Aokpcb rom 5/26/2012

hello everyone,
this is a port of the AOKPCB ROM
put into jokers cm9
brought to you by
Team Moto Tegra
instructions:
flash on top of an already running cna,aokp,gummy, or jokers cm9 with just wiping caches.... coming from any other rom will require a full wipe (turl,miui,cm7,stock any of these will require full wipe)
for fresh install: for best results a fresh flash is recommended
format, system, data, cache,
flash rom, flash rom, flash gapps,
fix permissions then reboot phone
trouble installing using that method? try this one found here

i honestly dont know cant flash it so far is themed out on the photon seems like pretty much aokp but themed.. give a flash and see i dont own a atrix so i cant tell you

Man you guys been popping out ROMs left and right , this truly is Sunday fun day LoL !

The only differences between this and AOKP Milestone, for example... I guess would be the theme and some other customisation options.
Cool, spleef. Wasn't expecting another port of yours so fast. Keep 'em coming, perhaps you have a Windows 8 ROM somewhere there in your PC?

sorry had to edit seemed rude of me....buddy you point the the way of a compatible rom and ill put it on ours phones

killer boot screen booted and is on optimization of apps.
so will post shortly see how it performs

Try the zip that they used for gummy?! That fixed root issues with that rom..

k uping with battery mod for you guys storage mod and hopefully correct su.. if not let me know ill pull su from the fix zip and use it.... please test performance and other functions for me so i knopw if its fully working.. thanks again everyone...be sure to thank my boy bill for walking me through the edit just now
10 min left the link in thread on the download page is disabled i deleted the file and am reuping its named the same so just remember if you download it again to move/delete/rename the old....thanks everyone enjoy a different flavor of aokp

no mod for now i wanted to get it out ther working first then add mod in and its easier ti troubleshoot that way the tab mod will be a flashable zip to add it in... to remove just reflash the rom will be a few days tomorrow wanting to fix up the wipe all/wipe cache zips for you guys so you can use them too as well as fix any issues in the roms we recently posted so if you guys got any issues or request feel free to lay them down in the correct rom's thread......have a great night im signing off pc but i always have my phone .

how root permissions? I noticed init.d tweaks wanted to fc on the Photon IMO hit wait it eventually asked to allow and now opens fast

Try su from gummy thread now for root .. Let you know in bit how it goes.

so this is first aokp jb rom... for arc not for pro
not really an ota as the edify_creator is not working andi didn't have time to make a ota manually
this is system.img

the kernel most probably is not a working one... so use it over a ICS kernel (eg CM9 or sirkay or AOKP m6) only.
the system.img can be flashed through fastboot or if you want you can just unyaffs it and create your own OTA using dsixda kitchen or whatever....
to use it
fastboot flash system aokp_test1_system.img
or just use dsixda kitchen to turn it into a update.zip
I DO NOT have the device so i don't know if it boots.
It's not for daily usage. It's not even alpha
If possible you can help by sending logcats, kmsg, dmesg etc etc will be extremely helpful.
Any one who wants to use this build for porting purposes are free to do. I have no issues.

do you read the OP?
you can flash it via fastboot.
like how you flash kernels.
fastboot flash system <.img file>
definitely will give this one a go, soon, got bad connection currently.

i cant tell u hoe to install this but i can tell u how to install this..
its for fastboot
requierements:
- unlocked BL
- fastboot installed on PC
- fastboot drivers
- flashtool [not needed 100%]
install everything than turn off phone, hold menu while u connect to PC and than select in flashtool fastboot mode--->kernel.img
than fastboot mode--->system.img select rom, wait and reboot

ok, kernel seems to be defect. got blackscreen... no logo, no bootanimation, only blackscreen (backlight turned on)
does the kernel have animation? Or must i wait 5 minutes for boot?

you need to work out how to install this...
i DO NOT have an arc or else i would have released only a finished product....
i just had some free time to make an anzu build so here it is....
even if it does not boot, at least it's good porting material for people like jjdoctor...
but to fix anything at all i need logs

ah, sry, cm9 working with cm10.. ok?! lol, flashing CM9 kernel and report!!

How to instal guide
1. open fleshtool
2. set your phone to fastboot
3. open fastboot menu
4. look at pichure
5. select *.img

i'm testing the rom and it's fast and stable, i'm not sure if it really have android 2.3.7 (don't know the difference)
dont have flash in the rom (you can flash it by yourself), uses rafael baugis kernel and the only thing i dislike is the ying yang in the loading logo.
here are some screenshots.
btw, sorry for my english, i'm from Chile.

Works and looks nice but think it would be better if it was theme was build in instead of using halo launcher :good:

i've tested this rom..it works fine but i get a problem...
i'm unable to get root access, superuser app is not opening, and i cannot use titanium backup!!

i was using mobilego to restore contacts,apps and this problem got autofixed after restore...dnt knw how!

Oh look the same facebook group an same guy that copied the Retribution Beta 3.5 Release an probably others an not given no thanks or asked permission!!!
I wouldnt be suprised if this rom isnt even by Berk Şemsioğlu and its just the build prop edited to look that way on the phone info screen???

So this can be flashed with the recovery and then you have the stock kernel? At least a way to flash the stock kernel without Odin ^^

Well I've never tried it but if you got the zip file of the Rafael kernel (the boot.img one obviously) and replaced the boot.img inside it with the one I posted then I can see no reason why it wouldn't work.
However, this is partly why I have recently asked the question is it possible to boot into download mode without a working boot.img? My inclination is 'yes, it runs off the bootloader' but nobody seems to know the answer. So until I find out I'm hesitant to try it without being certain just in case something goes wrong.

So . . . I was installed your kernel and i have a boot loop in Samsungs logo. And the wierd parts of booting phone is the menu and back buttons with flashlight illuminates for a second I can't boot up my phone in Recovery but i can into Download Mode.

I get CWM package with Rafaels kernel and only change his boot.img to yours. Package was installed OK but your kernel wan't to boot up correctly In package are busybox, your boot.img and bmlunlock.

I will test it tomorrow becose now I am going to work and don't have time. I will test it on clean install stock firmware
