[METAMORPH] CYANOID2 for 5.0.7 [Beta1 5/30/10]

Please if you are using any part of my new/old theme (even if you recolored it ) in your theme, credit where credit it due people. I really hate coming here and seeing my work being used with out permission.
As promised here is a Beta1 for CYANOID2, This is a very light theme so far. More components will be themed as the day's go by.
This theme is to be used with Cyanogen 5.0.7 vanilla only, i currently do not support ADWluncher or LuncherPro.

@ everyone, thanks for the kind words! this is what XDA is all about. I've been working on a few more png9 files and editing a few framework images today. I will have a beta tomorrow night.

So far i have only been working with the latest Cyanogen rom. Not sure about others.

I'm a noob. Will it be easy to install? I have no Earthly understanding of how to make these themes work, and all the instructions I've seen just go right over my head.
Anyone know of any good video instructions?

framework works great in my hero using cm 5.0.7 b7..launcher crash.

Do a nandroid backup and try it...worked with my hero.

First off, all credit to Stewart1champ for his theme WATERMARK'D that I believe is the most polished theme there is period. After all the work of porting this to MDPI i really can't imagine how hard it was to create from scratch,hats off to Stewart1champ you are awesome....Okay,a lot of time went in to this so if you like,dislike,want something changed or another HDPI theme ported to MDPI please leave feedback. This is a flashable theme so I assume everybody knows how to do this by now if there is a demand I will make a Metamorph of it but right now it is for CYANOGEN MOD 6.1.0 RC-1 ONLY!! I use ROM MANAGER install from sd card method.Due to file attachment limits I can't even come close to showing you everything that's themed so believe me when I tell you it's a very complete theme.

I would be happy to re-size this for you I kinda like it myself but I need you to E-mail the author and ask he's got it right there asking you not to use his work.

It seems way too difficult to find a good looking flat black minimal theme for CM6.1 MDPI. Either of these would be awesome. :]

I love the theme! I tried it out before you officially released it and because I prefer the silver cirlce battery from Nitrodark, I tried flashing that. It worked except that it took away most of the other elements of the theme too, like the pull down icons changed to the nitro dark (which I prefer too) and it brought back the little android guys in contacts I didn't think that it would make a difference using that zip for this theme, but it did... Could you possible release a .zip for that battery that will work with this theme? Thanks again!

ya my girlfriend had this theme back on SC 2.9.2 and it worked great. on ED01 it just FC's a lot. she loves the theme though . it is really nice

I haven't updated my girlfriend's phone and she's been complaining about her youtube not working on our wifi and all types of other sh..stuff so i want to upgrade her from eb01 but there are no themes for the new roms for the ladies yet so we're all just waiting (those that have two fascinates)

Hi! This is my first CM7 Theme It started as a direct port from Sense 4, but, well, right now it doesn't look like it I'm still having problems decompiling the ICS apks and some other issues, mainly stupid .9 patches. So, well, not much have been themed and it doesn't really look like Sense 4, but I think it's kind of cool so I decided to share it anyway Also, the Sense 4 framework is HDPI, but I've taken some pngs elsewhere as well, so I'm not quite sure how it looks on HDPI. It's all a mess, really Also I've changed the theme style, so there MIGHT be some white text on white background issues, tell me if you find some
DOWNLOAD!
Changelog:
5/4: Initial release
6/4: Added icons in settings, fixed some text readability and added icons for a few apps
6/4: Even more readable text, pulldown looks a bit better, but is still not sense4 style, some icon fixes and probably some more I don't remember
8/4: Resized stuff from Sense 4 to fit MDPI, generally more sense4 feel. Lots of stuff I don't remember
9/4: Improved for HDPI and landscape, new icons for go sms, exdialer and maxthonbrowser, new clear notification button in pulldown, and prob some more I don't remember
11/4: Fixed white on white issue in manage applications. Also had to change popups to avoid black/black issue.
12/4: Fixed a black/black issue
13/4: Made separate versions for HDPI, thanks to jasonevil for telling me how Hopefully HDPI works now Changed textfield pngs
20/4: Minor update and only updated the solid MDPI version. Thanks to jasonevil for some improved graphics
12/7: Updated the rest of the versions like i did last time. Thanks to jasonevil, it really gives some more polish.
To do:
Fix bugs, improve stuff.
ALSO, I want to use the sense icons for third party icons which replaces system apps, for example if you use Go SMS instead of the system SMS app, I want you to have the sense icon for that anyway. This includes browsers, dialers and camera apps and similar. If you use such an app, please give me your package name

Thanks I haven't used sense in a long time, but that's mostly because I can't change LCD density without screwing up everything Also the new release is something different, for example it uses white menus

Have any1 of you tried this on HDPI? Could I get some screenshots?
The reason it's so bad right now, is because I can't get any of the apps to decompile :/ Therefore I cannot access some of the pngs without breaking the .9- patch :/ So, so far it doesn't have the semi trans statusbar, but i guess I could include it in next release. As soon as I get this working it will be improved, I'm sorry

I used http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1545595 because It's hdpi and not qhd but the statusbar background in there is not transparent, therefore I will try to download another Rom ;-)

[app] My themed ICS SMS (new version added)

update: i made a second version and changed the droid pirate to a simple black and white version with an ICS blue border. pics and download are below, just download LuciferiiSMS2.zip and flash!
i didnt like ICS's stock MMS/SMS icon and the little "man" when yours or a contacts image is blank.. so i took an inverted MMS and made the icon black system wide and changed the blank contact image to an android "skull and cross bones".
all you have to do is flash it in CWM.
thanks denverg; his inverted mms/sms and to ebs512 for getting me started and addicted to making themes.
below are pictures of the app in use and of the mms icon.
let me know what you think! leave some feedback!
