Previously, in the google play store, this app had a message saying it wasn't compatible with my phone. After doing the official update to v20p, I am no longer receiving this message from the app store.
Can anyone confirm if this does work with the new firmware?
I am on froyo running the thriller rom and GTA 3 works just fine
Its working for me after the v20p update, no issues whatsoever with the game... for now at least.. xD

Is it just me out its anyone else having issues with the android market? I keep getting a server error. I am currently on i897UCJH3 with UNLEASH THE BEAST with no market access. It was working fine earlier today. Maybe after an update is when it went out, not too sure tho. Can anyone else confirm if the market is working on their device?

On my Moto Droid I'm not rooted, running the official OTA. Every since the update my sirius/xm app will not work properly. No matter what channel I listen to the audio will play for about 30 seconds then goes into a loop of the same audio. Anyone else experiencing this? Would it be Froyo related or possibly due to the app not bring updated since 2.2 dropped? Thanks for any info.

It's a combo of both, because Those apps are not updated to work with the new stock radio. You will need to flash to an older radio, like the one in the BB selections in ROM Manager.

I am pretty much a noob but I have seen several complaints about this. I have the stock Android 2.2 rom rooted. I dont know technically why this worked but I uninstalled Flash 10.3 update and uninstalled Netflix update. Redownloaded Netflix from Market and then applied Flash 10.3 update and appears to be working smoothly. I read one place that netflix doesnt even use flash but I cant explain why reverting fixed it

Never had this issue and this is a highly used app for my phone with 3 kids. Poor service / back grounded apps maybe ? Or maybe decrapified rom ftw?!

Does the Netflix app sense your connection speed? Considering your connection speed is constantly changing, it just overall wouldn't be a good app. I personally don't use it, cuz I don't like to watch on such a small screen. I get it with 3 kids, but my 2 kids know they will not be touching my $600 dollar phone.
Nevermind.. Ran smooth for one day then back to choppy. Even on wifi..

I understand that as far as kids touching them. I haven't every had a problem with my kids but given my back ground and the fact I run a small store and fix iPhone /android handsets its not a problem. I still don't gather why people are having issues with the Netflix app maybe its service.
I am having issues with NetFlix after the update
Just installed Revolt Rom 1.0 from the dev page.. so far Netflix is running smooth and the Rom is great. I will update if that changes..

Revolt 1.2 Seemed to make Netflix play even smoother, however it could just be a placebo effect for me
Hi, yesterday Netflix update came out that supposed to work with all device's. I downloaded from the market but still it's not working. Did you guys try it? Is it working for you?

Netflix works with cm7 for the thrill. Yes it is a beta somethings dont work like 3d and hdmi but you will have netflix
Same thing for me, blank screen than return to homescreen. Not installing a custom rom just to have netflix. 3D is the reason I bought this thing.
Like someone else mentioned, we'll most likely have to wait for 2.3 (gingerbread) in some shape or form before this app will work for us.
I'm hoping CM7 pans out quickly and gets some of the errors resolved. Its the only rom I've ever wanted to use on my captivate
Im running CM7 on my thrill and Netflix opens just fine. Dont know if it works fully but i imagine it does. Android 2.3.5 on here
Another netflix update
Just noticed that Netflix had another update today. I'm on stock rom (only rooted), and this version opens up fine and can play videos.
Now everybody can enjoy Netflix without needing a different rom.

Everyone will be seeing the change. It just depends on when your phone checks for the market update I guess. Mine updated today to the Play... Same thing different name. I really see no reason to change the name it's still just the Android Market.

My son's did before my note did. He had to factory reset it though as it kept saying the app didn't exist on his phone. Reset and the icon was changed and everything ok. On my phone it went through the update but kept the old icon which finally switched this morning.
