Had the upgrade and chose the xl beats, i tried the htcdev unlock process but each time i just get an error when i type the first command into the dos prompt, but my hboot does say locked too.
Is there any options to go through to see if i can unlock it and get s-off
The annoying part too is my xtc clip does not support the sensation which is a real pain, does anyone else get errors when trying to use htcdev to unlock the hboot
There is no s-off for the SXL yet. There is a donation thread in the dev section to get alpharev onboard though. As for unlocking your BL, it would be useful if you told people what the error is your getting.

I think 1.25.0004 hboot it still unlockable for now. My version is the same too.
i unlocked my 1.25.0004 without any problems
I will wait till they release ice scream snadwhich before flashing a new ruu to it, think the real thing is if we can get that s-off.
Finally found the reason behind that error message,
the machine i was on was running windows 7 and the android platform was all installed but the drivers for the hboot side of the phone were not correct,
stuck it on my xp box and it worked perfect so now my bootloader is unlocked

Hey guys,
I've read that the Rogers version (HTC Raider) CAN have it's bootloader unlocked (unlike the AT&T Vivid, correct me if I'm wrong), however I get stuck at "Waiting for device" in the command prompt, much like this:

"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
Is there anything I missed?!
You probably aren't in fastboot mode...first type adb reboot-bootloader. And thanks for rubbing it in.
I was in fastboot afaik (hold down power + volume down and selected fastboot then press power)... I read somewhere that the Windows driver might need an update, I just reinstalled HTC Sync so I'll try again
EDIT: That was it! I didn't have the proper drivers (I assumed Win7 installed them automatically, but I needed HTC Sync). It's unlocked now! AT&T users: sorry for rubbing it in! lol
I assume this will work for the Bell Raider too. I'll give it a try when I get the time.
@cedrikfd could u plz specify this step by step because i can't get it to work for over 2 days!!!
I'm stuck on this step
The AT&T Vivid bootloader can be unlocked through HTCdev.com.

This happened to me when i unlocked a few weeks ago. You just need to unplug your phone then install htc sync, if its installed remove it and then install it again. Follow the same steps and it should work.
I understand that by S-OFF it would enable me to eventually debrand my phone.
Can i ask, what other steps apart from gaining S-OFF on my phone would I need to do to remove the branding from my HTc one.
I'm new to the rooting scene, So as much help as possible would be greatful.
Also, by debranding would I get OTA updates from HTC and not my current provider, Three.
You put your one in s-off.
After you change the cid with the supercid and now, you can flash an european ruu and you will get OTA from HTC!
Bye Bye Brand

Also one more thing, If i s-off and flash a custom RUU, would I still be able to contact Three to carrier unlock my phone or would I have todo this by other methods?
Thanks,
Alex

You will have to unlock your bootloader, flash a custom recovery, run a stock rom supported by rumrunner so you can gain s-off

Hi, I've got HTC One M7 with faulty camera, microphone, vibrator, wifi/bluetooth which I want to send on warranty fix. I almost return it to stock, but still need right RUU for "ORANGB10" cid. I found some ruu zip file with 1.28.69.8 but it doesent work, flashed it and it stucks on HTC logo. at bootloader I can see that:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After S-ON lock bootloader will be look like untouched, It is possible to send it to HTC on warranty fix like totaly faulty phone or it must be some working firmware ?
Maybe anyone will be got any info about ORANGB10 cid ruu ?
You need to downgrade your hboot first, your current hboot is too high for that ruu, you will need hboot 1.44 and then the ruu should work fine.
