The problem was that somehow when I flashed the ROM it took out my recovery. even if I tried to power on the phone holding Vol + and 3D button then powering on it did nothing, the phone would just boot normally. I just re-flashed teh recovery and it works fine again.

Use the recovery manager in the make flashing and returning to stock easier guide in the development section. And try not to use ROM manager.

I can't really understand what to do here with all of this. Can you show me this step by step?
okay, here we go :
if you have flashed a recovery and your bootloader is unlocked then you.
To check if it is correct :
1. shut down phone,
2. unplug battery and insert again
3. press volume down and power button until u will se a white screen.
4. in top of it you shoud see unlocked and hboot version and so on.
5. you can also use volume buttons to go down to recovery and press power button, then it should start a recovery.
6. if that is all okay, flash this : View attachment CWM-SuperSU-v0.96.zip
7. then wipe cache and dalvik cache in recovery and reboot.
8. Job done, you should be running okay now.
if you not have a custom recovery, i will recommend that you download xl multi tool from dev section and flash twrp recovery.
Try and let me know the result or come over to the irc chat found in my signature and we can write

[Solved] HELP: Switched to ART and ...

I am sorry if someone else had posted this but i can't seem to find it . I have the Sprint HTC one M8 non H/K version.. It is rooted unlocked with TWRP 2.7.0.7 S-Off i have the Bad Boys version 1.4 ROM with the H/K firmware.. My problem is that I switched from Dalvik to ART in the Developer options and it prompted me to reboot the phone, when i did the phone wont reboot . It is stuck on the HTC One logo screen right before it starts up. I have tried to VOL+ power and it goes to the update HBOOT then asks to reboot phone and still wont boot. can someone please point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance
I had to delete the P0BIMG.zip file from my sd card to keep it from updating my HBOOT , then i was able to reboot into recovery and install backup.
Last time I tried ART, the first boot took a LONG time

I need Motorola Contextual Services on CyanogenMod.

Hello everyone.
I do not like to write much.
I used the CyanogenMod 12.1 in a motorcycle 2014 (titan). I successfully installed the Motorola Assist by my recovery(flashable zip), but to use all the functions of the application I'll need to install the Motorola Contextual Services.
One would compatibilize the Motorola Contextual Services for cm12.1.
I can only use sleeping mode and meeting mode, I can not use the driving mode.
I'm sure that is possible.
i don't think it can works in cm 12.1.
But click here
DOWNLOAD IT
The apk does not work in any ROM if the service is uninstalled or never existed

Even with the original rom can not install applications and system services with a apk. The apk only serves to update the application or service already installed. I need a flashable zip, but I'm not a developer to make one.
i didn't know that.

you can do hard reset , press Volume down +power for over 2minutes ,
my friend had a problem the device didn't open plunged in , then he did a "press Volume down +power for over 2minutes " and boom opened.
Or try press Volume down +power for over 2minutes , after the phone close from no battery.
Give it a shot
Is not it!

I'm not using the Stock ROM, so I ask for a flashable zip. I want to put a service of Stock Rom in cm. Hard reset will not work and i do not intend to return to the Stock Rom.
Only one developer knows what I'm asking.
Thank you!
Thank you!

recovery is vol up + power button , atleast for me. try it and flash the system again, hopefully you have a backup if not i would go for a fresh install of the rom , clean every partition ( not sdcard ) and then flash the v2 b574 by sokkoban ( already rooted ) . good luck on it

Yes, i hold the powerbutton and then the huawei logo comes, and then phone turns black and nothing happens

so i ran this autoscript to root my phone, all yellow marked thing are things I KNOW happened. and the blue box ist the place where my usb plugged out accidently, where it never restarted...
I guess you unlocked the bootloader before doing that, right?

yes totaly right
But i cant acces the bootloader now.
Then, you just flashed a recovery, the system partition wasn't touched. When I was porting TWRP 3 and something didn't work, I just opened the back cover of the phone, removed some screws, and then I unplugged the battery for a while. Then I tried to boot pressing the vol down key + power. It always worked.
i am not clear about the issue

Download the firmware put the dload folder in sdcard. Turn on the device by pressing all buttons simultaneously. This will force update firmware.

Stuck on bootloop

Hi,
I have got a huge problem: got bootloop after flashing Havoc OS because I forgot to instal bootloop fix. But it's not the worse. I have broken volume up button so I cant go to recovery by power+volume up, and, I dont know why, after pressing power+volume down, my phone turn off and I cant even go to fastboot.
Any ideas what can I do?
Please try to press the power button for at least 10 seconds to force reboot the phone, when the MI logo shows up, press power+volume down and enter fastboot. Then connect to computer and reboot to recovery via ADB.
I did that, but the fastbot screen doesn't show up. It was like that because I had Darkness Kernel and it show always darkness theme instead of f.e. fastbot screen. But thanks for answer @andoidZhao.
Problem already solved. Thread's dead :]
Same happened with me..... my vol down button is not working.. when press vol up + power it isn't go to twrp..... Any method to flash rom while phone switch off??
