I upgraded my NC to 1.3 then root it. My market currently works perfect but some problems are occurred with GMail & Youtube app
GMAIL: it can sync emails but cannot SEND any message out.
YOUTUBE: i can not watch any clip inside Youtube app (Youtube app said that "The problem has occurred")
P/S: i'm currently using Darginling 09012011 kernel.
Can anyone help me?
You might want to re-install GApps
just flash the gapps from cm7, huh?
YouTube has been broke for a few months. The only temp fix is to turn off high quality video. It's the apps fault not the roms
Oh and go to the market page. You will see many other phones have problems with youtube
Sent from my NookColor using xda premium

I had an issue with YouTube which was solved by reinstalling as described in this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1258529
I reinstalled using the youtube apk found in 16a image. I first deleted the existing YouTub apk from /system/apps with Titanium Backup. Then I copied the app from the 16a image over to the SD card and used RootExplorer to copy it to EMMC. I then ensured that NookColor Tools was set to allow installing apps from outside of the market. Once I re-installed everything was fine.
i tried to reinstall but it still doesn't work T_T. Thank all of you anyway
I installed Gallery ICS and liked, I would replace the Gallery3D, anyone know how?
I tried renaming, replacing the apk and change the permissions, but it didn't work!

Delete Gallery 3D from Root. And then restart.

OK, I did it and did what I thought
"It worked" but when I click on the preview of the last photo taken by the camera, can't access.
I'll try to rename the APK as Gallery3D.apk again
Ok, now managed to solve almost everything, just got a question:
I changed the Gallery3D for a gallery of my choice (renamed), but I can't access this gallery directly on camera!
Does anyone know how to do this?
I think you're on GB and installed Gallery ICS from play store. Unfortunately the gallery ics is not fully functional. It has strange slowdowns and sometimes consumes large amount of ram. And it's updated very rarely. Try quickpic instead.

Yes, I installed Gallery ICS from play store and I really liked, I haven't had any bug.
Now I just want to know how can I access this gallery directly on camera!
Because I already renamed the apk to Gallery3D and all other applications recognized, unless the camera.
then I have to go to my downloads or gallery to open and play them (& then delete etc). It's annoying!
Am thinking I have some setting configured incorrectly. Using Facebook app by the way. Any ideas? thanks!
Hello everybody,
I have an issue with a friend's Z1.
When someone sends him a YouTube link in Facebook, it does't open with YouTube.
It used to open with a Z1 embedded video player but it couldn't open the video link.
After he reset the app open assignments, the window to choose which program to use to open the link pops up, but there NO YouTube in the list!
YouTube is in the device of course as a ROM internal application (so I cannot remove it to re-add it).
Any ideas?

I don't know if it's possible, but maybe try uninstalling any updates to the Youtube app? Or clear cache/data if you haven't tried yet.
I take it your friend's Z1 is not rooted?
Yes it is not rooted.
I think there is option to uninstall updates. Then reinstall them?
I don't see how cache/data clearing will help though.
When I click a YouTube link in the fb app it asks to open in a browser window. I use chrome. It then pops up asking to use chrome or YouTube app to play the video.
Try clearing the defaults in the browser that's used
There are many complains that Periscope is not working on CM11 and CM12.x by Maclaw so i will show you how to watch Periscope on internet based browser
1. install Puffin Browser free on Playstore
2. search and follow #Periscope on twitter.com or click this link https://twitter.com/search?q=#Periscope&src=typd
3. Click on the link
4. Done
Adobe Flash player is server-sided and the server is located on US so no need to install Flash player app on your phone. You can change flash quality if you want lower or better quality. remember, some countries block Puffin browser.
