You may need to recover your device through odin, but 1st you should be sure that its going into download mode. To check it you may follow the steps below:
1. Take out the battery & put it back
2. Press the vol up & down button together
3. Now connect phone to PC via usb cable while keeping the vol buttons pressed.
The screen shall turn on and show downloading. If this is working then there is a fair chance to recover your phone.
I will shortly post a link to recovery steps.

EMERGENCY MODE.
To enter emergency mode and to connect with the LG Mobile update program, Make these steps.
1 / Remove the battery and disconnect the phone from the PC.
2 / Replace the battery and connect the phone with usb cable and not have to touch anything. Just drain the LG logo and then the battery charging until the screen turns off.
3/Con to screen off press the volume up button and the power (on), do not let go, get the logo but whatever tightened the buttons until it turns off the buttons and pantalla.Ahora loose them again tighten until you leave the message that you are installing the drivers, the screen should remain black, if you ever get the logo for the third time, start again because something has gone wrong.
4 / When the operation finishes installing the drivers, the screen will have a message LGMobile right center bar where it says phone connected.
If you install the Drivers and nothing comes on the screen of the program, restart your PC and rerun the program. You know you need to restart Windows for the changes to be saved.
In LG screen as I said nothing will come, are working at a low level, even before the first boot and the boot, so much **** you have no power to enter into this emergency mode.
To exit Emergency mode, remove the cable and battery. Then restart normally.

This method is for a optimus 3D,and this method is standard.
A bad flashing,or hard brick,this method work.
INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE
With the phone fully connected to LG MOBILE program, we will chop where it says "" Customer Support "" (this in the top bar of the program) and the last option "" Recovery Phone "" click on it.
Now get a message asking the IMEI and serial number, complete the two fields before CHECK. When the two fields are completed, pica at check IMEI, automatically pass to download mode, and complete installation. Be patient with this process as I said, takes about 20 minutes, depending on the speed of your internet access.
After the process, the phone reboots itself, quiet it is not broken, you have to remove the battery and USB cable. Replace the battery and boot normally.
With this action, you regain the broken phone, updating to the latest telephone base and recover the terminal as manufactured, but accessories operators.
Two curious things, updated the phone once, when you start really has respected your installed programs.
Also respect everything you have in the internal memory of 8 gigabytes.
To delete all your phone and you can do it from the original RECOVERY LG, making WIPES or from your phone on this route. -Privacy Settings
NOTE:
In the first try do not wait close the logo. No press long the keys when for the drivers appears to install. Once instaladado, make the process, but this time the logo wait turns off and turns apreatar power buttons and volume up.

Something is wrong and, for me is not the phone or computer...
Can you download again the kdz-update folder, this time put it in "desktop", download a fresh kdz file, better a v10a, later you can upgrade...
Reinstall "msxml", put a copy the downloaded kdz file inside of kdz-update folder and work from there.
Try to flash it now.
Don't forget to see if you have at least 50% of battery charge and wait a while untill you hit start upgrade.
Another thing, this time use "X3_2008_v0.0.6.9.dll" as (of course....) .dll
Good luck :good:

safe mode is NOT the way to restore with the modem driver, as it does not enable in that mode, but only ADB does, which is worth nothing here.
you need the low level start, where you get a black screen when its enabled.
your attached log shows a perfect flash

your problem seems just to be that you are still not factory reset, and the data partition is ruined.
you fatal error is reported in windows with the application failing, which could lead to a totally different problem which is your pc got updated and the .NET is not working correctly or your LG driver is changed, reinstall those drivers.
but anyways your flash was a success, so all you can do is get factory reset properly. I do recall the recovery triggger and i do not remember if it had all the factory reset options but believe so.
Phone locked up while using web browser. Turned it off. Pulled battery. Tried to restart. No powerup. Nada. It's rooted with Jocala's custom kernal on the stock, current-update ROM. CWM installed. Study these symptoms and comment on whether it is dead due to hardware or software fatal, unsolvable issues:
1. When I try to boot up by holding in power button and volume up button, nothing happens. It does not turn on and does not boot into recovery regardless of how long I hold those two buttons in.
2. When I try to do the factory reset trick of holding the volume up/down entire button pressed in (not power up or power down but the whole button pressed in) plus the power on button, the screen lights up with the SAMSUNG name in white, and then immediately the screen goes black and white letters up top read RAMDUMP MODE. Cause: Force Upload. That stays on forever and ever until I power off the phone or pull the battery, and the whole thing repeats if I try the process again.
3. I tried pulling the battery and holding in the power button for about 20 minutes and that didn't fix anything.
4. Booting by holding the volume-down button and power on boots into the "WARNING -- A custom OS can . . ." screen with the exclamation point in a yellow triangle , and I can use the volume up key to continue with the loading a custom OS, and when I do volume up, I get the ODIN Mode screen, the android robot icon and the words "Downloading . . . Do not turn off target!!" If I plug into my computer, the computer doesn't recognize the phone. When I plug it in with Kies turned on, Kies says it is trying to connect, but it never connects, even if I let it plugged into Kies for hours. I don't get a Kies error message, either.
I have tried all these tricks with SIM card in and SIM card removed. With MicroSD card installed and MicroSD card removed. I have tried spare batteries from my other phone that are good and fully charged. I have tried using different USB cables that work for data transfer on my other phone. Am I missing a trick? Is this patient dead on the operating table? Must I part with $175 to buy a new phone? Please, Android doctors, provide some patient consultation. Thanks.

Yes, current drivers are installed on the computer. When you say "then run the Odin program," what do you mean? My plugging in process was simply to get into the Odin Mode and then I plugged it into the computer. At that point, in Windows Explorer, the computer did not recognize that an external device was plugged in. I would normally get a new F and D drive showing when I plug a phone in.
I am not aware of what this "Odin program" is that you mentioned. Please elaborate. After my initial root process, I have used CWM to flash zips off the microsd card and have not been plugging it into the computer to do things, so I might be deficient in my knowledge of what to do with the computer when the phone is in Odin mode. Thanks for any insight you can provide.

I am getting some hope. But since I can't boot the phone, I can't get in to make sure USB Debugging Mode is selected. Will this prevent me from connecting to ODIN? I found the ODIN download and the recommendation to also download drivers for DOWNLOAD, and I'll do that. But will the USB Debugging issue cause me difficulty? I can't get to this until this evening, so that's why I'm asking rather than just trying. Please advise. Thanks!

Using Odin without ROM saved to internal memory?
Will I be able to use ODIN to fix the phone if I haven't yet saved the replacement ROM to the phone's internal memory? The instructions I see for using ODIN all seem to assume that the phone is working and booting up, and they start with the instruction to save the new ROM file to the phone's internal memory. Since I'm trying to restore a bricked phone, without having the ability to first copy the ROM onto the phone's internal memory, what are the steps I will follow upon opening the Odin software and connecting the phone? Thanks again for the input so far. Maybe I can save this bricked phone (my girlfriend's phone -- so I will look like a true hero).

OK i see your confusion. On the wiki there are two types of ways to return to stock. One is through recovery, which i am assuming you can not get into. The second is the Odin way. If you can get to recovery that would be safer. I think the way that works for me is take out the battery, plug in USB, hold volume up and insert battery.

Odin is going to flash the stock ROM to the phone. You don't need to copy anything to it. The steps you need to follow are in the link I posted to the wiki.

Hi!
My phone is no longer detectable on my PC via USB (Win7 and Linux), with adb or nvflash with vol+ + vol- or vol- + power or anything.
This problem come from the last official stock update, like what, it's crazy. And no access to hidden menu, etc.
Then, after, trying to solve this problem by applying http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1981359, by using Rom Manager to replace TWRP by CWM recovery (I know, it's very bad idea...), now my phone don't want to boot in recovery mode, I probably corrupt my system.
Now I have a brick, which can boot and display "S/W Upgrade Please wait while upgrading..." with vol down, but no usb IPX mode or adb or anything (to be sure, I try with another android phone, and work perfectly).
In normal boot, I have LG logo, then rom logo (an X in color), and no change, this animation continue but no end.
I had try many usb cable, reinstall lg drivers and nvidia drivers, different pc and os...
Can we restore recovery mode with special scheme, file, on a sdcard only by boot the phone?
I'm very interested in any ideas that can unlock me.
A big thank you to the community!

So I decided to remove the battery and use a spare one I had in my stuff, and the phone turned on, and when i turned it off again I could reuse nvflash to get back to stock
Did you try something like that, or only charrging the phone for a few hours to see if comes back ?

Remove battery.
Press and hold volume- key.
Connect USB cable.
Still press volume- key.
Release when you see screen says "S/W" download.
Insert battery back.
If it worked use smartflash to flash a rom. If the screen still black, then you should try it on another pc. There is no way to screw up the nvflash mode with a bad flash or anything. Keep in mind that keys can be unresponsive during the years. It is realy hard to set my phone to nvflash mode since my volumkeys are unresponsive. I have to press them so hard that my phone nearly break in to half.
If it still not works change usb cable. Check the device manager for devices with a ! in a yellow triangle. If you see that you have some kind of driver issues. If all of these fails to revive your phone, then your phone is dead.

unfortunately it doesn't work, try with a new pc and a new cable... no change. My usb slot in my p990 is probably dead. what is infuriating is the rest works well.
Did you use fast charge with any ROM ?
USB fast charge can damage the USB connector
Did you try using the method to check if the device connects to computer with nvflash, since it does not require battery ?
Try checking this and if the USB connection broke you can send your device to a repair shop to replace it, or even search ebay, aliexpress and etc to find spare parts, and if you do so, I recommed get an extra battery (non original batteries are cheap)
good luck

That is probably a myth.
Try to use a very short usb cable and use the ports on the backside of the pc ( not a laptop!), I always had problems with the front usb ports.
SO I really dunno what could possible made this device die
I nevr had big issues with mine like this, but the closest thing that hapenned when the device stopped working, and did not charge, was to put another battery and this helped
is someone selling this the whole USB flex hardware? I wanna buy it. I am from Philippines.
Hello, my young brother just bootlooped his new phone, he tried to root the device.
He was following this tutorial - https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p9lite/how-to/guide-unlock-bootloader-twrp-root-t3405701
Unlocking bootloader went fine, then installing TWRP went (probably) fine, then the phone needed another factory reset. And since that moment, there is just "Your device has been unlocked..." and we can't do anything. Going to recovery is impossible. The battery is above 50% so waiting for it to go down on its own will take over a week.
We have a backup made with HiSuite.
I'm not really into huawei, so I've not a single clue what to do. Please, help us guys. Thanks in advance.

Just HOLD Volume Down & Power Button Together . Realese Power Button & HOLD Volume Down button when Huawei Logo Appear than You reboot to TWRP(If Install)
Just cheack TWRP installed or not
It's not installed. I have no idea how to boot into system, it just loops. I can't even enter fastboot mode.

Turn of your phone than HOLD Volume Down button than connect to usb than yout phone reboot into fastboot
That's what I try to do. Fastboot doesn't load when i hold volume down + power. I can't turn the device off because it just continously starts over and over again. The phone starts normally when battery goes down completely, system loads but then phone goes off due to lack of battery.

there are 2 sugestions, got in fastboot, im sure, its working if do it properly and instal proper recovery, for your model. second, use dc phoenis here
ps. why this post are in p9 not p9 lite forum?!
Well, I plug the device to PC using usb cable and when it's bootlooping I hold volume down and power button. That's how i was entering fastboot before. Now it doesn't work.
I've got stock recovery.
hold power button ~30 sec, force restart. even then nothing? well, if fastboot not working, then its gone. Ofcorse, there need to be a way, how you put on board files to work software, but im sure, thease things have only huawei.
The phone is just bootlooping, nothing else. If the battery goes down and i plug it to its charger I'm able to boot normally into the system. But once i try to turn it off it bootloops again.
