I seem to be having an issue with ninja morph. As in, its not working right. I am trying to change the sms icon in my app drawer and I replace the png with the one I want using ninjamorph and it said it worked but yet no change in my app drawer. Still the same icon. I have been hearing that ninjamorph is not working well with android 2.3.4 so I wanted to see if anyone else on here is having that issue

I think it only works for AOSP ROMs. Not modified stock ROMs.

We need more roms for this phone. I don't get why we don't. This phone is pretty sweet. Obviously there is better phones out there but this is still a good solid phone with an unlocked bootloader and is just prime for rom development and what not

Been working on a MIUI-ish ROM for a few days now. It's definitely not a full MIUI ROM but it's going to be as close as I can get it. Just still need to replace some more apps and do some more themeing to it before I can give it out to some testers.

I take no credit for this....

As long as you are on a de-odex ROM you should have no issues. If you used the one noobnl posted or the DI18-DK28 OTA update, i believe those are an odex and it wouldn't work on that
Yea i got it bro....looks like it was a connection problem when downloading the first time

There is an issue with this mod...when you hold down the power button, when the options come up, instead of data mode...it shows "unread messages",,,also when holding down the home button for the task manager...it says "sim services"
I'm not so sure it has to do with this mod... can you confirm it didn't say that before you installed this?
Omg I just noticed that lmao

This doesn't work for me.. could it be because I've got a custom battery meter too? AOSP Magic theme won't load with the batt meter either. All DK28 compatible.

I just compiled this one from the DK28 rom fresh. Don't know how the old one is working right, the two files (LockPatternKeyguardView.smali) are completely different. The work around is exactly the same but they are on different lines. Be prepared for a long reboot it's normal.
Edit: Working themed with battery percent mod, nothing conflicting.

Works perfect with the this new policy.jar, no issues with the themed battery batt % either. Thanks!
Hi, is anyone here running TW Launcher 4.5 on their Nexus S?
If so how do you like it? Any issues/annoyances/opinions/suggestions/warnings?
Freezes my phone. Stay away from it. lol

I use it on Bugless Pete and I really do enjoy it. Runs very well.

I have this and it works fine on my NS4G. I dont use it as a daily however.
I tried making a post last night from the phone lost it and said "screw it".
I use(d), as of today, it on my Nexus S 4G with MiUi and Bugless Pete kernel.
It works for awhile, I don't know what the trigger is, then it locks the phone up.
"restart and save" from the menu doesn't work as well as the hot reboot and a few other things.
Today I switched to ADW Ex, I liked TouchWiz but I'm starting to thing there's something "missing" or it's incompatible with MiUi.
I tried this for a few hours on brainmaster's MIUI. Got a bunch of FCs during that time so I went back to the default MIUI launcher.
Tried it on CM7 and Oxygen. Works at first then starts to freeze. Would be nice if someone could get this to work 100%.
I had this running on Oxygen and while the launcher itself seemed to be running fine, I was unable to get any of the widgets working. Have any of you had success with the TW4/GSII widgets? Clock & weather specifically.
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk
I'm running it on a stock setup, once in awhile it will lag, when I hit menu>edit it will FC, other then that it runs and looms pretty good.
Not sure how to configure the widgets though

It doesn't work. I only get two icons on the dock (messaging and the app drawer), and nothing else at all.
Will I ever be able to find a launcher that has the dock icons exactly the same size as all other icons, but not slow as hell like ADW...
Enjoy:

You could try flashing the ICS theme after flashing the Stock Deodex ROM. Literally should only take you 10minutes to do. Flashing those two went really fast. Otherwise SD or Monster ROM would be your best bet if metamorph isn't working for ya. The ones on DroidPirate weren't working to good for me, either. But the whitebread theme and the green one here seem to work great.

Word ill try the ics theme. I am already stock deodexed so hopefully itll work. Yeah i tried this one gingerbread theme and tried to metamorph that but alls it said was status bar force close. And it kept doing that over and over again. it was one that gave u the neon green notification icons at the top. It pissed me off then i rebooted and no changes applied so i gaveup on that. could you possibily send the link or thread for that ics theme?

Yep, what this guy said.
By the way, usually you're gonna get force closes at first, that's normal. But when you reboot manually it should stop.

Use the UOT Kitchen and cook up whatever mods you want. I've made and flashed several so far. (Still running Stock ROM for now)
I am trying to find a way to get some basic toggles in the pulldown notification bar area, similar to what you would have on the Droid Charge.
These pictures I've attached show an example of what I am looking for.
Tried the few apps I could find in the market and nothing really worked well.
Are you rooted?
There is some out there look around when I get home I'll post some links!

Try elixer 2 its a petty cool app, but you also need elixer widget.

I would also like to know of some apps that would give me this functionality.. I just switched from the charge to the bionic and that's one thing I miss...

I am currently not rooted, but if I need to then I will certainly do that.
All bionic ROMs I've seen (Liberty, Th3ory and Eclipse) have this feature.

That is good to know. I think it is time to go that route. None of the apps I have tried give me what I am after.
Do any of the ROMS address the signal drop issue, or help improve it at all?
So far I have had the same signal issues on stock, liberty and the th3ory roms. I believe it is more a Verizon issue with the 4g phones. Sucks.
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using XDA App
I would go to the 5.7.893 update for the signal issues and if you don't want a ROM you can run stock deodexed and one of DroidJunk's mods I'm running Eclipse myself but it is really up to you as they are all good
Thanks for all the input guys. Very much appreciated.
bignadad's BigDX themes for stock 5.5.886 and 5.5.893 have this built in.
DroidJunk from MyDroidWorld.com has a mod zip with just this mod without any other theme updates.
Good deal.... now that I am rooted, I will try out some of these options. Awesome!
Must be deodexed first
if you dont want another rom, download
this mod from MDW which works great, it's what Tivo7 is referring to
My friend showed this to me today...It works on his Droid X, but obviously that doesn't mean anything for the Revo.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.jrummy.liberty.toolbox&hl=en
The feature list is massive; it's literally every root tool imaginable in one app. It's too much to hope that this will work, really.
Abbreviated List:
ROM Manager
App Manager
Root File Browser
Ad Blocker
Apps2SD
Font Installer
Boot Animation Installer
Battery Icon Changer
Boot Logo Changer
CPU Manager
Build.prop Tweaks
Auto Memory Manager
SD Boost
Sysctl Tweaks
At least some of these probably work?
I'm about two beers into the night right now...Give me about four more and I'll probably be able to tell you which features break your phone.
Been using jrummy16's root tools app for awhile. Decided to try his rom toolbox tonite. Great app! Bought the paid version, worth the $5 for the boot animations alone.

I haven't tried everything yet. The only thing that won't work is the theme chooser, I guess a need CM7 for that, and probably the ROM manager.

For the theme chooser... It's not cm7 it needs... It's the Tmobile theme engine... Which some aosp roms have built in.. Like cm7, simply stunning, liquid... That type
