why not use both for max performance
btw i use hard multitasking option in that app and have swap 256 partition max performance

Because GPU memory is shared with main RAM. Our GPU is using about 64 MB RAM. Some debug stuff, MFC, and Camera is reserving themself on RAM too.
No derteufel increased it to about 340 mb in devil kernel
Edit : sorry 440 mb

You mean 439 mb. Yes he increased it but without camera at all and no video playable and that's the maximum ram for i9000..
So as I said cam reserved ram

This is not possible. The only thing you can do is moving your apps to the external SD card with e.g. Apps2sd or something.
