There is a belkin powerpack that lets you connect to your phone for extended power.I am not sure how much it cost but It looks like a candy bar.

Brodit made a very nice solution for HTC HD2...Take a look:
http://www.brodit.com/?main=searchbrodit.jsp&search=hd2
Brodit makes one of the best car holders, so the ones interested
check the above link!
Cheers!
I know .
They're supposed to be in stock next week over here, so just a few more days and then i'll be able to navigate on the big ass screen
Luxury Problem..
Darn.. Luxury Problem...
having a HTC Shift mounted with a Brodit Holder already,
there's no place to attach a second car-specific mount.
Have been looking for a suction-cup model specificly for HD2 no luck yet.
If only HTC shift would have SD access, that would solve many problems
THanks for the heads-up on this one though !
I was looking at this, got the car mount already for my now redundant Nokia N800. But I want the extended battery when it gets released too, and I want to ensure it will fit before I got for this.

I have a suggestion for you:
Buy a DC 12V to AC 220V for Car Power Outlet Adapter Inverter, and you can recharge hd2 all time while in the car without braking the battery!
Cheers!

Very effective... we transform 12VDC to 220VAC and then to 5VDC
Hi,
my usb port on my hd2 doesn't seem to function correctly anymore. I can read data from my sd directly on my pc, so no problem here. But is there anyway i can charge my battery (After it has been taken out my hd2) directly?
thanks

Yh, you can find some cheap docks which allow for both docking and charging of a secondary battery.
eg. Link to a dock
You can use a cheap charger or you can use this
http://www.amazon.com/Powermat-One-...sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=mobile&qid=1292304869&sr=8-1
I have one and it works well. Won't fit in a hardcase if you use one, and not super tight like the oem cover so a little squeaky, other than that it works great.
may be silly, but did you check in setting/other/usb to pc.....unchecked the checkbox?...(.donot charge while connected to pc?)

I have the same problem but I need a quick fix. I don't want to buy a dock. Does anyone know the "pin-out" of the battery? It has 3 pins. One should be +5V, another should be the GND, but what about the third. Which one is which?
Please help!

Bought it! It's works fine, but takes ages for the battey to charge... 350mA/h? Really?! Via USB it's 800mA/h tho. Still I'm happy with the buy Excelent for charging NOT original BP6X battery and not risking your phone health.
what's the reason you guys are using stand-alone chargers? lol, is the xt720 risky to charge through its microusb port?
Why is this link is no longer exist?

You never heard of having a backup battery fully charged? Kinda nice to have in case u can't have tour phone tied down to a USB cable. I have 3 batteries and never have to worry about a low battery.

Does anyone know or there is a car dock/cradle for our phone? Not just the universal car mounts.
Something like this: http://www.kidigi.com/product_lv2.php?pid=1394
Which includes a charging micro USB connection.
Cool
You can use it for optimus 4x
Not really, that one is for the Galxay S3.
Don't know or it will fit the P880, but that could be.
I'm searching for one that's universal or fits the P880 perfectly.
Cheap and good

I use the phone as dashcam, this model caters well for this purpose.
Although not beautiful.

I'm owning this it's around a year old now and I have to say, Logitech did a great job and the sound is very clear and at the same level as my PC which is connected via wire. So I can just recommend Logitech!
Thank you, it looks like a very good product. How long the battery last?
I found this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00TGX4YJ0/
Similar specs, lower price, bt 4.0 instead of 3.0, 400mA battery.
Someone tried it?
