N7000 on AT&T - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I received a N7000 yesterday and was working to get it set up on my AT&T plan. I have it making and placing phone calls, on the web, and sending and receiving text messages.
I cannot however get it to receive MMS.
Can anyone guide me in the right direction?
I have tried various APN settings with no luck. Your help is greatly appreciated!
I have tried much of the info in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1437805&page=20
I am still looking for the fix.

Got it .. please disregard

I also seen to have trouble receiving mms. Could someone kind soul, who is on stock orange firmware post the settings as they appear on their phone?
Note: I have browsed the net for settings and entered them correctly but to no joy.

[Q] Rogers mms issues (apn)

im not entirely sure if its my rom (perception 10.1) or if its something with the apn, but i havent been able to use mms for a while. currently im using the settings
APN: rogers-core-appl1.apn
MMSC: http: // mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS Proxy: 10.128.1.69
MMS Port: 80
APN Type: internet+mms
my 3g works fine, but not the mms. i tried adding the other apn for mms only, but it wouldnt connect while this one is connected. i guess you are only allowed to be on one APN at a time? just wondering if anyone on rogers currently has 3g and mms working together so i could try their settings. thanks
Open a second APN and use these:
Name:Rogers MMS
APN:media.com
Username: media
Password: mda01
Server:172.25.0.107
MMSC: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS Proxy:10.128.1.69
MMS Port:80
MCC:302 (should already be filled in)
MNC:either 720 or 72 depending on your SIM card (should already be filled in)
APN Type:mms
Not sure if this will work, but Good Luck.
Forgot to mention, Your First APN should be this:
For Internet Access/Texting
Name:Rogers
APN:internet.com
Username:wapuser1
Password:wap
MCC:302 (should already be filled in)
MNC:either 720 or 72 depending on your SIM card (should already be filled in)
Leave all other settings blank.
I just wanted to add a comment for anyone else with this problem.
I had to remove the username (just leave it blank) from the MMS settings above to get my MMS to send. Otherwise the messaging app just sat at 'sending..'.
Worked for me! Thanks
these are my settings:
APN: rogers-core-appl1.apn
Proxy: <not set>

Username: <not set>

Do you have an APN configured? If not, you'll need to add one. I had the same problem myself after flashing a rom last night. I just manually added the APN and off I went.
You can find it under Settings->Wireless and Network->Mobile Network Settings->Access Point Names.
This is the Telus APN from what I can see (on Rogers myself so can't confirm):
Name: TELUS SP
APN: sp.telus.com
Proxy: 74.49.0.18
Port: 80
Username: <Not set>
Password: <Not set
Server: <Not set>
MMSC: aliasredirect.net/proxy/mmsc
MMS Proxy: 74.49.0.18
MMS Port: 80
MMS Protocol: WAP 2.0
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
APN type: default,mms
you'll need to pre-pend h t t p : / / (no spaces) to the MMSC setting. The forum wouldn't let me post an outside URL
nop
No worries. Glad it worked out

Hey mate, there is already a thread for that issue here. Looks like there is no solution yet except waiting for an update or downgrading to the previous version.
