How to install:
If you are coming from an earlier build:
Download the new update.zip and put it on your SDCard.
Reboot into ClockworkMod Recovery.
Flash the new update.zip
[Optional]Flash a custom kernel
Reboot your device and enjoy!
If you are coming form another rom:
Download the new update.zip and put it on your SDCard.
Reboot into ClockworkMod Recovery.
Format /system and /data from ClockworkMod Recovery.
Install the latest update.zip.
[Optional]Flash a custom kernel.

Thanks to Owain94 for the thread layout.

I am still waiting for approval from t3hh4xx0r to be part of their team, I have tried contacting them in multiple ways. Once I am in, you are able to download nightlies and stables and themes and kernels from the rom itself. A current workaround is to change all occurences in build.prop from p990 to p999 and rebooting. Be sure to not download any rom or kernel though! They are for the american g2x.

It is already in there! hard to see in the screen's, but you should be able to recognise the charging animation in the lockscreen screenshot

This rom has different mods. It will soon include upgrades from the rom itself. Things it has as a bonus are things like a music widget, hiding icons from the status bar, a miui-style battery bar, moving statusbar widgets to the bottom, a custom launcher, a custom carrier name and other interesting stuff. Why don't you give it a try?

Quite fast actually, comparable to CyanogenMod in my opinion, but I guess my opinion is biased. You can use vorkkernel on this, by the way.

It is not, unless you call every non-aosp rom CyanogenMod..
Differences are that OMGB is very close to AOSP, where OMFGB has more mods. Some from cm and some completely new.

This should contain all languages, OMGB is English only, to make the system as small as possible, but I could compile multilanguage builds of OMGB..

thanks neko for your great work in this forum...but maybe you'd better to solve the theme bug first then release this rom. because when people see that it has a bug they prefer to wait until the bug get fixed. so i am waiting for the next version to try. give it as soon as possible...thanks

This is basically a tweaked Ginger Snap with a different theme. I'm getting 23 hours with normal to heavy usage on GS so this one should be similar.

This is JUST THE START of a project that I have been working on. Basically I have a
very stable base with a great set of options to customize the phone to your personal

of the Android development I have done in the past has consisted of device ports and this
is my first real go at a AOSP source based ROM. I take NO CREDIT for any of the

Most of the stock apps are already inverted, but I'm sure the inverted GAPPS will work just fine.
On a side note, how is everything running for everyone? Is it smooth enough? I don't have a Nexus S, so I can't test it personally... Keep me updated..

Guys please don't start asking for stuff ALREADY for crying out loud. You have a new ROM and most of the features are listed in the OP. Try to talk about any bugs or the stuff you like about it. And please, no comments about battery life being bad!

Is this a 4.2.2 rom? Is the Kernel OC'able?
Will give it a spin later tonight. My phone is starting to show it's age after this week's IO releases. The new Music and Hangouts are painfully sluggish on CM10 :crying:

I really love the rom so far, running very smooth. Did a clean install and so far the only bug I have had " I can't speak for others," is every once in a while the lockscreen glitches and is off center. Turning the screen off and then back on fixes it. So it isn't major. Over all very nice. Thank you Team Insomnia, this rom was well worth the wait. :beer: :thumbup:

Yes! Great battery life, awesome performance, vast customization, this rom has everything our 4.2.2 roms need!

Amazing work love the boot animation gave it that wow factor when you first install the ROM.

Chameleon OS (or ChaOS for short) is a custom Android ROM that gives the user more control than they can experience on any other Android ROM. First time installing to your Galaxy S II, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery
- Boot into Recovery
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Wipe cache and dalvik cache
- Flash Chamelon zip from internal SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from internal SDCard
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
- Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!
Upgrading from earlier version of Chamelon Version
- Copy Chamelon ZIP to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash cDroid zip from internal SDCard
- Reboot

Just go to developer option change root access to app n adb reboot and your su is good ...
If you may have know this issue there would not be any problem ...

Black Prince, just asking for opinion. I like this room as its theme ability. Apart from root problem, any bug appear like theme not working completely or anything? I know I should test my self but once I flash a ROM I have to wait a pretty Long time until have time. Is it good for daily device? Thank you for replying.

You have to wait for Sunday as I will update my all threads...
Most of the bugs should be gone by then ... Its buggy than carbon and best is crdroid ... I don't know what update will bring, bugs or stability... We both have to wait for Sunday...
