This is a testing build till we solve the MIC problem in KANG version.

ROM is based on LUPO beta 4

UI smoother than any other MIUI build

Performance tab added in settings
Battery problem is still there. 10% drain in each hour.
Video lags in 3GP format, use AVI it's working like charm.
Instruction:-
1) Please flash FK or ICS kernel striped by Arjen to get keyboard work.

2) To use all HDPI themes please make a "theme" forlder is data/ system using any root explorer.
3) If you want whatsapp the flash this Gapps

Coz its a different ROM....

get rid of the 'systemui.apk'... that *may* fix the status bar bug...
As I had seen in mastershefis's ROM, he has a MIUIsystemui.apk and systemui.apk...
That causes conflict between those 2...

I respect what he has done even Arjen does, its like having the (almost) same rom from two developers (guess i can call them devs or not). My previous comment would have contained an advise to fundooz to work along with master to perfect the rom rather than creating a new thread with the almost same rom.
For an example, you can see Arjen and Lupohirp themselves
But i didn't conclude that
Just stay calm and let everyone have their opinions

It's fine when people want to release rom's, but instead of cloning someones work it's better to work together on it. That's why I started helping Lupohirp because he was a little faster
We don't need 10 of the same roms, that's why my reaction was so harsh

FAQs - Read it first before you ask anything please.
Before posting an issue make full wipe via CWM at least once.
Requirements:
CWM Recovery
Our zip file
Instructions:
Download the FreeOptimusProject-xxx.zip
Backup your /data contents: contacts, apps, sms, etc. or backup via recovery
Enter CWM and:
- Select 'backup and restore -> Backup' (not necessary but recommended)
- Select 'wipe data/factory reset' (Obligatory)
- Select 'wipe cache partition' (Obligatory)
- Select 'advanced/wipe Dalvik cache' (Obligatory)
- Flash the FreeOptimusProject-xxx.zip. To do this, Select 'install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard' and select the FreeOptimusProject-xxx.zip
Reboot (first boot will take ~3 mins)
Please make sure you followed the above steps before reporting any issues, especially 'wipe data/factory reset'

That depends on you. You can see whats working and whats not. Obtain your answer based on that.

That could be another reason then why some people had no connection. Not all operators using GSM nowadays.

Hello and thank you. No, this isn't FOP nor I'm a member of the team. This isn't intended to fight FOP but to improve ICS for our device and turn our experience better and better.

Does it mean, that in some parts this rom differs from FOP 6a?
Maybe add some info about v6 supercharger (is it or not).
Im flashing and in few days will give feedback ; )

Since we are booth from Portugal and i´m a friend of NunoGil, I followed the development of this rom since the beginning and I must say that NunoGil devoted much time and dedication to this rom, he did the best he could to make the best ICS rom

Hello Navios91, thanks for trying this rom. I don't know what happened but try to flash it again following the installation procedures I posted because the usb storage is working properly. In other ics roms you have to enable debugging in order to enable usb storage but at this rom that issue is fixed and it works very well actually so please flash again since I tested the rom very well before publishing it and the only thing that doesn't work properly yet is the camera which haves mixed colors.

As I said in the above post the only thing that in not working at 100% is the camera and when you talk about hardware accelaration don't forget that we'r talking about a 2.6.35 kernel. I already tried to compile a 3.0.8 in order to have hardware acceleration but we will need to wait for lg sources. But this isn't a bug since the rom is ultra smooth and stable nor a rom problem. It is a kernel problem since we can't boot 3.0.* kernel

I will update this ROM every time, when aeroevan build a new one. Or, If I can make the dev. tree, I will build a new one once a week.
So, it's hard, because I have a very slow upload speed, and the poll seems like, more people want to see MODded CM10...

Meh, for my part it isn't that important whether or not the ROM is modded or not. But you did ask for what we prefer
And good luck with getting a functional dev. tree I'm gonna try it out tomorrow (the rom, not the dev. tree), as usual I've put my usb cable somewhere and I'm too lazy to go find it.

Two More bugs:
Everytime i want Tod type a URL in the standard Browser, the message Google search stopped unfortunately is coming
The second bug is, that there are graphical glitches when u are scrolling on a webpage in chrome or typing something like me now..and its really lagging while typing in chrome

I like this rom

Found a bug; after enabling and disabling wifi the 3g indicator lights up but no data is received. After rebooting mobile data works again.
NOTE: GPS status doesn't work properly with this rom although GPS is definitely working ok. Tried it with My Tracks, Waze and Sports Tracker. I did have some crashes with these apps though :-/

It's means sometimes can't connected to PC, but CWM's mount storage could handle it :laugh:
