[Q] - Samsung Galaxy Mini

I was using CM 7.5 Squadzone, so I finally I'm testing mebitek realease..
Can someone answer me, why the digital button "back" that is used on tablets it isn't on this rom? Is anyway to add that back button on Cyanogen mod by Mebitek..?
I used it cause my back button is damaged...
Thanks a lot.

it's because the soft buttons are squadzone's mod.. it will not be added to mebitek's since it is not an official feature of CM7.. just install button savior or virtual buttons for softkeys on mebitek's rom. if not, then you can go back to squad's.. n

Led with blue
thanks for help, but the buttons still dont work (no function, not act as what it should do)
I tried the unofficial CM10 by BPaul and found the buttons work well
I'm wondering if the kernel is the key?
BPaul used kernel 2.6.35.9 'cause the stability, but the camera doesnt work
the kernel 3.08 fixed the camera, but lead to the buttons issue...
thanks for your patient and help again

[Q] How do you take screenshots with AOSP Jelly Bean

I am running Supernexus AOSP JB 4.1.2 on my SGN with the standard CM kernel and I would like to find out if anybody running any JB roms on there SGN has taken screenshots and what methods have worked for them. I have previously on ICS roms used the Spen or Vol down + Power buttons but these methods are not working. I also know there is another method of Home + Power but this also doesn't seem to work.
Try going to system settings -> system -> power menu then tick screenshot. That should enable a screenshot option when you hard press the power button...

you were trying to enter bootloader mode/fast boot mode right?.....you cannot do that on X8... Volume down + power button does not work....X8 does not have that feature
X8 WAS USING BACK KEY TO BOOT, FLASH OR RECOVERY.
Recovery for keep pressing back when power on.

I don't care about thanks meter so if he dont feel like hitting it for me or he just dont know the button exists its the same for me, I'm just glad i helped, in any cases I'm not gonna beg for thanks.

5. Instead of posting “Thanks for XXX”, click the THANKS button. This is a growing concern among many members. There are at least 1000 posts in every section that just say “Thanks”. These are considered spam and will eventually be deleted by a moderator and the poster may receive a warning. So instead of wasting time and energy to write thanks, click the THANKS button. It was made for that purpose. Use it.

And what does this mean?
He's spamming because he show some gratitude while your post of making him giving thanks is ok? your post is the spam here.
I agree that the "thanks" posts is spamming at the dev threads and guides but he asked something and i helped him, why not posting "thanks"?
Again, if he want to post "thanks" instaid of hitting the button its the same for me, and i dont see any spam in his post...

[Q] Volume scroll touch in CM7

I just wanted to know how to implement the feature of touch based volume control like in ICS roms in CM7 roms like mebitek i.e cyanogenmod..
I know itz present in CyanmobileX but that rom is too full of features ad cm7 by mebitek is better than that.
and the question is because my power button not working. i have remapped volume up for power button. hence cant increase volume in GB based roms. i have to use ICS because of this. bt they dont have good battery. some roms do have but ultimately ICS roms never match battery backup when compared to GB based roms.
Hence anyone who knows some developing or modding can u please tell me how to implement volume control using touchscreen.
Thanks in advance to all.....!!:good:

Instead of going through all the trouble just use a 3rd party app with widget to modify the sound else you can go again and again in settings...

[REQ]Long Press Back Button To Kill App On Stock ROM

Dose anybody know how to get the long press back button to kill apps on stock ROM or someone is willing to do such mod for stock ROM?
TIA

well, theres no app for that. its actually very simple to add it to a rom, you just have to build it into the settings. just about every rom includes it, except they are all aosp roms, not stock. considering that nobody can build a "stock" rom, only aosp.
