I posted the question in another thread but got no answers... So here is my problem. I normally update my market (google play store) by quitting pressing home button. Since now i had never encountered with a problem. But I can not update to 3.5.15 no matter what i do. So i checked the applicatons. My market updater is 0,00 kb. Is that the cause of problem or can be another thing? I am a little obssesive. I can not get out before i solve this. So help! It's a beautiful day.
Can anyone at least tell me if their market updater is also 0,00 kb?
Yes it may be the cause, mine is 12,x kb i ll upload it for you

Thanks man. Market feedback thingy is 0,00B too. Can i also have that?
What rom are you using btw? Maybe just reflash it without wipes...

Using v20b. Couldnt solve the problem. I am open to fresh ideas. Will save the reflashing to last. May be there is a simpler way. Why wont my marker update? Anyone?

Save everything with titanium backup and rreflash, then restore. This will take 10 minutes and now you are already working on it for like some hours... so save time and reflash it ;-)

I am back. I don't wan't to reflash because after that i will have to remove useless apps again. I wanna ask another thing.
i don't have the anything with "vending" in system/app i only have "com.android.vending-1.apk" at data/app. Isn't this weird? Isn't that a file supposed to be at system/app?
For the love of god people! Can't just some one tell me what is the market apps name and where it is located? It should be like "vending.apk at system/app" or something. Is this that hard??
I am just trying to isolate the problem. So i can solve it and if it appears again i wouldn't have to reflash over and over again. And if i can solve may be someone else can benefit in the future.

If no one ask, do research by yourself, no one has a market/play update issue before, relax you will have it.

So basically you are saying you are not gonna help. It should be very hard to use a root explorer and look what it is. I am truly sorry for making such a request. Very spoiled of me.
Yes research...Sure, i that's what i am gonna do. Can a moderator delete the thread please. I will flash a rom and find it myself. Thanks are in advance to whoever deletes it.
The application APK name didn't change it's still vending.apk just that the application name is now Google Play or Google Play Market instead of Google Market.
Unless you use an application that integrates updates into the rom, like for example Titanium Backup, then you're "new" market will be in /data/app and will probably be called "com.android.vending-1.apk" like somebody already told you.
If you can't wait for it to upgrade, you can always install the package from [UPDATED 16/3] Google Play Store 3.5.15 APK
I for one didn't wait for the update since i know usually Romania is one of the last to receive updates so i simply installed the APK from the above thread.

To those who needs a solution to insufficient space try this:
Go to data/app/ and delete com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup.odex. After that just install TB from market normally, no need for full data wipe.
I found this in a Motorola defy tread so thanks and all credits to you
I haven't had this issue for a 2-4 months so if you get it please report if this works.

Never mind, thanks a lot to those who answered, the real issue was that i really had insufficient space -.- i feel such a noob right now.

Why you are showing attitude ? I just gave you the advice. Since this has nothing to do with this thread(as you claim) them simple ignore it. calm down. Maybe someone would help you in the meantime.

Its not attitude
i just dont understand what the logic in answering something that never been asked
just reboot and try again.
If that doesnt help, go to settings, apps and clear data on the game,
if that doesnt help, clear data and uninstall, reinstall and try again.
When downloading, do not switch medium wifi or mobile Internet.
and never show attitude when someone is trying to help. I have seen this guy and he can teach you a thing or two so be respectful please

if above doesnt help, download the emmc check app @nd check your partition is not corrupt
if its not corrupt check in settings storage if you have enought space, perhaps do that first

google play is downloading the data not the app itself its not installed already
odd, I would have expected like the 6 version to be ingame download. anyways you can do same for google play, just dont uninstal it
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
well i found the solution
go to google play in the computer not on your device!
and download the game from there
Solution: The file you are trying to download is larger than the space available. Move/Delete files from internal memory large enough to download the file and it will work.
Asphalt 8 required 1.55 GB so you need that much space free.
I had this problem a few days ago. When I'm choosing to install an App from an APK-File, the Installer opens, asks me if I'm ok with the rights for the app. Then there are the two Buttons "Cancel" and "Install". But I just can't press "Install". It's not greyed out.
Last time, I just deleted data from the Installer and rebooted. This fixed it at least for one installation, because I didn't install any other app. Actually it was the Amazon Market Place.
Does anybody have the same Problem? I'm a little confused, because it had worked. But, when I tried to solve the problem as described above, it just didn't work again..
I also didn't find an issue which looked similar to this. Even updating the Firmware didn't help..
Any suggestion?
Settings/security/ check unknown sources
If that doesn't work then the apk file is not signed

Better than not being able to update apps! Just backup the app data before deleting, then delete, then update app, then restore data.
It's also the only solution I have seen posted for this issue.

Hi, im a new root user and a while ago I added some SWAP to my device and ever since my apps have not been working correctly. On apps that require some sort of login (like on social media), when i try to log in the app crashes. Now I'm not sure what causes this. Apps that have like a built-in browser crash whenever it opens. Google Play services also crash and i cannot use the google play store or anything. If someone could please help It'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try to unswap it, probably can fix your device.
I've tried that too, it didn't do anything. When i added some swap, it deleted some apps too like Chrome, so could it have deleted or corrupted some apps that manage something like multitasking?
Hi maybe you could find your rom in web couldn't ya?
