Hi legolas!
In fact the P990's camera has two protective "lenses".
In picture 1 you have the actual camera lens.
In picture 2 there is a plastic transparent cover to protect the actual camera lens, so this should be the only one ever to get scratched and it is easily replaceable.
Hope this was clear (and helpful) for you

The user above me said answered you very good and I think the one that is scratched for you is the Pic. 2 and that needs to be replaced. Hope it helps!

lol this aint my phone but i found this pic on the internet mine got like 2 scratches
any help??
Well their is no way to legally replace it until it just pops out or bursts out automatically and Samsung fixes it under warranty or replaces your phone with a new one. But I have a method which I read in an old article on net, its a cheap method but it works for me- you can just cut out a square piece from the protection cover which comes on top of your sgs when you buy it, just cut it to fit on top of your camera lens, make sure you haven't had any finger marks on the back side and then just apply it, you can clean the outer side with any cloth, if you keep the outer side clean and if you have applied it when back side was clean then camera will show no reduced quality image and it will be protected from scratches.
hit thankxx if i helped. sent from my mind through telepathy (ya its possible)!
Go to service and ask a question about b-cover. Camera glass isn't a several spare part.

first time we think it is a dust in lens, but if it a real dust it must change a location of photos
and They're think it is a problem in camera censor
I want to know a truth of this problem
who have a problem like this?
It most prob is a dust in the lens or glass assembly itself. Otherwise your sensor has some dead pixels(unlikely).
Shine a torch in the camera and see if you can spot scratches or dust.

Yes, two other people who have already their own thread about this. So search and read would be a good start if you want to join a discussion and get some answers or tips or whatever

HTC One Sliding Apart!

I've just noticed the front layer of my One is sliding away form the body below. Imagine the top layer is the screen and speaker grilles, the middle layer the white band and the bottom the layer the body.
The top layer has twisted slightly and you can see the top two layers are not quite in line. In the bottom corner the middle layer is slightly exposed.
Unfortunately, I don't have anything to take pictures to show.
Has anyone heard of this problem before? I'm thinking it can only get worse.
Thanks
Take a picture in the mirror, i would definitely like to see this.
This is weird. Need to see this
Never heard of a phone doing like this

I don't know exactly what you are talking about, but the phone is held together with adhesives so I don't doubt it. please take pictures.
Sadly, I'm travelling at the moment so can't get the pics everyone is craving . As soon as I found a decent camera, I'll put something up
In for nud..... I mean pics

[Q] remove scratches with screen protector?

Hi,
I just bought my galaxy gear, but unfortunatly my cat was playing with it and it has tons of scratches now.
So I was wondering if I apply a screen protector do you think it will hide scratches or I will end up with bubbles underneath?
Also long time ago I used a gel product as scratch remover(although my phone was not touch) and It worked really great. Scratch was so deep that I could feel it with my nail but removed it totally. Do you think I can use those scratch removers?(like displex : http://www.amazon.com/Displex-Displ...392320837&sr=8-2&keywords=scratch+remover+lcd)
Thanks
Dude, your cat. Seriously...

I wouldn't use any abrasives on a modern screen. Nowadays, these all have antireflective, antistatic, and antismudge films that wouldn't benefit from polishing. Unfortunately you can destroy a screen doing this. Ask me how I know.

What can I do in this case?
Use your T-shirt to wipe the lens a little bit, then try again, and try not to move..!
Is the bootloader unlocked? If yes in order to make things work again you have to flash a custom rom like nakazaki rom or superslim.
