In 180 dpi you don't get the gaps but the phone app doesn't work properly
oh only if u would have seen this post like an hour ago, i was on slim ics 3.3 but switched back to cybergr v10 because of the screen lag i was getting, maybe compared to cybergr it is slow .. it was quite annoying.. i used apex launcher over it still the speed difference was ther
i do have a nandroid backup of it so when i restore it ill surely add pics here

Good.
I've tried one and work like charm (I tried 130 and 135 as well)
problem is ROM manager scale incorrectly even with 'compatibility mode' turned off
I already tried to search the forum but have no luck
is there a way how to overcome this?
thx

Yes, I did it several times but the problem still persist
edit:
I think this behaviour are not consistent. sometimes when I reboot it, it's back to normal, but when I reboot it again, It went wrong again
weird
EDIT:
I can confirm now that after killing 'whole' task using task manager (or similar app), the problem is (always) gone. still don't know the culprit though.
Excellent work here my friend. Cheers.
Great app... I'm running at 130.
May I know what is the default density of our Legend? Tried to Google before I flashed this but couldn't find any info...
Edit: I tried LCDDensity for root from market and it told me the default is 160. Change to 140 and it looks great
Maybe I'm totally noob, but what's the point of setting a LOWER LCD density if the default is 160?
Correct me if I'm wrong but the higher the density, more things can be added to the screen and it "seems" bigger.
I'll try also to see the difference
Later Edit: OK, I've checked now. Tried with 130 and a lot more info seems to fit on screen. I have some questions/issues though.
1. What 110, 120...130...160 means? For sure not DPI as was my initial understanding. Usually, the higher the DPI setting, more screen space is available. And in this case I got better screen with a lower number. Could be the value of the setting then? And lowering it it'll give you in fact a higher DPI setting? Don't miss understood me, I just want to understand some of the things not playing with them like a robot.
2. Some widgets are scaled incorrectly (Sense Analog Small Black is one of them for ex). Any way to overcome this or is by widget design and I should find a better one?
Found a fix for 2...set the columns in ADW at 5 instead of 4. Now the widget is drawn correctly and have an extra space remaining

When your adding a widget you'll have the option to set the size, set the width to 5 and you're widgets you want full width can be. I had to do this with my clock/weather widget.
I set it to 140 and it looks awesome! To bad that it shrinks the keyboard too..
it doesn't work for me on BlaYo rom ... does absolutely nothing ... any ideas?
Hi,
Here's my MIUI skin for Fede's UberMusic.
I've made quite a lot of changes from the skin template in line with the overall feel of MIUI, and allowed for full-width album art display.
Included are a 4x1 widget, and alternative landscape layouts.
To change the colour of the tabs, go to the Settings screen inside UberMusic, and change the accent colour to your favourite.
Download v1
Changelog
Final v1
- Much improved scrolling performance
- Added 4x1 widget
- Improved HVGA support
- Tab colour now follows accent colour (Thanks to TheGrammarFreak's suggestion)
beta2
minor tweak to now playing screen for HVGA

Yes, more color options should be easy to make
Now I would just need confirmation that this displays correctly on qHD screens. Seems not many Sensation, Atrix owners here to help me test it out
I have used your skins on a Super AMOLED (Fascinate) but just got a BIONIC & would love to have more UberMusic skin options .... supposedly the BIONIC has qHD display, but the other 50% say its pentile display (or is it somehow possible to be both, idfk ... ?)
I have spent the last few days trying to get this beast as 'customized' as I possibly can considering its 'newness' - going from CM7 ~> MIUI ~> STOCK MotoBlur (actually LauncherPro Plus/MotoBlur now) really makes me itch for some development in ANY/EVERY possible aspect !!!
LMK, if you want me to try anything else ... keep up the great work !
I love Fede's work/apps & will do my best to KEEP IT "THE BEST"

As far as I know, you can have both, pentile/non pentile concerns only sub-pixels iirc.
I would indeed appreciate some testers with qHD devices, the Bionic is one of them
Would you mind posting a screenshot of the 'now playing' screen from your device if possible? If not, does the album art stretch to fill the width in the above skin? I'm using 320dip for width and I'm not sure if it appears correctly for qHD devices.
Thanks!

Widget skins are not included at the moment, still working on them. I plan to release a 4x1 with the final version here, and another version onto the market for those who would want other Widgets.
Works great on my HTC Legend. I love the style, but I'm not a fan of orange. Is it possible to make the tabs at the top follow the colour in the "highlights" section of the UberMusic settings?
Hi everyone!
All is in the title
Since the new version of google doc is on the market, I desesperate to turn it in tablet mode with the last kang build of ICS. I don't know why and it's an bit frustrating to have only the display reserved to a smartphone on a 7 inch tab...
I believe that dropbox have the same problem too!
Am I the only one?
Or which reason do this? Lcd density?
Thanks for your responses guys!
Hi,
http://support.google.com/docs/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1688488
I have compared the two version and you lose nothing in my opinion. Tablet version does not adds so much compared to the phone version.
I am also using the same release. Try to set the dpi to 240 in LCD density and it should work however all the other things will be large.
Thanks!
Haven't try yet 240 dpi with ICS, will test this! I hope it's not too big^^
240 dpi will get you a phone vesion of ics. Try 120

You're right DKStalker, I tried and it's weird at 240^^, but it give a look of what looks like a phone on android 4, I can not wait of a good ICS rom on my wildfire now
With 120 dpi it works well and the new version of doc is really nice but go back on 160 because it was too small!
I hope google will fix this lack at 160 dpi in a new version soon^^
Thanks guy for your help

Thanks, that was a lot of work, but I like it better.
Is there any way you could make the signal icons bigger like they were in Doc's Master ICS ROM? Cause that was also 5 signal bar based. That's the only minor flaw about this theme, its hard to see how many bars of signal I have without looking at it up real close.
Go to rom control and increase the status bar default font size. They are already bigger than on Doc's rom now. Before the last change they were the same size.
Amazing

golfslicer Thanks for this..I missed this when i switched over from Turks Rom V8. Just notice the icon on Power Control wizard is a wee bit small. I know you removed this at one stage for Turks rom. any chance making this behave (grey/Blue) as in Turks rom. appreciate the good work..

Any ideas? Looking around dont see much on it.
What do you mean, an issue with it ? Your question is pretty vague and we can't do too much to help you without more details.
Stock CM9 install sets your DPI at 160. You can change this at any time by modifying your build.prop and changing the setting for lcd.density to something else - 120 is another common one to use. It's all a matter of personal taste. I have come to like the 160 - it isn't TOO big, but it's big enough, and things work quite well.

Changing the LCD Density requires a reboot. Please share the app that does this, as I have yet to find one.
One solution is to keep the LCD at 160, but using GO Launcher HD. You can set the icons to be smaller, and it overall looks much nicer then 120, which I find is wayyy to small.
There's a patch that you can flash available in the Alpha2 thread on Rootzwiki. As for an app, I haven't found one that just changes your lcd.density of your build.prop, but it is doable relatively easily.
I use an App from Google Play called 'DPI Changer'.
I know there are some ICS (Phone) Roms that have PAD (Per App Density) feature and you can configure how you want it, but it's something built in to the Rom. Changing the dpi now does require a reboot.

LCD Density Modder is the best app for changing the DPI of your Touchpad.
My current DPI is set to 155 its the best density I've used yet
I liked native 132 quite a lot but anything else than 160 or 120 breaks Market unfortunately.
And I'm too lazy to patch it so I'm on 160.

Another option for those who stay at 160 dpi is the change the font size to small in the display settings. It makes the display much better. I prefer to run at 120 with the font set to huge which is another option that works pretty well.
