unrooted, now can no longer root. - LG Optimus Black

I have the sprint LG marquee. I know most of the Optimus Black stuff isn't compatible with my phone but dunno where else to post.
At one point I had root access and cwm recovery on it (that is all that is available for that phone atm). I accidentally used the LG support tool (like Motorola phone tool), thinking it would just install usb drivers to my pc. What it did must have been firmware or software update or something. I lost the cwm recovery and root, and since then I can not root anymore.
I know methods and solutions in this forum might not fix it, but I was wondering if someone here could decipher why I am unable to root. I have tried every available working method and get the same results.
here it is....

This is definitly wrong here in the DEV section...
But to your problem. Gingerbread is unrootable till now, at least via one click solution like SoC, BlackJack and similar programms.
What you can do, is get the software for your device in kdz format and flash it with R&D Testtool plus Workaround.
I dont know, if this works on your device. But if it does, you should also be able to inject CWM into the update and the flash superuser.zip. Just search for cwm injection here.
Hope this at least helps a bit. You can also inject CWM into the LG update tool btw.
And pls provide some more information, if this doesnt help, like your software version.

Your thread had nothing to do with development, so it was moved here. Perhaps the link from this post might be of some help.

Have you tried Gingerbreak?
Worked for me...
If you want it tell me, I'll upload it for you.

Blue screen with a lot letters.
How unbrick ?
There was a thread about that long ago. I did experience that blue screen too long before. Smartflash and v20a (Chinese) mostly solved those problems. And I suggested that solution on that thread. But nowadays, there's a combination of SmartFlash and BIN/FLS that DOESN'T factory reset your phone.
During our times with SmartFlash, it will wipe any data hence the solution for that kernel panic.
R&D Tool too can solve that. Keep in mind, you only need something to FACTORY RESET your phone during flashing process.
Here are possible solutions...

Yes, but the recovery dont works, dont accept any option...
How do you mean, doesnt accept any options? How about taking a ROM, that has got full wipe in the updater-script? And how about flashing normal CWM and not touch one? And just cause many miss it, is there the possibility, that your friend just didnt scroll down? Did you try R&D tool + workaround and a v10 software already? LG B2C tool and emergency recovery in there maybe?
Sorry for soo many questions, but maybe it helps and gives you some inspiration

[Q] Flashed Wrong Firmware

Hi XDA Members,
I was trying to return my G2 to Stock, in the process I mistakenly installed the T-Mobile firmware onto my Verizon Phone. The phone restarts every 10 secs and has no working wifi/4g.
I no longer have TWRP installed, nor any other recovery mode apparently (?), I'm now unrooted, but I can access download mode.
My computer has LG's General G2 drivers installed, the Verizon G2 drivers installed, and I have access to the LG Flash Tool. Everytime I try to use it, it is saying that it can not connect to server, please try another time. I've got the Stock Firmware download as both a kdz and a tot file.
I know I shouldn't have made such an oversight, installing the wrong firmware. But I would be most grateful if someone could assist!
Thanks in advance
I just came upon this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-g2/help/fix-recover-installing-t-mobile-rom-t3068517 which is telling me to edit the tot, changing from VVS980 to a VD801(00).
Would this be the way to do that? (10th line from the top, at the right) Thanks again

Try this thread. I had some issues installing a custom rom on a g2 I recently purchased and I had to go back to stock courtesy of a kdz file. Got my phone back to stock 4.4.2 it came with in about 10 minutes after using LG flash tool 2014. With the lg flash tool 2014 you will still get the cannot connect to server issue but it will still update your phone so just ignore it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190

From Bootloader - Android System Status: Custom

See pics. After unlocking I get a custom Android boot screen and the phone will not read any SIM. Appreciate if someone knows how to reverse this. Running Android 5.0 (can't root, install custom recovery, flash, or update from external storage).

WTH?
Did you unlock the bootloader?

No. AT&T and Verizon lock the bootloader starting with Android 5. I did find that the baseband version is "unkown", which is why the radio is not working or reading a SIM. See picture.
Hmmm
So your ril got corrupted some how is what it looks like to me.
What is "ril" the acronym for?
In any event, where can I get a stock 5.0 or higher ROM that I can hopefully flash from my sd card. All I'm seeing is 4.4.2. Apparently, the AT&T updates are OTA.
Hmmm
I'm out of town right now and can't find one on xda. Try sammobile.com. Don't try ro flash it via sdcard. Odin or adb sideload would be the way to go. I would also suggest rebooting into the built in recovery and resetting it that way.
Thank you. for the suggestions. Before posting the original thread I tried a factory re-set (volume up + home + power), as well as Odin, and neither worked.
AT&T has the bootloader locked tight on Android 5.0 and above.
Yes
That is unfortunately true. Where did you buy the phone? And do you live in the states?
Use Triangle Away apk.
It's US stock, original AT&T device. Worked fine with the exception of poor battery life after the 5.0 OTA upgrade untilit was unlocked.

I messed up my phone, need some help.

I decided I wasn't going to root/install any roms on this phone, but Samsung recently updated their Samsung Pay app and there has been a huge square at the bottom of my screen for quick access to this stupid ****ing app that I can't uninstall and will never use. So I decided to try and install a new ROM on it and I was following this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmo...m-darthstalker-note5-version-1-aroma-t3212091
I don't exactly know how it happened, I got lost in tons of pages of guides and whatnot, but I eventually installed Noble Kernel, which then gave me the KERNEL IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING boot stuck error. I then tried to install TWRP because apparently Noble Kernel is the only one you can load via Odin, and now im getting RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING.
All I can boot into is download mode. I tried flashing stock android and odin always fails after less than a second, and it gives no reason why. Ive tried every version of odin, all my USB ports, and different stock image files.

Same issue... is there a resolution
Did you ever figure this one out im in the same boat and would really like to know what to do

If u can still go in download mode then search for SamFirm in xda or look into general section of note 5 thread. I think ur model is T version. Here u can download the 4 files thru SamFirm and flash thru ODIN method.

Recovery?

I hope someone can compile a recovery for the U19e.
It's possibly HTC's last release ?
I don't want to order it until I know it's rootable.

? How did you install Magisk with no recovery?
Mod edit - translated by https://translate.google.com/?hl=de&tab=TT:
How to root without twrp
*****************************
没有twrp怎么root啊,跪求
What a waste
I have bought HTC U19e, its a beautiful phone, responsive and good size...
But with no help from @sabpprook , no RUU, silly A/B partitions, no 'fastboot boot' support. Doubt this phone will ever be supported by TWRP developers. No root means I will have to throw the phone away. Such a shame.
Well, the magisk-install thread says:
In case your device lacks a custom recovery, you can either :
Manually patch your device’s boot image and flash it, or
Use the Direct Install option
Just try the alternate way -may you have to unlock bootloader via the normal htcdev site.
6 months have passed, the phone still in the box never used
sabpprook confirmed he is not willing to help or share his patched boot image.
What a shame more people didn't get behind HTC.
