Contact List problem

I'm using this ROM: Dutty's WM6.1 Hybrid UC RTM at the moment but I have a problem with the contact list, I delete all the contacts on there already (the default contacts you get when you buy a new simcard like Directories, Show Balance, Voicemail etc.) and add my contacts on there, when I turn it off and switch it back on the list goes back to the default list again... How do I fix this?

[Q] Phonebook and Calendar syncing

Hi there,
These two topics I was wondering about and haven't found any answer here.
I had phone number on SIM card when switched to Captivate, copied all of them to phone's address book, then linked all accounts to facebook and gmail... now I'm switching the roms and I'm loosing all those numbers which were on phone (new entries I add only to gmail account, so they are going with me when i'm first syncing)
So anyway is there some way to move all the phone numbers from phone to google account so when I switch roms I will sync all the contacts?
And the calendar is always adding entries as default to phone's calendar and not my google calendar, is there a way to change this default value?
Thanks in advance,
Dima
download Google Calendar Sync.

Saving contacts default location

Hi all,
I was wondering if there was anyway to solve the following problem:
The contacts on my phone are synced with my Gmail contacts, I have a group called "Phone" in which all my contacts are stored.
On my phone, I have deselected everything except for the subgroup "Phone" which I created.
If I add a new contact on my phone, I can select that I want to save it to my google account, however one cannot select a subgroup.
So, I think it saves it by default to "Other contacts". The naturally it does not appear in my contacts list on my phone unless I select to sync that group as well.
Is there a way to change the default saving directory on the phone, or should I just move all my contacts to "Other contacts"?
Using Zues V3N, but this problem has been on the stock ROMs as well.
Thanks for any help.
Nevermind. Found the groups option when adding a new contact...
Didn't notice that before....
Someone is more than welcome to delete this thread if it is not useful at all

unable to save the contacts in HTC increadible s

Hi Every one
good evening...... please give me a solution to the problem or guide me to the site where the solution is available
thank you in advance
Well that's a weird problem... Try this: Recreate every single contact in one go and export them in a v-card file (that's the way, I backup my contacts - it's easy to backup and restore) after saving the file try a factory reset and import contacts after it. This could help u, but be sure that a factory reset will wipe out all your data on your phone (except SD-card).
It could also be something to do with your settings..
wen you create a a contact you could be saving it to your gmail account & your phone may be displaying the contacts on your phone.
and vice-verse. you could be saving to your phone & set display contacts to gmail account.
i do not think it is possible for you to just loose the contacts

Click to collapse
i did check it and all the contacts face book g mail phone sim everything is getting displayed
well if it is synced to google, log in to your gmail account & goto 'contacts'
see if the missing contacts are there.. if they are then there could be some problem with the phone (highly unlikely)

[Q] Store all contacts to Google by default?

There used to be this option to store all contacts to Google by default on the stock Gingerbread for Galaxy Ace but it seems gone when I flashed to CM7-APOCALYPSE-FINAL.
Every time I add a new contact it asks me to choose where to save to Google or not.
Is there a way to fix this? Also, can I replace the default Contacts app of CM7-APOCALYPSE-FINAL with Stock. If yes how where do I get a copy of the stock Contacts app?
