Hi!
Try editing build.prop and adding the following line to the end of the file:
ro.ril.hsxpa=1
Then reboot and try. Please, comment here if it works or not.

With the official update in a few days, I hope.

yep, maybe. i rewrote all framework and gps doesn't work.. lol
i will stop fix it soon.
Works 4 me, thx.
But I just put the services.jar in framework folder with roorexplorer and did overwrite old services.jar.
I will test it tomorow and tell you if there are any bugs 4 me.
But at a quick look all seems to work fine.
Works. Thanks a lot.

Hey Guys! I am new here, please bare with me
I got this trick working on 2 devices of mine which weren't shipped with Soft Keys enabled :cyclops:
This is the easiest! And you don't have to edit framework-res.apk anymore :highfive:
Procedure:
Download Root Browser from Playstore
Go to System folder and open build.prop using Text Editor
Now add this line at the end of build.prop file "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0"
Reboot!
Voila! Enjoy Soft Keys on your phone
PS: I know I am not the only one who found this trick, I am sharing because I found it kinda cool
Credits:
Google for giving us such an awesome OS
All themers on XDA
All those people who are going to try this out
one doubt

They will work on any AOSP ROM. This mod only requires a change to the build.prop. Its adding one line to the build.prop and then rebooting. If you don;t like it then just delete the lines from the build.prop, save, reboot.
I tried it on my LG E980 CM 11, why there is still no soft-keys after the reboot, any help, please ?
EDIT: after trying the 4th time, I've got it works, thanks !
Thanks so much its working on my device
Alcatel One Touch Fierce
Running Android 4.2.2
Have anybody tried to add some tweaks in the build.prop?:cyclops:

PAC-MAN ROM
I am not responsible for bricked devices, or dead SD cards,
you would try this at your own risk,
if you point the finger at me for messing up your device,
I will laugh at you.
What's Working:
- WiFi
- Audio
- Hardware Acceleration
- Ambient Light Sensor
- Radio
- SD Card
- Video Recording
- Video Playback
- Bluetooth
- Camera
- USB Tether
- Bluetooth Tether
- GPS
- RIL
- WiFi Tether
Bugs:
Hopefully not ...
How To Install:
Do a wipe /system, /cache first. Do a full wipe, if you have problems.
Now flash ROM through recovery. You can select these options: Install ROM, Install GAPPS and Install fixes (if you dont install fixes, rom still buggy).
Reboot.
USE N.O.P.E or Prometheus Kernels (Recommended)...

Developer said on another forum that path for each ROM is individual, and now he's looking at the MiniCM ROM.
Nice work! I'll flash this if I find my Desire C.

Thanks for such a great ROM! It makes this aging HTC Desire C usable once more!
I've tried to install the Phone.apk to the handset but it fails with nothing more than "App not installed"
nemanjsb, is this something you encountered? How did you solve it?
Cheers

You just can't install system app, you must move it to /system/app and set correct permissions (644) via TWRP or good file manager ( ES File Explorer for example)

Ah yes, I managed it using adb in the end. The phone still crashes on incoming phonecalls though. Any ideas on how this can be patched up to work before a new release is pushed out?
Shame, as it's a great ROM with everything else working excellently.
Thanks

I have tried your mode and it works good but I still have the problem with my settings: I can't change the volume in Sound / Notification and it doesn't let me in in some options for example in Battery - Battery Use, Data Use, etc. I suppose is another problem with another mod of several that I have installed, thanks anyway.
