer and ODIN will detect it...Happened to me..and I went back to Jf6....

[/IMG]I dropped by Asus ROG Phone II and the volume buttons are stuck inside. The phone is now stuck at the fastboot mode and if I keep the power button held then it still reboots into fastboot mode and for some reason I cannot select the start option too ( and cannot toggle options either because the volume buttons are smashed in ).
I attempted using minimal adb and fastboot but to no avail. It rebooted right into fastboot mode. I used the following commands -
fastboot devices
fastboot reboot
I cannot dislodge the volume buttons and cannot open the phone. Repairing it is not an option due to the quarantine. Need a fix very urgently, all my business is on my phone. Any help will be heavily appreciated.
Omg... it happened something similar to me, but with the time, the volume button it's going better. I was unlocking it just hitting it with my phalanx/midjoint of some finger (3rd, normally), and it worked.
Let us know how are you going. Try the hit in different directions/strength vectors... it sounds a joke, but it's true xD

Tried that already, not working, mine's smashed in for good. Need a software fix.
Hi, I have a Mi Max 2 that went really unstable yesterday. Was super sluggish and freezing, I rebooted and power-cycled several times during the day and at around 3pm it rebooted itself and got stuck in a boot loop.
Running the stock ROM and Nova Launcher, nothing funny on it.
It won't turn on and I've tried all kinds of button combos.
Long press power - reboots it (still into boot loop) Mi logo on screen then flash to black and then back to logo.
Long press power + Vol Down puts it into Fastboot with the rabbit and android image and then the phone turns itself off after about 30sec.
Long press power + Vol Up should put it into recovery mode but it doesn't do it. It just sits there with the Mi logo and nothing happens. (No flash to black just consistent logo on screen)
Have tried holding down all 3 buttons and still nothing, just the Mi logo static on screen.
Any Ideas anyone???
I tried to put the phone into fastboot and tried the Xiaomi Unlocker with it but it fails

Looks more like a hardware issue then software. Did you open it up and just look at the motherboard if there is something obviously wrong with it? It could be corrosion, rust, anything that is not normal.
