hello xda i have an lg thrill 4g runing gb 2.3.5 its unlocked for simple mobile i whanted to know if theres any way to use my 3g or 4g cuz i only get the edge and as evry one nows it sucks lol i would be really thanckfull if some one would help me
does the network your on have 3/4g? and are you apn's set up right for simple mobile?

i had 4g switched to 3g and my internet is runing so the apn settings should be set up fine

Do you have 3 or 4g in your are my are only has edge but ten minutes away I get 3g

you need to flash a different baseband.
preferably V21D as is the one that supports Tmobiles wcdma network, and as we all know Simple Mobile uses Tmobiles network

you cant. its been explained 100 times on here. tmobile uses a different band for 3g, and the captivate isnt capable of running 3g on tmobile's network
Is there a way to get AT&T's "4G" network on the Captivate. Yes i meant to put apotraphoes around the 4G cuz its crazy slow compared to Verizon's 4G network!

i think most of the latest i9000 modems/roms have hspda enabled
Im on MIUI, so they have to be CWM 3.X.X.X/4.X.X.X compatible

Huspa is not 4G. Huspa+ is "4G". Att only gives Huspa support for the Iphones Captivates are blocked from that by default. IF you use a I9000 Gb rom you unlock Huspa support on your phone.
To clarify its 3G->Huspa->Huspa+

well...when you compare it to verizon, you should just give up....
att is not anywhere close to verizon when it comes to any kind of speed. tmobile's 3g is faster than att 4g

That of course all depends on location. My friend's my touch 4g is always slower then mine on speed test.

I lived in Jakarta, Indonesia with network band 800/1900 EVDO CDMA coverage.
can I use Revo in my country? (all the flashing and network registering available with Smartfren network)
Does the revo use simcard?
Im not planning to go with LTE, because its not available yet in my country

Yes it has a Sim card and the phone is useless without it.

in indonesia, we usually not using a simcard for cdma network
we called "inject", the mobile number registered through programing by operator (smartfren). like other cellphone which have a bad ESN can be flash to other carrier (MetroPCS/U.S cellular).
i was wondering, will the Revo can be flash and use in indonesia?

I guess it all depends on your network + phone. It seems like you are using the HSPA+ of the Xperia Z (C6602).
4G is applicable on the C6603 versions.
Why you want to change when it does not make a difference in your network speed?

No I don't think he's being shady I wondered the same I have a 6606 witch has t-mobile lte but when u flash the 6603 ftf for 4.2.2 it now keeps its let but now shows as h and h+

Go to: Settings - Mobile networks - More settings - Access Point Names
Now you need to create a new APN. For example, if you are using Movistar, follow this instructions:

You can see there the info that you need to put on the phone.
If you are with Telcel, google to find the APN, I don't have a link right now. I'm from Mexico, too. :good:
just switch to automatic instead of 3g and it should work
You must have bad APN. Figure what is the APN for your carrier and update it.
