[Q] Cannot run MegaMallStory in CM 7

Hello guys. Im facing a problem here. I just flash my phone to Cm 7.2 rc 4. I cannot play mega mall story but funny fish runs fine.before this imm usig emanon rom and both games work. Can someone help me? Thank u in advance
p/s- i already tried to reflash my phone 3 times but still the problem persist.

Some games don't run very well in CM7.

Thanks for your efforts with writing this tutorial but there seems to be a glitch with CWM that maybe you could update the OP with and that is that some of our devices do not like some versions of CWM, v5.0.2.7 and v4.0.0.4 both ended up with a fast rolling screen in Recovery but ClockworkMod_Recovery_v5.5.0.4_P75xx.tar from here http://www.teamovercome.net/p7500/?page_id=8 was successful although I'm not sure of the differences between them are but I have noticed that some of our members here have v5.5.0.4 listed in there specs that is why I thought I would try it out.

What did you install? if it is a Rom that you installed search The ROMs thread for "YouTube not working" or "app not supported" if it’s a problem or/and has a fix then the search will yield results.

I don't believe you’re in the right forum for these questions; Try the Q&A forum also when asking in the right forum you will probably get helped faster if someone knows what you are talking about.

Tried to unroot, now I have this. Been trying to flash through Odin (PDA md5 file only), gets to 'system', goes about 10 minutes then fails. Nothing on sd card. Im hoping I can save this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is a retail Wifi.
I have the correct USB drivers and can see it in device manager but not in explorer. I do not have the correct ADB SDK, cant seem to find it.
Been reading several threads and watching vids on youtube, nothing seems to do the trick. Im stuck but hopefully not bumming.

compared to my galaxy ace, the battery of note is very big (2500 MAh to 1350 MAh) , but my ace could last longer as the same usage.
And yes, I have rooted both of them, but the difference is, i used scrpits and custom roms on my galaxy ace, but not in my note.
my note is still using stock ICS rooted , (DXLP9)
afterall, the only questions i wanted to ask is, is this script working in note ?

Yes , it works on note but you must push it manually (follow the installation from OP)
, I use the second script. You will notice the different in standby time and 3G , in wifi
almost the same.

I am quite new with all these and I want some help.
I got a samsung galaxy ace S5830 with cyanogen mod 7.2.0 with android version 2.3.7.
Is there any way to install Instagram? Any apk available?

Can you not install it from Google Play? If you can't, then it most probably will not work on your device.

Yes I cannot install it because the current version available in google store isn't supported by my phone, because of the rom I guess.so I was looking for an older version apk compatible with my current rom.

If you are interested in installing the latest version of Instagram, I suggest you upgrade to CM 9 or above. Are you using Ace S5830 or S5830i? Anyway I tried searching for Gingerbread compatible version and found this (haven't personally tried it),

Thankfully I also use Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830. I was a bit confused when you posted this question in the S5830i Q/A section. Personally, I suggest you use the CM9 by Rhievaldo. You can also try the other version CM9 and above roms and be a judge yourself. Here is the link to all the custom roms for Ace S5830,

CWM 5 is more than enough with CM 7, CM 9 and CM 10 roms. CWM 6 should only be used if you want to go for CM 11 (KitKat) roms. But even in CM 11 roms, there is one rom (KitKat for All) that works quite well with CWM 5. So you are good to go with the recovery you have know. Make sure to follow the installation instructions specified in the thread. Good Luck

No, I don't use Instagram on Ace. It could be a RAM problem though

so what do you suggest to do?i pressed the home button in order to close any other running programs but the problem insists:silly:

You can use Greenify to hibernate other unnecessary apps that runs in the background. You can save some RAM that way.
