I was a ipad user before I switched to this 7,7 tab and I used to use safari in my ipad, safari had this this reader feature that made reading in websites much easier by cleaning up the page and just leaving the text. Is there anyway to do this in this tab? Hope someone could help

None that I know of yet.
Really? Too bad. thanks anyway!
You can try this:
http://my.opera.com/tagawa/blog/readability-for-android
But I would first try the bookmarklets in Android's stock browser, which are linked in the article.
Try Dolphin has a reader add on that you can download from market as well does much the same as you are describeing
Thanks for the suggestions will they them all

Have you tried this app?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.readability
the downside is you have to select the articles you want to read on mobile on your desktop first.

I downloaded flash video browser from the android market. It has links to Hulu and other flash sites built in. Works well on my Note but the quality isn't HD like on a desktop.

i've tried freenote. i think its the worst memo type app. its not very easy to use the only best part is the paint, and the only reason i haven't uninstalled it yet is because of the paint feature
i'm gonna try the other ones you guys have posted
I like skitch because it's from evernote and the sketches/notes syncs automatically to my evernote on iPad, PC and Mac.

I just noticed that the stock browser displays websites in mobile mode and not desktop mode. This is very annyoing. Any way to set the browser to display sites as desktop form like Dolphin does? I have looked at the settings and can't figure it out.

Try ics browser from playstore, almost the same and can stay in desktop mode.

Thanks that seems to work, and now I am wondering why no videos play back on any browser.

type about:debug as url - then in settings a new debug menu is availible, you will find a option to change uastring ++ other funky things..
On ICS stock browser, you should be able to go to menu, then select Request Desktop View.

Yes, but doesn't stay permanently
The about:debug is the most "stable" method
I have a kindle fire hd, and i have been searching for hours now on how to take a video screenshot.
I found some apps, but the same thing happens to me every time; The video turns out completely black with no movement!
I found a video on how to fix this problem for regular android devices, but the kindle settings are different, and I cant access them!
Can someone please give me some advice!
Are you talking about a screencast application?

I've tried every app out there that I could find and none worked on my kfhd7. :banghead:

I think screencast apps just don't work on tablets in general, I've been able to use it on my Transformer but haven't found a suitable one for my Kindle.

The problem is that there's only 2 apps out there. And one of them barely works on any device. I have the paid version of Screencast Video Recorder... Hoping for an update soon that will make it compatible with the kfhd7.

I was using chrome from day one. Ended up using the stock internet browser to watch a flash video. It was much faster. Has anyone else experienced this as well?

I've been using chrome since it syncs with my pc. I've been thinking about switching to stock for the flash support, but iono, I'm so used to chrome
Yeah chrome has been my go to browser since day one as well. Stock browser seems really nice, but I just love chrome too much. Maybe I'll rotate them... But probably not.

Stock for me... Love the text flow when zooming in and won't give it up for anything..

Chrome for me as well. Just can't seem to give up the connectivity to my other devices. Open tabs, bookmarks etc...
Chrome as well, PC Sync makes it the clear winner in the Browser category for me.

There are many things like this the stock browser does better than chrome including flash.

I like this for chrome also but find the stock browser faster and smoother.

How were you able to get flash working. Tried watching a flash video today using the stock browser and it kept telling me I needed flash installed
Edit:
Yup just I installed the latest flash version from the thread and nothing

Chrome, verry nice look, clean interface, fast and reliable sync.
An excelent browser!
disabled Chrome, don't like it, never have. I am currently using One Browser, very quick.
I really want to use Chrome, but I prefer the Android stock browser's tab management better, specifically that the browser closes when you close the last open tab. If this can be done in Chrome, I've never seen the option to do it.

I really like dolphin but it stutters for me on a lot of sites I regularly visit which I use Chrome and stock when the stuttering gets to be too much

Maxthon browser for me, it's fast in areas where I have bad data. And I always have bad data.
Chrome and the stock Internet browser are good for quick things.. But even telling it to give you the desktop site, it typically doesn't.
Everyone do yourselves a favor and try opera on this thing.
