Guys how does one calibrate the sensors on SGS. All the see is the one meant for the touch screen.
Menu -> Display -> Horizontal calibration.
Froyo required.
This way only display is calibrated right???
that does not calibrate the screen. it's not like those pda phones where you need to calibrate your screen when using stylus.
Menu -> Display -> Horizontal calibration (this does what you want)
Yes it's sensors, why else would you have to put it on a flat surface ^^
Hi!
I have followed the post "[Gingerbread]{file}Button Back-Lights like they used to be" from speldenaar,
It work for me and I'm thankfull, but : my lcd backlight seems not as bright as before (in auto mode).
Did someone experiment the same issue ?
All working fine.
You probably aer aware of those below; but anyway:
1. check if charged over %10
2. check if environmental lightning causing this
3. check with disabling auto backlight.
Regards, K.
I calibrated my G1 once and G-sensor was working good then now all the sudden the G-Sensor is not working correct, i tried to recalibrate it but there are no G-sensor calibration option in settings....

Hello,
I made a factory reset using the privacy setting...
And since then, the brightness setting is grey and i can't adjust it.
Why ? What can I do to get this back to normal ?
Thanks.
The light sensor doesn't appear when using Sensor Test app...
Is it dead ?
Brand new optimus is already dead... great.
Hmmm... So you haven't rooted? In that case try to do a factory reset again and if that doesn't work then you I think you should return it to LG.
I don't know what happened, but now I can adjust it again...
BUT, when I select "Auto Brightness", the screen brightness never changes, even when I'm in a dark room...
Also, I still don't see any "light sensor" on the Sensor Test app...
Can you tell me if you see a light sensor on your optimus 2X in Sensor Test app ?
I'm gonna call LG I think... what a shame.
Hmm do you mean this? I can adjust screen brightness normally...
Thanks !
I have all the sensors but no light sensor appears.
It seems the light sensor of my Optimus 2X is already dead !!
I'm gonna call LG... 1 day of use, and already dead. Damn !
Do you use a custom ROM?
The auto brightness isn't working for me on the Cyanogenmod ROM.
I'm not but the previous owner of the phone might have used a cyanogen mod...
Because the system IMEI was different from the one on the sticker behind the battery !
Now it's running V10B stock rom but the light sensor is not detected... It's either dead or it's a firmware problem. I don't know !
For me auto-brightness it´s ok but I can´t change the values with MIUI. All of them are to -1.
Replacement touchscreen calibration problem on Android
I had to replace the digitizer on my C9J7 dual boot tablet. After finishing the calibration of the values was way off. I could fix it quite easily in Windows 8.1 through the calibration tool, but under Android 4.4 I can't find a way to do the calibration.
Currently Android places the touches in a small top left area of the screen, even if I touch the lower right corner. I tried using and IDC file, did not help, apparently you can't set the calibration parameters there at all.
Code:
dumpsys input
shows that both axes have set a max value of 4096 which is probably wrong and causes the problem.
Any ideas on how to solve this? Can I somehow adjust the values in the driver or anywhere else?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Hello, do you remember the cable code of this digitizer?
