Hi Guys hoping someone can help me out here. I have a HD7 S (ATT) version phone. I sold it and the buyer wants me to return it to stock as he isn't that technical. I used the att cingular rom posted by answer, but when I try to flash it I receive an error. Is there an issue based on bootloaders? IE: going from Mango back to Nodo?
I would like to get back to stock nodo and then just push the OTA updates before I ship it off. I swear I did this before but the flash isn't playing nice now. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
you might have to flash with gold card to get the boot error fixed.Did the tool you used to update contained a file named restore.bat? Because you can use it to restore to NoDo.
In that case you'll have to move your backup folder to C:\PreMangoState\ and then run the restore.bat file
Hmm, I think you need RSPL and HSPL but I don't know how about branded devices sry.
But Normaly the Stock Rom can Flashed all the time ......
Hi ive been reading reports that an official ICS has been released for the XL in the UK,
What i was wondering is if I have installed a custom ROM how do I go about getting this, do i need to find the original Gingerbread ROM then upgrade through official channels?
If so does anyone know where I can find a copy of the ROM?

Why even do you need it when you can flash whatever you want?
And if you wait a little, with that official update there will be more stable ICS roms. I hope even with sense 4. So you don't need all the headache with relocking etc

1) download the correct RUU for your device
2) Relock bootloader (fastboot oem lock)
3) when device boot back into fastboot and displays the "security warning" notice, run the RUU.
4) once completed boot into android and check for updates

do the rspl again and flash the stock rom...
So we need to:
1. Run DFT's Install EXE > switch to OSPL
2. Install stock ROM
Am I correct?
Can we install stock ROM on HSPL-ed device?
Thanks.
Hi,
In this thread:

if you just take note of items 38 through to 44, this should sort out the phone,
select an ROM close to what came on the phone.

There are two ways. Stock RUU as you said. For that you need to have your phone locked (it will say relocked) and it will wipe everything I believe your SD card too. Other option would be to see if you can locate a Clockwork or TeamWin backup for your phone and then restore that which wouldn't touch your SDcard. Here is a thread with RUU and Nandroid backups http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2207874
I am currently running the Bad Boy ROM v1.3. I want to upgrade to their latest ROM but im not sure how to go through the upgrade process. Do I need to do a backup move it to my computer then run a RUU for 4.3 then do the carrier upgrade then reflash recovery and then flash the new ROM? I could not seem to find an answer. Any guidance would be appreciated.
