help with Crossbow

Hey
Iv just installed crossbow succesfully in my wizard
the problem i am facing is that I am unable to start the phone app
and the signal always says no service
Iv checked the GSM it is still there
any help is appreciated

This happened to me this morning... I went to the Communications Manager, ticked the phone application to stop it (although it was already stopped) and ticked it again to restart.
Phone's working fine now. Good luck!

Sorry for being so vague Right now I'm using Crossbow Most Beautiful version, radio ROM is 2.19.11 (included in the firmware)... Before that I was using the Underground version and I flashed radio 2.47... That combo was so-so... Had a lot of echoes especially from a landline of a specific interchange area.
Does the phone app gives you an error message or the little antenna icon just keeps searching and searching? Have you tried using another SIM card?

Problems with Wifi after installing Official Gps Rom update

Hello,
does anybody who had a similar problem can help me?
After installing the latest Italian ROM update from HTC site (enabling GPS) the wifi connection does not work anymore.
When I tip on the wireless icon in the Comm Manager the icon on the screen become a small antenna but it does try to find new networks.
If I go on the network adapters menu I can’t find available networks but only the option to manually add a new network.
I have tried with an hard reset but the problem persists. Of course before installing the update everything was working perfectly.

I'm using official WWE ROM and everything is working fine with Wi-Fi

the same for me...
everything works as it should....

Did you tried to move the cursor of WiFi power management to the left?
When you flash a new ROM it goes to the maximum power saving (right position).
With this setting I had troubles to connect to Access Points also with the original ROM.

continuous signal loss

Hi all,
after several HTC and SonyEricsson phones I landed to an LG Optimus 2x, but I found lots of probs.
With the original Rom I had good signal but it was laggy, with the famous GPS issue, etc. I then installe d a leakd v20o (stock) and solved speed and GPS issues, but now I have CONTINUOUS signal loss.
Sometimes I have no signal and have to switch the device on and off to get it back, sometimes it looks like there's signal but as soon as I try to put a call it says "no signal".
Now I wonder which rom should I use to have both speed and GPS as well as a good signal (and here I mean than when it loses it also recver it fast)
Actual baseband is: 1035.21_20110725
any suggestion?

I am not sure but maybe you have to change the RIL version. Look up the app "GetRIL" in the market.

Sorry mate if this' goin' to look N00b to you but... how do I choose the right RIL?
EDIT: Nevermind, I found that the app tells you the rmatching one.. goin' to try it

try to follow the RIL accosrding to the recommendations....nevertheless, if your issue is not rectified...change to another RIL....BB-RIL combo depends on operator, signal and several other factors...so try....

On first run the app told me the RIL matched, but the recommended one was different. TRied that one and there was no signal at all.
Restored the original and now it's bat to work but with same issues.
Is it safe to try several RILs??

There's no danger in trying multiple RILs

Did you flash a new Baseband while changing to the Custom ROM you mentioned?
Are you sure you flashed the BB correctly?

The same problem i have me to. After trying all the rooms i stopped on the latest CM7.1 for Lg optimus 2x. you should try to look you signal to your network manually. In this way i don´t lose anymore the signal. The Gps en this rom it connect very well and i don´t have any problem with the signal. Good LUCK

i got this problem before, but after refresh BB, problem solve...good luck !! and make sure RIL is matched

Gueste 3.0 and bb218 with matching ril I have no issues. Maybe quite heavy on the battery with 3G but its always been like that for me.

Thank you.
I already checked that thread but there is no REAL solution there. Disabling automatic time, hard reset and things like that did not solve any of my issues.

no I didn't. The baseband I have (the one mentioned in my first post) is the one the phone came with.
Do you think I should try another one? Which one do you think is best with the stock v20o (leaked)?

Wifi not working on EnergyROM 3.5

Hi everybody,
Sorry I would post a reply in the actual thread here but they said I need at least 10 posts to post there, and I'm not an active poster though I do use the forums a lot to clear up my doubts. I've tried searching for this problem elsewhere but there is only so much I can gather from browsing forums.. Any help is appreciated!
I just installed the newest version of EnergyROM (4th July) and my Wifi in my power settings shows "Error". I used the 21st Feb version of EnergyROM previously before flashing "Nik_IncredibleS_TriNiTy_SensationXL V 5.0 Final". Wifi was working without any issues on both but when I installed the new one it showed an Error..
I found a solution but it was for the Amaze 4G and I couldn't find an equivalent solution, so I'd appreciate if someone can help me as I have a limited data plan and use wifi at my workplace and when I'm home.

I tried installing a new kernel, 2.6.35.14-UNITY-V10-gf17016b.zip but apparently it's the same version yet it was supposed to fix the wifi problem.. Any help please?

am guessing you've flashed the wrong kernel and/or not done it correctly.
do a clean wipe, install energy rom, download the kernel as suggested in the energy rom thread & flash it..
should work..
i don't think this is necessary but you can also try an app called wi-fi fix (or wifix or something like that)

I've actually tried flashing the ROM again but it didn't work; and for my kernel that I flashed, I found that I was actually flashing the same kernel that came together with the ROM..
I've tried several Wifi Fix apps but none has worked.. Attached is a screenshot of the Error.

more than once i try to connect to a wifi network keep telling me obtaining ip address and disconnect too much
also wifi signal to a specific network low ,although another phone to my friends to the same network but singal is high what is the issue plz and how i can fix it ?>?????

dont forget to factory reset and wipe dalvik cache dude! from cwm
