Unable to download paid apps from market...

I am unable to download paid apps from the market, whenever i try to d/l it gives an error "an error occurred. please try again". I just have one gmail account configured. Wiped cache, dalvik, app data market data... no avail... it works fine when d/l free apps, and i am able to d/l paid apps but only when buying it from desktop which gets pushed to my phones market.
Anyone got any solution apart from flashing the rom again??. I am on simplicity 1.6.1

I encountered the same problem, I was trying to download some of the 10 cent apps google offers at the moment, but no luck. Every time same problem you have described.

Ya same with me too... not able to dl the 10 cents ones and also the normal ones but paid... free apps are fine...

Uninstall the market update, download jelly defender, then let it auto update the market again afterwards.
Ran into the same problem last night.
You may have to temporarily freeze the market updater with titanium backup or similar program.

That didn't work for me although I am using a custom rom but it was working as early as this afternoon. When i tried to purchase an app online to have sent to my phone I got the same error message.

Installed a new rom and it seems to be workin now.. Never exactly got to know the problem but i am happy that it works.now..

hi all.. noob here..
just got android phone and my choice came to galaxy note..
i buy it in china and to my surprise i don't have any market app in it..
i tried to install market 3.3.11 with apk but as i download something an error message came out.. it said that process com.android.vending has stop and i need to force it close.. is there any way to get the market? do i have to re-install the stock-rom?

no market apps
help anyone?

have you tried market 3.4.4? rocket rom's thread has the link to this i think
also recommended for you to have market enabler installed to fake your market locale

You can download the market 2.4.4 from Android Police's site, that's what I use. If it doesn't work, you may need to root your phone, but let's see what the rest say first.

This is strange. Why wouldn't a google phone come without the market? are you sure you have an original device and not a replica?

i had this same problem when i bought my galaxy s2 from dubai.. i didnt have the android market but had the slide me market instead... you can get the market back by changing the csc... dial *#272*imei number of ur phone#... and change it to somethin else.. i gues its xeu.... u will wipe your phone when u do this.. hope it helps..

china isn't exactly best friends with Google.

Yup, and i guess China won't put Market on devices sold there since they can't control the content.

[PROBLEM] Google Maps

I am currently on apocalypse final rom, when I try to download google maps thru market, it gives a msg(see below). It starts download and gives an error on installing. Is there any solution to this.

i'll try downloading it and see if i get the same message,because it says its compatible, it might be something with ur rom
it worked, but i need an activation to play :/ im on cm10, so i think its cuz of your rom. thanks me if i helped

I have the V10B version (official rom), so it's 2.2 froyo... But what could be wrong with that version ? I can play any game from google play, except games asking for Android ICS !

[Q] Google Play Store crashes everytime I run it

Hi. I installed CM9 RC2 rom on my Galaxy Ace GT-S5830. It all worked just fine.
A few days ago, I got a new device, and my brother was supposed to receive the old one.
I made a reset to my device, in order to clean it from all my stuff. After I did that, I tried to connect to my brother's Google account, then I ran Google Play Store, and it said "Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped."
I tried to install a newer version of this rom (CM9 RC4), but I got the same error.
Is there any way to fix this?
I want to say that before each one of the roms I installed, I had flashed the original Samsung stock rom, and cleaned all cache.
I also tried to connect my own Google account (which used to work) and the same error popped up when running Google Play Store.
Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

I have already tried to flash gapps, but then I got an error that the installation wizard cannot be found (or something like that).
I guess it was an invalid package... Do you know where I can download the gapps so it will work on CM9 RC4?
