Hello. I working on Expresso theme for Sense 2.1 rom. I use graphics from MyTouch 3G Slide. I test theme on HTC Hero and HTC Magic. Theme should work with, HTC Hero, Magic, Droid Eris, Legend Android + Sense rom.

Reflash rom and remove HtcLockScreen folder in theme folder. Next apply theme. Will be ok.

Theme working with mdpi devices. HTC Desire have HDPI resolution. If the theme will be popular, I try do theme for HDPI devices.

First of all you must extract this theme:
Metamorph->checks->Unzip/Extract new Theme->Choose the theme file->wait (Metamorph will exit)
After this:
Metamorph->Checks->Pick existing theme->choose a theme->select VatSense.xml->close->Apply all
in case of rebooting required, select yes.
Your phone will reboot and the theme is applied.

Using on my Hero. I love the espresso roms, but some things don't work when ported to the Hero...
but your theme gives me the best of both worlds, I get Hero ROM stability, and the looks of espresso!

Oryginal Expresso color is Blue. Full wersion have original color. This is metamorph package.

But you think if is not to much or is wanted by more you could do a espresso to sense theme?

This will be the first time in a long time I will be flashing a theme. Thank you so much for this great theme. It is so clean in so many ways it looks amazing. Keep up the great work.

Revolution Theme Edited for IncS Virtuous Unity 2.3.5

The Revolution Theme present in the Virtuous Unity 2.3.5 rom has Desire Hd Signature on the notification bar .. i just removed the Desire Hd signature from the skin .. All credits of this skin go to he_stheone64 .

I modded the framework and the status bar icons with the latest framework-res.apk file included in the latest patch . so that modding these files doesn't affect the backlights or crt .. everything works perfect

Installation :
Theme Installation :
1.Go to personalize
2.Go to skin
3.Delete the previous Revolution skin
4.Make sure you have copied the apk to your sd card
5.Access the sd card with any file manager and install the apk and you are good to go
Framework and status bar icon mod installation:
1.place the .zip file in the root of your sd card
2.Enter recovery
3.Install .zip through sd card

can i flash it on 2.37?

Doesnt work with VU 2.39
I tried to install on VU 2.39 and it didnt boot anymore. Then I wiped everything, flashed VU 2.39 again and directly after it I flashed the Mod. Still doesnt boot. It stays stucked in the VU logo.

Don't think it will arhd 1.1.8 is sense 2.1 and this theme is for sense 3

After Downloading, Rename it to bootanimation.zip. [some ROMs may contain its name as htc_bootanimation]
Search in your /system/customize/resource folder by root explorer , ES file explorer for your the appropriate name
After naming its time to push the bootanimation.zip to the targeted folder.

INSTALLATION GUIDE :
1. By ADB
1.1 - adb remount
1.2 - adb push C:\bootanimation.zip /system/customize/resource
1.3 - [C:\bootanimation.zip] This is the location where you stored the bootanimation on computer
1.4 - [/system/customize/resource] This is the target folder
1.5 - adb reboot
1.6 - Done
2. Using ES File Explorer
2.1 - Open Settings , Select Root Explorer and Mount FileSystem as writable
2.2 - Copy the bootanimation.zip file
2.3 - Browse to /system/customize/resource [or the directory where bootanimation is present]
2.4 - Paste bootanimation.zip
2.5 - Reboot
2.6 - Done

Are the effects slow in the bootanimation or is it only on my phone i'm using xxxpachaxxx 's runnymede v 2.1.1 and i used the es explorer step to install the bootanimation....if it's only on my phone can anyone suggest a fix plzzz ?

Hi Guys/Gals,
ABOUT:
Ok like many people out there, I am an Assassin's Creed nut so I decided to make a boot animation for my android.
I did this using the stock ICS boot animation as a backdrop with a blood red hue. and then blurred it out to make it look slightly out of focus. I then created an Assassin's Creed Logo in 3D and then gave it a dirty crystal look so the blood red backdrop shows through a little. I made it only spin once because I didn't want a tacky unfinished look (animation stopping halfway through etc.). and on top of that long animations only slow down the boot time of a fast device. I added a delay of a second on the end to just show the logo on a black background while the system loads.

INSTALL INSTUCTIONS:
It is built for the HTC Vivid/Raider/Velocity at a res of 540x960 however I am led to believe it will work on any device.
- Download the Boot Animation
- Rename the Boot Animation to bootanimation.zip or Telstra_bootanimation.zip (if you are running the Stock Telstra Rom on a rooted phone).
- Use ADB or a GUI app like Droid Explorer to copy the file over the existing bootanimation.zip and then reboot the device.
- Enjoy.
FINAL WORDS:
Boot animations take time to create (when your not just splitting up frames of a video etc). So if you like it, please give Thanks.
Depending on the feedback I receive, I might do a few more animations as well.

A couple of questions...
How are you trying to replace it? (what are you using to actually replace the file?)
Have you got /system mounted? Some people have to load into recovery and mount /system and while still in recovery they flash the files from there.
Maybe your phone is not rooted?

If on root explorer you have to change from read to write on the top right corner I believe and change permissions

cool bootanimation. could you possibly make a version that repeats the animation? it would be awesome if you could. i know you said it slows it down and dont want it to look tacky when it stops mid ani, but i kinda like the repeating look of the stock ics bootanimation.

Should be under /system/customize/resources/ if your running a Telstra ROM they call the bootanimation something different, if so, look under files starting with T.

It doesnt matter which version you are running. You just need root to replace the original bootanimation. It should work with GB, ICS and JB.
EDIT:
I researched a little about this and it seems that bootanimations are a kernel feature so you have to know if your kernel supports Bootanimations. Somtimes the file bootanimation.zip is named differently or located in different folders.
