GET VERSION 2.0 WITH DIFFERENT CONTACT VIEWS HERE
Here is a Bubble theme I made for PocketCM
I decided I wanted to make a theme that looks complete and is fun to play around with, and this is what I came up with!
!!!!MAJOR IMPROVEMENT WITH THIS VERSION!!!
UPDATE v1.1:
....loading time for landscape is much faster
....landscape looks much better
....smaller file size
....smoother transitions and scrolling
....updated with Gradient No Arrows
Be sure to update! MAJOR improvement over previous version!
Known Issues:
..... you cannot really see the text on the options panel (you have to tilt your screen just right so that you can see it.. I still do not know how to change the font color on this page, however this isnt that big of a deal since you can still see what you need to see)

Where would you like them to be?
I was going to.. but they are hard to get to fit in those little bubbles.

I think on the far right (or left) they can fit, probably a slightly larger bubble?
(I dont know if its possible but i mean inside the bubble)

Check the first post - I updated it so now there are contact pictures on the left of the bubbles - I made them as big as it would allow without looking strange

All,
This is my first attempt as modding a theme.. I think I did a good job..
I took the PDVista PocketCM theme with PD's permission and modded the graphics. I also got help from DvTonder to correct the mail icon issue with the newer version of PocketCM.
This will work with PocketCM .21 - .23
This looks just like the HTC Diamond, background, pop up icons on the bottom, etc..
If someone wants to do the graphics over, be my guest.. I would love to play more but don’t have the time.. I spend like a week and change to get things where they are now..
Graphics that need to be done over:
Dial pad needs to be done in gloss black
Dial pad "pressed" buttons need to be done over in gloss black
Menu "pressed" buttons need to be done over with the fancy black diamond theme icon (I included it in the zip).
The icons on the main contact menu need to be done over in gloss black.
This theme has a Greatbal Diamond Look.

What do you mean, lol. Hush your mouth, lol. Many are interested. Your theme inspired me to use pocketcm all over again, lol. Thanks and look forward to more of your work.
Edit: I noticed your theme is a large one, almost a 1mb. Which I imagine the larger the file (theme) the slower it starts up. Nice theme though.

It looks sweet. The only thing that I don't like about it is that I can't see the phone numbers on the contact screen without scrolling down to it.

A little bit too dark for my taste, as I was using a diamond theme but with white background, but since this one doesn't have the bugs my previous one had I'm changing now, thank you and good work

Wow! Just downloaded pocketcm and your theme rocks! I'm a noob.... anyway to incorporate the text messaging from pocketcm into the standard texting from spb shell using one of the themes people have posted... (such as diamond theme?)

I just installed it on htc Touch and the color of the font is BLACK for all contacts. So, I can not see any. The color needs to be set to WHITE. Thanks.

I use it on my Mogul and it seems to be fine. It's not so bad on startup and I found that it only uses up about 2 mbs of memory.

Honestly, i got tired of reading the whole text message and could not figure out how to disable the auto show phone number with contacts option and make it come up when you select it in the options. so i just made it black, i can change it and upload two diff copies for you guys. If someone can look at the code and tell me what the option is to give the control back to the options "show contacts with phone number" i will change it.

Well its not my code so thats prob the reason there are no bugs Thanks to DV T and PD... I just modded the code and changed the pics.

Thanks.. I will prob finish up the graphics since you all like it.. You may want to try a soft reset... I have tested this on my Mogul only.. I can change the highlighted colors if you really want me to.. but it makes it easy to see.. What about two shades of blue??

one problem i have and not sure if other has the same. In the option i check on "contact without phone" but it still show phone number. I would like to only show just the name.

problem with menu that comes up from holding down the far right button. doesnt come up all the way. anyone else have this problem? i would also prefer highlighting that menu in a different color than hot pink. excellent job overall.

Can you change the font for the phone numbers to be white instead of black? Then it would be perfect

this is what i was trying to decribe.i have same problem.also i guess the letter bars between the contacts is supposed to be that aqua blue.i'd like to see that in another color.

(THEME) Blackberry Redux (WAD2 + SMS-Chat + FunContact)

This theme is based on my previous Blackberry Bold theme, but, as you can see, looks nothing like the old theme. All of the graphics come from the Storm Precision set I found on a Blackberry message board.
WAD2 Installation:
1. Drop the "Bold" and "Bold P" folders to the WAD2/Themes folders.
2. Drop the "Themes" folder into the root directory of your Storage Card.
3. To change to the theme, go to WAD2 Settings, Change Theme, Set Bold P as your Portrait theme, Bold as your Landscape.

Now some of the SMS-Chat.
Installation
1. Drop "Black" and "Black_Alert" files into Vito/Sms-Chat/Skins/Bin folder.
2. Restart SMS-Chat.

And finally, FunContact (Not 100% complete, but all the basics are there.)

what version of sms chat are you using. Its important to say what version cause they add graphics in newer versions and im running sms-chat v1.05 and these graphics mess the look up. Nice work though.

hey this version runs the best on my device so i don't complain about using an older version it does what i need it to do and so far with no bugs. I have tried newer versions and they bug out on my phone.

A couple of requests:
1. Any way to make the bluetooth icon a little more finger-friendly?
2. I don't know if this is a bug or not, but when I choose the vibrate option from the phone, the picture of the phone in the left hard corner disappears.
3. Anyway to get the Contacts skin for iContact Burt Edition?
4. Anyway to get a matching dialer skin?

Great Skin in here I just happen to discover. I'm using Sms Chat 1.25 and I had to redo a little bit the layout in photoshop to make it work. But the problem I seem to have is concerning the gradients. Sms Chat seem to apply a transparency on it and the type of gradient you used for the skin bars is creating artefacts. Any ideas?

The problem is with VITO's forced transparency on some of their graphics. Happens with Fun Contact also and with most of the Winterface themes I built. Not sure how to get around it.

You're right, that's what I figured, playing around with the theme. And the thing is it's quite difficult to know exactly the conditions to create a clean bmp with vito's specs. That's a bit of a shame, since their original black skin has gradient as well and does work well. And as you say, it's the same with funcontact.
When looking for some Winterface themes, someone managed to create skin files (not just replacing the bmps) by editing the hex code of the theme.skin file. It was easy to find the declaration of the bmp files needed to make a custom skin and I think, somehow it might be possible to find a transparency parameter in this file.

I don't have a system wide theme for ya, but once you guys do get an AllBlack theme port from Vibrant, or black gloss, etc,
I have tons of keyboards Metamorphs, with Swype trail colors and such. I haven't had the time to update all my threads in all the SGS forums, but the link in my signature has all the most current stuff. So far, I only have one MM that works for Fascinate's Swype, and a revert to stock, as well as the trail lines (flashable zips). I will soon update all my glass versions to include speech input (epic4g, fascinate, vibrant JI2) as well as the HTC skins (will be adding more colors for that soon), and once I get a few keyboards set up, I will also release accent color packs (the highlight color when you touch the keys, the word choice window color, as well as the "Delete Word Back" popup that shows when you hold down the backspace key.
I'm not exactly making a system theme, but I sure hope this helps with your girl problems

I plan on putting together a minimalistic black theme, once we get custom recovery and all that going, for now I will just rip apart the framework, etc, seeing as Sammy was kind enough to rename a lot of the images, and add a few new ones.

That would be fantastic. I wonder if the swype themes done for any of the other variants could be pushed in? I don't imagine the differences in swype on here would be that different from the Vibrant.

[Theme][1.1][EB01] Grape Fizz! - (6 Lock beta)

A random theme I was working on, More so for the ladies but to eaches own..
No confirmed name. Grape fizz was the misses suggestion. I re-worked the NeonGT port I did, basically an inverted NeonGT. There may be things I am missing or have not done yet.
I just want to put it out there and see if there is an interest for this and will try to update according to feedback.
For now it was meant to try and be minimally invasive, as to not break any other mods you may currently have.
As of now only tested on EB01!

This is a patch that can be applied over 1.1 and will give you sbrissen's and/or TSM's latest 6 lock mod themed accordingly. This also includes the aosp music controls as well.

The browser address bar: It's hard to see the address because it's black font on black background unless we select it. I was wondering if you can just change it to white background with dark purple font color? 2. The dial pad: when you punch in numbers, the numbers come out white. I was wondering if you can change it to the same color as the numbers on the dial pad or even the pink color that comes out with the contacts when you press the numbers?
Actually, playing around with my phone a bit more, I found that there are a lot of white fonts on white background (google navigation, quick search as mentioned) Is it possible to change all those white fonts?

Thanks for pointing those out. I just went to town and changed so many things on a wim. Now I gotta back trace and tidy up. Just wanted to make sure there was enough of a market so to say to go much farther.
I definitely appreciate the feedback, I don't run this so it helps. I'm fine with your suggestions but option 2 was purple at one point and with transparency and a similar color background, it was slightly hard to read. But hey, I have no problem changing it. Thank you!

Also too, I have another version done with sbrissen's 5lock and hide clock options and a few more apk's as well. I will get it upped and linked soon.

Actually, the address bar turns black with back font after the page loads. Put this theme on my mom's fascinate last night. She loves it too Thanks again!

Well msjudyfoo, the background should be white with black text. I could be confused with something I haven't released yet though.
Anyhow, I updated the OP and just went to version 1.0 so hopefully all is well.
The purple font increased, but I did not address the browser bar as of yet. Thanks again!

To clear the air, some of you may remember me mentioning a fire n ice theme. Well, this phone brought on a whole lot of new hobbies for me so I finally got to rebuild my pc. Well improper backup just shredded a bunch of my files.
So I'm kinda have to start new with a bunch of things. lessen learned!

But it would be purple! lol, it looks awesome man, im gonna have to flash it later.
