Tip #1: Switch between Tablet/PhoneUI, the easy way..
o get tablet mode on ICS Stunner, please follow this steps:
Settings > Euphoria Control > General UI > Switch Tablet/PhoneUI > Custom > 200 (Tablet) > Reboot.
After Reboot, go to Apex Launcher Settings and set grid size to 6x6 or 6x5 to enjoy full screen accommodation of icons.
If you still don't get Tablet Mode, that means your device isn't rooted properly and you need to clean install this ROM.
It is important to follow the steps mentioned there carefully.
Tip #2: Getting vibrant colors on screen.. the awesome AMOLED
Settings > Galaxy Note Settings > Screen Tab > Mode > DYNAMIC
This setting would give you stunning vibrant colors. Try it.

Is video camera working and saving videos? Cuz thats like the biggest issue for me on all the other roms.
I read the first post, but wasn't sure on one point regarding the phone/tablet versions. Does this mean that the tablet ui version only has the tablet ui on it? Meaning I could not manually edit build.prop and change dpi to kick it into phone.

You can change DPI just by editing the /system/build.prop with Root Explorer
It works on every rom (aosp aokp miui...) so this should work here too
Great too see yet another nice build. Will see if I can get some time to spin it.

It should not be, because it is built upon the existing ics from imilika, which does not have working usb host/hdmi out (correct me if I got that wrong).
I don't think it works on any of the ics roms atm until we get a better leak or a true release.

future plans: Trigger theme, custom wallpapers, more customizations. In time.
build 14 - 7/20
-newest changes from cm repo as always
-added an LED toggle (your kernel has to have this feature, so it may not work for you)
-added bloater, preinstalled, open it and you can install a gps config that will make your gps msbased, and more settings (better/faster locks)

-re-added custom battery mod settings in tweaks
--can toggle on/off every element & customize it, just play with it
-as always, synced to newest cm changes
note: anything you see greyed out in the CM Settings that you think shouldn't be, it likely means I've replaced those functions and the settings are in the Extra Tweaks setting. I did this in order to avoid any conflicts with the CM code :). It wil never be less functionality either, only more.
build 9 - 7/6
-based off CM7 now for more features and awesomeness!
-no theming or aesthetical change (maybe some custom wallpapers later, but I'm not a themer)

-hid tweaks in app drawer
-added ability to toggle between H icon and 4G icon in tweaks settings
---BUG! it will do a soft reboot on you when you switch it. it's also likely that you may have to do a hard reboot after that to get data back. this will be fixed in the next release :)
-upgraded faux's kernel to 0.2.7 & other fixes (check github histories for extended info if you like)
-decreased padding on statusbar elements so it looks less wonky
-I think that's it, spent a couple hours working on getting github worked out properly last night!
build 4 - 6/30
-initial public release
You should know
If you have Gingerbread bootloaders, you will not be able to access your external SD card & possibly some other bugs
GPS is half ass working. It is just like the JVP GPS fix. It works sometimes, other times it does not. I will include a NON working GPS kernel by default in order to avoid any potential battery leakage. Flash GPS enabled kernel at your own will.
Having battery drain issues? GPS is a likely culprit. Use my "Disable GPS" in Extra Tweaks function!
FAQ
Q: Can I flash an upgrade without wiping data?
A: Sometimes it's okay to do so, but other times it will conflict with the new updates. Best bet is to do a CWM backup, and a Titanium backup before you try anything if you don't know what you're doing. If you run into any issues or funny behavior, just do a data wipe.
Q: Sometimes my GAPPS are missing, why?
A: Everytime you flash the ROM or an upgrade to it, you MUST flash the Gapps package. It takes an extra 3 seconds, don't complain! I try and keep all upgrades on ROM Manager, you can have it install the Gapps for you right after it installs the ROM.
Q: Ok, but how do I avoid having to sign into Google?
A: When you flash an upgrade, be sure to flash the gapps while you're still in recovery before rebooting. That way you will still be signed in. So, flash the ROM, then flash gapps without rebooting.

Trigger - 8/22 -- includes gapps
Google Apps - 7/29
Flash both, or use ROM manager to install!

Change Log
Features V.05Build 25
-added optional dBm text display which will replace your signal bars

-added warning to weather when no location can be found
-added trackball alert

Updates from Build 24
-Added lockscreen wallpapers
It seems that there is an interesting bug with Lockscreen wallpapers. Every once in a blue moon, your device may do a 'soft-reboot'. I can go into the technical details of why this happens, but basically it comes down to displaying a large 'picture' and Java/Android not correctly cleaning up the references to it, thus creating a memory leak. This is extremely rare it happens, and I've only noticed it happen while the device is NOT being used. If you're concerned, please just remove the lockscreen wallpaper and it will never happen to you. I'm trying to find a way to make this 100% stable.

-Added airplane mode toggle to power menu

Known issues:
1) Colors in the panorama picture may not be the same as what you see in viewfinder.
2) Sometimes screen has some garbage while in Panorama mode viewfinder. Quitting completely from the app and restart or invoking Gallery from inside the app and returning back to camera app should mostly fix it.
3) barcode scanner does not work.

I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by scott.hart.bti based for the Samsung Infuse. You get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with scott's current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

Instructions for porting Beanstalk
Setup to build - This section can be skipped if youve ever built anything before. This is for first time build setup.
1. From your root terminal location, type the following: sudo apt-get install curl git-core gnupg flex bison gperf libsdl1.2-dev libesd0-dev libwxgtk2.6-dev squashfs-tools build-essential zip curl libncurses5-dev zlib1g-dev sun-java6-jdk pngcrush schedtool g++-multilib lib32z1-dev lib32ncurses5-dev lib32readline5-dev gcc-4.3-multilib g++-4.3-multilib
2. Type: mkdir ~/bin
3. Type: PATH=~/bin:$PATH
4. Type: curl https://dl-ssl.google.com/dl/googlesource/git-repo/repo > ~/bin/repo
5. Type: chmod a+x ~/bin/repo
From terminal
1. type 'cd'. This will bring you to your root folder.
2. type 'mkdir beanstalk'. This will create a folder named beanstalk.
3. type 'cd beanstalk'. This will take you to the beanstalk directory created from previous step
4. type 'repo init -u git://github.com/scotthartbti/android.git -b cm-10.1'. This will setup the folders to be synced.
5. type 'repo sync'. This will sync the folders to your beanstalk directory. Note - This will take some time depending on internet connection. Be patient!
6. After the repo sync finally finishes, all you need to do is add your device, kernel, vendor specific files for the device you are building for. (You must know what these are, dont bother asking me if your not sure.)
7. Make sure all your device specific files are setup as if you were going to build for CM.
8. Outside of terminal, navigate to beanstalk/vendor/cm. Double click on the get-prebuilts file and select run in terminal. This will fetch necessary files needed to build and place them where they need to be.
9. Type '. build/envsetup.sh && brunch "device name"'
10. Previous step will start building beanstalk for your device. The process takes anywhere from 1 - 3 hours depending on your computer.
11. Once completed, it will say package complete and you will have a beanstalk named zip file in your out folder.

It's using the 5/30 cm10.1 nightly device files so I don't think it will. We just have to wait for that bug to get fixed on cm.
I will be making new builds when significant cm changes are made! :good:
EDIT: It looks like the problem has been fixed! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42067121&postcount=285
I'll have a new build up for tomorrow.

I read in the CM10.1 nightly thread that people were experiencing a black screen after flashing. Is that what happened?
What ROM did you flash from? And what kernel are you using?
I came from task650's AOKP and am using KT's latest kernel.
I came from darthstalker running att apns running kt tw kernel yours booted right up no issues
Edit: I DIDNT MEAN your rom wouldnt boot a nogo just about the headphone call not working yet

Just to let you know, I'm still working on this build.
I get an alert saying "Unfortunately, the process com.android.Phone has stopped." with the latest build.
I did a full wipe so I don't know what's causing this.
Anyways, I am rebuilding it as I type this, so hopefully that problem will be gone.
Loving all the features, and not too many FC's, but there's a problem when I make a phone call, it doesn't go through, then FC. Once that gets fixed this will be the perfect ROM.
As of now, the only bugs I know of are the BT and headset phone audio.
I was hoping that today's build would fix that, but when I boot it up, I get an error saying, "the process com.android.phone has stopped."
I have asked around to see if I can get any help with this issue. But for now, I'll just keep the 5/31 build up because it seems to be working fine.

Can you provide a logcat?
I just tested the phone, and it works great...no FC!
What apps were FC on you?
I suggest doing a complete wipe (format data and cache too).

Really? Whenever I would make a call, I would not be able to hear the other person, and they would not be able to hear me, and then after they hang up it would freeze, and after a couple seconds tell me that the phone had stopped working. I'm going to go ahead and do a complete wipe and flash the rom again. Hopefully it works.
Also, it only happened twice when I was on the ROM, but randomly while I was using it, my phone would say, "Unfortunately, the process com.android.Phone has stopped." I just pressed ok, and then restarted my phone and it would work.
I'm going to try and reflash the ROM, hopefully it works this time.

Trying this one out on my old Vibrant. So far, performance is smooth and truly full featured when it comes to customization. I once had a little issue with the dialer where the End call button did not want to work, I then turned on Airplane Mode, and when I tried to turn it off, it didn't want to highlight the button although others worked just fine . I proceeded to clean both caches and so far that bug hasn't reappeared. Will keep testing.

Yes, clean flash (as in wiping all caches and partitions including /system) before flashing. Also nope, no mods or alternate kernels flashed. Oh yeah, and I found that the screen color/gamma settings do not stick after a reboot.

thanks for the info i'll look through the og thread that i ported from and see if i can find some answers/solutions for you.

Thanks. Don't worry, things like that happen, I just hope the first one I reported doesn't reappear since the phone's not with me for now and the person's only used to how Jelly Bean (and up) works.
Issue: Videos wouldn't play. Not YouTube, not another video app. Not over cellular data, not over Wi-Fi.
Solution: I found that by changing the kernel to the "v" version of Semaphore instead of the "sv" version solves this problem. Just a heads up.

yeah i was aware of that, its just that i like the performance of "sv" over the "v" version. if yall would prefer a different kernel with this rom just speak on it i' ll take it in to consideration. thanks for pointing that out though im sure some people will run in to that issue and not know what to do, now should be easier for them unless they dont bother reading any pages of the thread lol.

C-rom 5.7 in now up, added changes to channel log in op. enjoy folks! as usual report what ever bugs yall may find and i'll try my best to help out with what ever issues may arise.
C-rom 5.8 is up, op updated with changes so enjoy folks. removed semaphore 3.4.3 sv for 3.4.3v instead to resolve video streaming/playing.
5.9 is now up, let me know of any issues that yall may run into.
UPDATE:replace the mms.apk in 5.9 with a previous version or from any other 4.4.2 rom as it will lead to mms crashing after recieving a text, i just ran into this issue after running 5.9 for 3 days straight.
6.0 is now up! mms bug is still present in latest update when receiving a text will make the app crash so i swapped out the apk from 5.8 instead, it was the last release i know of that this problem didn't occur so i hope this helps resolve the issue. changes are in the op so enjoy yall and like usual report what ever issues yall may run into...
LMFAO spamming my own thread haha:laugh: on a serious note, 6.1 is now up updated channel log as well as op enjoy.

Many Thanks. Awesome! Its working! But there was a really cool viking dude on the nexus 7. the Viking Dude!? How about that? :silly:
-back button sends me to google now. Dont know if thats a feature or what.
I'm probably a less technical user than many. But here's my $.02.
The navigation bar customizations are huge. Once you get used to having a "last app" button there's no going back.
I got non-stop Google Keyboard errors which I worked around by using voice to install Swiftkey. I don't use Google Keyboard anyway because there's no split layout.
The back button goes to Google Now because of the navigation ring. I disabled that too.
I haven't grasped the mystery of how themes behave. There are often subtle differences from one ROM or device to the next. In this case with SUBZ3ER0 I can see the text on my Gmail widget and in Google Voice where often it's black-on-black. I have no idea if that's because of some deliberate change, but if so that's great. (And if it's not, it's still great.)
I recently switched from an Xperia tablet Z and was missing a lot of the customizations. (On the bright side I've been wasting less time constantly flashing different ROMs.) This is very nice.

Thanks for the feedback, I will try to address theme over the next week. I think we need some overlays for this tab DPI
In the meantime, you can adjust the navi bar size in Settings/Interface
For me, adb over wireless crashes settings. Using rom toolbox pro instead. So far so good otherwise.

Sorry, poor word choice. I meant that the navigation bar customizations are "huge" in the sense that they are very significant, very helpful. There isn't anything abnormal about their size. It took a while for that to click before I realized my miscommunication.

Was it B66? Thought I flashed that already. It works now. Thanks.
Brickmaking
Dumb question - does the term "brickmaking" on the download site mean that it's just very experimental and risky or that brickmaking is the expected outcome?

I'll remove that tag today
It means it's experimental with a higher risk than usual. 4.4.3 builds look stable
Hey I'm looking to flash the latest nightly. Can someone confirm dock/keyboard is working?
Any known instabilities?

It's been great for several days. I was getting random crashes on various apps on 4.4.2, sometimes a bunch at once, but it hasn't happened in the past few days. I need to stop being lazy and read about how to save log files and what to do with them. There are other variables. I was using ART and using a lower resolution. Either way it would take a whole lot of crashes to negate the huge benefit of the last app nav bar button. It's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Better than that. I'd rather tear my bread apart and eat it in chunks than lose my last app button.

and..
Does this ROM support ART runtime? Also, still no support to exFat file system, right?
It could my imagination but after the last nightly this seemed exceptionally responsive and fast.
