What do you mean? Are you trying to boot to recovery from the advanced power menu? Can you not get to hboot by removing your battery, replacing your battery, holding Vol- and PWR til Hboot starts? Can you start HBoot, but when you select recovery, recovery doesn't start? Little more info please..
I can get into h-boot by removing the battery but when I select recovery it just get stuck at the HTC logo but my phone boots normally

Sounds like you need to flash a custom recovery. To do this you'll need the bootloader unlocked. Once you flash a custom recovery, you'll see different things when you choose recovery
Oh ok, my bootloader was already unlocked so I guess is i just re-flash CWM that should fix the issue right?

Can you get to the Recovery by taking out the battery, then holding home+power? If so, put the update on the root of your SD, go to the Recovery, wipe, then update. Let me know what happens.
The only ways to brick a phone is to interupt a flash, or flashing the SPL before the radio. If you can enter recovery or fastboot you can recover the device. But we need more information in order to help you with your specific problem.

I've used it without issue. You did select recovery after you flash it right?

Yes, I did. I tried "adb reboot recovery". I tried select recovery in bootloader. It just boot, reboot and then boot normal. No error but no recovery...:crying:
This is embarrassing.....I powered off, walk out of the room. When I come back and try again, it works ......
I was trying for about an hour but never think of "power off"........
Thanks,

No problem. It's a little weird the first time I flashed it 3 times and then finally it went. Maybe it's something with the fact once we update our recovery our phone becomes bootloader unlocked.

Our phone is always bootloader unlocked... You meant "***Tampered***" ?

Yep. It says unlocked and then when you flash it goes to tampered. Maybe that's why it's a little sticky about going into recovery after.

I installed the Apolo7 Rom and after the installation via Aroma, it said something along the lines of the root being damaged and when it re-booted it loops on the start up screen and won't go into recovery mode. I can get it into fastboot to powerdown.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! :good:

Thanks majmoz,

I followed Seanie's advice here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/help/help-tmobile-htc-m7-stuck-bootloop-t2835015
But it didn't work at first...
I found that I needed a very specific version of TWRP for the 802w. This is found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2467536
It is the 2.7.0.0b version. When you use this version with the above advice from Seanie it seems to boot into the TWRP recovery just fine.
I also recommend this link for all other matters related to the 802w HTC One: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2495697
Hope this helps! It certainly helped me...

I have try to root with odin and cf autoroot and all work fine, then I have installed twrp for 815 5.0.2 version. After the installation the tablet restart on recovery mode, I try to make a backup and twrp works good but at the restart the tablet is in bootloop.
I can’t shut down. I can only access download mode and not recovery mode.
I have flashed the original firmware with odin and odin says PASS but at the restart it is bootloop again. I try to flash twrp again and odin says PASS, after this I can read on the start screen (the only one I can see) “recovery is not nandroid enforced”. I tried different firmware but nothing work.
Someone can help me?

Boot into recovery POWER +HOME +VOL DOWN then as soon as the screen goes blank immediately change to VOL UP whilst still holding the other buttons.
Wipe data. If that doesn't work then factory reset.
Thanks for the answer. I try more than 100 time but it don't go in recovery mode. I tried to complete discharging and then recharging with the buttons pushed. Nothing. Every time it's stuck in the start screen and i can't shut down.

Not possible.
Try booting to Download mode then hit CANCEL then immediately hold HOME + VOL DOWN + POWER make sure you hold the buttons in that order and you must be quick.

Hi All!
I would like to share with you how I fix the preblem after root of my T815.
After long night and reading whole net I found the solution.
As you I also wants to root my device because of availible only one user. I wanted to have multiusers. So folowing the instructions downloading all software and after root I got bootloop. Trying everithing but no success. I wasn't able to flash even some of the stock ROMs.
Solution:
I found in Sammobile what is my current ROM and downloaded it. Then flash - no any problems. Went smooth. Then I root the device... and now I have rooted device with multiuser support.
It seems that after fresh flash everithing is OK. It seems that after you playing with your device for a while you enabled some options thats make your device to loop after root.
I wish you Happy New Year!
Nikog
Whoops sorry, I completely forgot to come back to you about this!
Glad you got it sorted.

It was a late night for me last night and working late again tonight.
If I get the opportunity after work I'll get something up, but if not it may be tomorrow on my day off.
