[Q] remove apps? - HTC Vivid, Raider, Velocity

What apps can be safely removed from the HTC Vivid ICS rom?
Connected Media?

The better question is what apps can't be removed. Is there a particular app you don't want?

well google talk and connected media I dont need..

I recommend using Titanium Backup. You can backup the apps you think you don't need and then uninstall them. If you have issues or figure out you really did need them, you can easily restore the backup.

If Daily Briefing were just dragged into the trash on your screen, wouldn't that solve the lag issue?
I wanted to completely removethe app not just stop using the widget.i noticed that it was running in the background even though I wasn't using it. Titanium worked well anyway.

Even if you do you will eventually end up with the new one it automatically downloads when you go into the market.

deleting lg apps

ive got titanium backup on my phone and im trying to delete the LG facebook, twitter and myspace app but i cannot find them?
how can i delete them?
I can advise system tuner,go to system apps and choose delet. That will do it. But you have to root phone if you didnt. But i think its safer to freeze.

Google Play Music app. I want to get rid of it!

Is it possible to get rid of the Google Play Music app? I hate that thing and I hate downloading music from it. I just like to use the HTC Sense music app.
I can drag the icon to the uninstall portion of the screen but it doesn't uninstall.

You have to be rooted you can use titanium backup or file manager both are free in the play store

Personally I use uninstall master to go through and remove apps I don't want which includes most of the google play stuff. But like SkinnyBiggs noted you have to be rooted.
I also try to remove them from ROMs before I load them.

Backup?

Need some advice on what would be considered the best back up app there is. Let me know what apps everyone is using and what they do/don't do. Thanks

Titanium Backup Pro.
I tried several, but this one works. It has saved me a dozen times at least!

Thanks for the reply, that's the normal one I use but sometimes it's very unstable and some of my apps stop giving me notifications after I restore them. Anyone one else have any suggestions? I've also used helium which is nice but also doesn't work all the time.
