edit: but the other poster is right if youre looking for a gameboy/gameboy color emulator. gbc.emu and nes.emu are both written by an awesome programmer.
First of all , thanks for the replys !
luciferii : I'm looking for an gameboy advance emulator , not a color emulator ...
krackerjac : Yes , I also think that gameboid is the best GBA emulator for Android , but it doesn't work on my Nexus S ! It runs the application , but when I select the rom , the screen turns black , and then backs to the menu of the application ! And I have the gba bios !
Can you please upload the ROM that you are trying to play? My Gameboid runs fine on my NS, I'm playing Pokémon FireRed.
I actually paid for Gameboid long ago and it disappeared from the market. I found some APK's but none work on ICS. I'm desperate to start playing Fire Red on my phone again
I want gameboid too
i have gameboid 2.4.6 and it works on all ICS versions. i too bought it on the market to find it not to work.. so i found a previous version and it works great.. id post it.. but xda has rules about that. just find gameboid 2.4.6 and get your bios from freeroms.com (i get all my roms there too)

or you can get the "slideme" market (search it in google). Thats where the dev put all of his emulators after they were removed from the market. Almost all of them are free except n64oid
I'm using gameboid 2.6.2, does it very good on my phone!

When I click on my freshly downloaded SNESoid apparently it ask me to which ROM I want to download the games(I guess?) To? What do I do? I'm a decently experienced android user(1yr) but never used a game emulater. Please enlighten me and help.

Game Emulators require ROMs - digital images of the original game cartridge - in order to play the game. When the emulator asks you to pick a ROM, it's the same as inserting the game cartridge into the system!
If you're down with the whole "torrent" scene, just type "SNES ROMs" into your favorite torrent search engine; you'll find gigabytes worth of SNES games. Keep in mind that, legally, you are supposed to *own* the original game to legally play the ROM on an emulator. I doubt many people pay that any heed, however.
Once you've downloaded all the ROMs you desire, just copy them into a folder on your SDCard, and navigate there from the SNESoid menu.
Ah, OK that explains it. Well I was just curious how to get that up and running. Thanks a lot.

Hey ksizzle9,
I read something about using a WiiMote and bluetooth to play games on android phones.
I can't embed a url here so just search "wiimote android" on google.
I haven't tried it myself since I lack a Wii but it just might be really cool if you're playing emulated games. . .hard to play Mario with a touchscreen!
Peace.

Hey all. Thought Id start a thread up for all of us to compare notes with and say which games and the onscreen play work very well for the tablet. =)
Aside from emulators which work great. A game I just got to play and it works VERY well! I mean very smooth.
Pewpew - https://market.android.com/details?id=com.jyaif.pewpew
Geometry Wars clone, but plays SUPER good.
Zenonia2 - https://market.android.com/details?id=com.gamevil.zenonia2
Very good rpg, plays very nice as well for a 2d style!
Game Dev Story - https://market.android.com/details?id=net.kairosoft.android.gamedev3en
Build your evil game empire. The larger tablet screen helps!
Anyone else have some exceptional games to list as well?

Gun Brothers is pretty awesome on the streak 7
Anyone try a PSX, N64, or PS2 emulator, yet? Also, if you all have tried it, does the WiiMote Classic work with dual analog setting? (It always seemed to not register as dual analog on my Droid using Wiimote Controller app.)
I just got done playing yongzh n64 emulator. F-zero X plays well on it. The Analog on screen however is a lil over sensitive and seems to oversteer and so. But it does play for the 1st release of the app. =)
Also I have not tried a controller to android app yet, I should get around to that, what works the best? PS3 or Wiimote controller app.
I just got dungeon defenders. They have a special version for the t2 chip. The graphics are pretty sick

Also in the market is an app by NVIDIA called the TegraZone which features games that are tailored for the T2
Ooooo I just saw that game on steam and wanted it, Awesome I can play it now then. ^^
Samurai II plays very well
Anyone gotten the wiimote app to work with their streak 7? Can't seem to get mine to configure. Says it's recognized and linked. However doesn't do anything.
And a good game that I found thanks to AOTS is Cordy. Free on the marketplace

Yes I have, I was using my classic controller to play Fzero-X. =D Just gotta follow the XDA thread on it to properly set it up. Gotta select in Input options in Settings of the Android menu itself the Wiimote IME and so. Then sync up. Does indeed work.
Btw More games to play.
Flight Control
Dungeon Defenders
Crazy Snowboard
And while not a game per say.
Xbox Live Statistics works GREAT with the Tablet size and interface. =)
Zen Garden is nice!
Splode
Asphalt 6 HD
N.O.V.A. HD
Let Golf 2 HD
Highborn
Bejeweled 2
Spider-Man: Total Mayhem HD
lol i have alot
Are you saying you have NOVA on your S7?
I pulled the apk and tried to push it on my S7, when I started the game the gameloft logo came up then it goes black.
Can you tell me how you got it to work?
You need the Attrix version
Can I do that somehow from my S7?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
You need a pc and visit gamelofts site and put that as your phone version.
I must say, every game in the Tegra Zone app is a must have!

Does the analog work for the Wiimote Classic controller? I purchased one just for this, but I haven't gotten a Streak 7, yet (waiting for my Verizon contract to expire).
Hey all, I've been trying to find a compatible gba emulator and bios for both tiger gba and/or gameboid. I've used about 4~5 bioses and emulators and the most I've gotten was a black screen, then back into the rom selection screen. Im on serendipity 6.2.3... What gba emulator do you guys personally use, that works for your cappy?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
Gameboid is the way to go. As far as the bios Im not sure if xda allows linking one. If you have a gba emulator on your pc and its working the same bios should work. Also make sure the roms work. I would try a few if you do not have gba emulation set up on your pc
google is fricking amazing!
Google doesn't like my repeated searches on gba android bioses and their synonyms
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
theres nothing android about the bios you need. gba bios is what you should be searching
Use rom gripper from the market. Not only can you get a working bios but it will make looking for.roms easier.
all of that info, available on google.
K I searched on google for the past 2 hours and still no luck. Used every gba emu, bios and combination there is and still won't load.. Is it cause I'm on serendipity? If you can send me a copy of your personal bios/rom thru pm, that will be so helpful...
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
Like someone else posted earlier, use ROM Gripper.
I have been finding ways to play PsX game on my phone, but is seem that our phone is not supported. Is this true?
More like you haven't found any way at all... in any case if you do find a way I'd love to hear about it.
Try FPSE or psx4droid?
I've had the psx emulator working, not the best gaming but ok

FPSE works great!
Try FPSe and download something called gamehunter! they work together like milk and cookies! g00d luck
I've been downloading games for my X8 with KuyaDroid v.3.2.175 installed. Some games work, some games don't. I have a really slow Internet connection, so trying every game out there isn't the thing for me. I managed to install Beats and PES 2011 on it. Can you help me find some games that will fully work on my X8? Thanks in advance, and happy holidays~
sorry for off topic, but why dont u use kuyadroid version 4? its in kuyadroid thread page 106 (something in that range)
just suggesting...

Thanks for your suggestion. I'll try that later, since I really have that slow internet connection. I'll wait for some games to be recommended first. If there's none, I might consider upgrading.
